Chapter 76: Admit it if you make a mistake

Facing Carol's questioning, Kevin remained silent.

He didn't expect Carol to show up suddenly.

There was no way Carol knew he was still alive, so someone tipped him off!

who is it?

Talos, the Skrull?

Or Nick Fury?

Kevin already had the answer in his mind. Talos had no reason to do such a thing, it could only be Nick Fury!

"sorry!"

Kevin couldn't defend himself. This was tantamount to being caught in bed, so how could he argue?

Carol clenched her fists, her whole body was trembling slightly, her body was already floating, and her body was shining with a slight glory.

Kevin was ready to get beat up.

He had been avoiding it at first, but now that the thing he was most worried about had really appeared, he felt calmer.

"Ah~!" Jessica yelled softly, then covered her mouth with fear in her eyes.

"Haha," Carol sneered and glanced over.

Kevin sighed and moved a few steps to block Carol's view.

"This matter is my fault. It has nothing to do with her. It's because I'm not dedicated to my feelings."

Now that what happened last night, Kevin couldn't let Jessica bear Carol's anger.

It's because he can't control his lower body, and he lets a woman bear the consequences. Is this something a man can do?

Carol's eyes turned cold and she glanced at the trembling woman who was tugging at the hem of Kevin's clothes.

"We're done, goodbye! No, never again!"

Hearing these words, Kevin didn't feel much heartache, he just felt empty in his heart.

From the beginning, his intentions were not pure, and it was nonsense to say how much he loved Carol.

But if there is no emotion at all, that is impossible.

"Are you still going to hunt down the Kree?" Kevin stretched out his hand, but in the end he didn't have the nerve to say the words asking her to stay.

"It's none of your business," Carol replied coldly.

A stream of light flashed in the night sky, and the beauty was no longer in the room.

Kevin stared blankly in the direction Carol left, feeling a little stuck in his heart.

If Carol really wanted to beat him up, or even want to kill him in anger, he would be able to accept it.

But this feeling of grief, greater than death, made him feel like he had become the most annoying scumbag ever.

"She, she can fly!"

Jessica stared blankly at the door, her whole body still not recovered from the blow that shattered her outlook on life.

"Who is she? Kevin, who are you?"

Kevin came to his senses and smiled pretending to be relaxed.

"We agreed not to enter life, only enter the body."

"But, but," Jessica's voice stuttered, "She can fly! She can also shine! Is she an alien? Will she kill me?"

"No, no, no, if she really wants to kill someone, it should be me she wants to kill."

Kevin walked to the door and looked back at Jessica, who still had panic on her face.

"Kevin, Kevin!"

Kevin sighed, walked over and touched her hair.

"Don't be afraid, it's okay. You were tired last night. Just keep resting.

I have something else to do. I’ll come back to you in two days! "

Seeing the woman's still uneasy expression, Kevin bent down and picked her up, walked to the bedroom, put her down, and covered her with the quilt gently.

"Don't worry, I'll fix it."

Kevin's gentle smile made Jessica's expression gradually calm down.

"If I hadn't come out suddenly, maybe——"

"This has nothing to do with you," Kevin carefully covered her with the quilt and looked at the temperature of the air conditioner. 26 degrees was just right, neither too cold nor too hot.

"I won't blame women for my mistakes. You were right to seduce me. If I don't move, you can't force me. Besides..."

Kevin didn't say any more, but secretly added something in his mind.

Besides, his own personal relationship is now in a mess, and even without Jessica around, Carol will find out sooner or later.

After leaving Jessica's house, Kevin took out his cell phone.

"Where are you? We just saved the world, should we celebrate?"

Kevin's voice was calm, and there was even a hint of joy in his tone.

Fury was stunned for a moment when he received Kevin's call, "Celebrating? Nothing else but this?"

He is currently hiding in a safe house in SHIELD. Since Kevin wants to hide the news that he is alive, if he leaks it, it will definitely anger this guy.

"Otherwise, what else could happen?"

Fury couldn't hear anything from the other person's tone, so he carefully tried: "Carol seems to have come back from space."

"Really? You didn't tell her I was still alive, did you?"

"No, no, of course not," Fury breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Carol hadn't gone to Kevin yet.

"You go to Buffalo near Lake Erie. Talos and his relatives are there."

"it is good!"

Kevin hung up the phone, the smile on his face disappeared, walked to the garage, drove a car casually, and rushed to the address Fury just reported.

When passing by a large supermarket, I stopped the car and bought some things.

By the time Kevin arrived in Buffalo, several hours had passed.

Arriving at Lake Erie, Kevin got out of the car and looked around.

The sparkling lake, the lush woods, and a few simple and natural cabins.

It's a very clean place, and there are security guards on the way in to prevent passers-by from breaking in.

A group of Skrull children were playing with each other. When they saw the sudden appearance of a car, they subconsciously stepped back.

Kevin got out of the car and took the things out of the car with a smile.

There are beef, snacks, vegetables, seafood, etc...

The children were afraid to come over, so Kevin gave the snacks to the Skrull children, but they happily accepted them and thanked them politely.

Seeing this scene, Fury finally gave up his doubts and walked out of the darkness.

Kevin chuckled, waved hello to the future director of S.H.I.E.L.D., turned around and took out a baseball bat from the car.

Fury's expression changed, knowing that he had been deceived.

Kevin swung the baseball bat and slowly walked towards Fury, "Hey, why don't you run? It's boring if you don't run, and I won't be able to fight him!"

"I can't run away, and you won't kill me. There's no point in running away."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, you are really sensible, but why do you say that I won't kill you? Do you think you know me well?"

"You can't say that," Fury's face looked a little ugly, but he was still calm.

"You are afraid of trouble. No, you probably hate trouble. If you really want to kill me, you won't let anyone know.

Since there are so many people here, you can't possibly kill me!

The reason I told Carol you were alive was because I thought you might be able to get her to stay, and you saw what happened this time.

We don't have much ability to resist in front of aliens. The earth must have the ability to protect itself! "

Kevin sneered and got closer, "Is this the reason why you betrayed me?"

"I hope you can keep Carol, she trusts-"

Click!

Kevin's baseball bat hit hard.

Fury covered his twisted arm and groaned. The severe pain caused cold sweat to break out on his forehead.

"I'm done with Carol, she'll probably leave the earth soon!"

A flash of shock flashed across Fury's face, "Why?"

Kevin didn't answer and dropped the baseball bat, "I'll teach you a little lesson this time. Some people always stand on the moral high ground but use despicable means.

Next time, you won’t only lose one hand! "
