[HP] Being a problem student at Hogwarts

Chapter 32 Marauder's Map

To Tom's dismay, he didn't find Harry near the statue.

He whispered Harry's name, but no one responded.

Harry wasn't the kind of kid to play pranks on others. Probably because he himself has been the target of vicious pranks in the past and knows what it feels like, so he doesn't take the initiative to play tricks on others.

Now that Harry was gone, it was more likely that something would happen to him than Harry trying to hide and scare Tom. You know, there is still a dangerous person in the school.

Tom gritted his teeth and ran towards Snape's office.

He didn't care whether he would be seen by others, so he banged the door hard and shouted: "Professor! Professor!"

"You'd better really—" Snape said through gritted teeth, holding on to the door.

"Harry is missing!" Tom said quickly, "He came with me and originally agreed to wait for me outside, but now he is gone!"

Snape turned blue.

"Stay here!" He held his wand in one hand and shoved Tom irritably into the potions office.

Tom refused: "You go look for him elsewhere. I'll go back to Gryffindor Tower to see if he's there."

There is no time to argue now. Whether in the magical world or the Muggle world, the first golden factor in disappearance cases is time. Searching separately is of course the fastest way.

"Pay attention." Snape warned briefly.

Tom ran back to Gryffindor Tower as fast as he could, and when he spoke the password to the Fat Lady, he felt blood rising in his throat.

"Harry, is Harry back?"

As soon as the Fat Lady got out of the way, he stumbled in, causing Hermione, who was sitting near the door waiting for their return, to scream in fright.

"No, we didn't see him." Ron's face turned pale. He could tell from Tom's state that something was wrong, "What happened?"

"Harry is gone. He is not waiting for me there." Tom breathed hard, "Professor Snape went to find him. I'll come back to see if he came back on his own."

"Harry will not do what has been agreed upon." Hermione said with a tearful voice, "Something must have happened to him!"

"Campus radio!" she shouted. "We use the campus radio to find him!"

"If nothing happens to Harry yet, but once the broadcast stimulates the person who took Harry away and makes him realize that he has been exposed, he may immediately take action and escape." Tom drank a large glass of water in one breath and said.

"I guess Professor Snape will go to Professor Quirrell to check, but at the same time we have to think about where else Harry might be." Tom thought as optimistically as possible, "Harry might just be a senior Slytherin." students found out and were forced to leave."

Hermione sobbed. She recognized that the man behind the scenes was Professor Quirrell, but if it was against a professor, what chance could a first-year student have of winning?

"Yes, yes, the book says that there are a lot of secret passages and dark rooms in Slytherin," she flapped her nostrils and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Looking at the bright side, maybe Harry is just trapped somewhere." "

Ron stood frozen on the spot, thinking hard.

"If anyone among the students knows the most about the secret passages of Hogwarts..." Ron shouted, "George! Fred!"

He shouted the names of his twin brothers loudly and quickly called the two brothers over.

"Dear little Ron--" George said unhappily. He also had an afro on his head. He had obviously rushed over after the curse experiment failed.

"Harry is missing!" Ron lowered his voice and said in horror, "Is there anything you can do?"

The twins became serious.

"How long has he been gone? When was the last time you saw him?" Fred asked.

"I don't know, it probably didn't take long. We agreed that he would be waiting for me in front of the statue before entering the cellar, but he disappeared." Tom said quickly. .seven

"Taken away by the evil Slytherin?" George asked, reaching into his pocket to fumble.

"I don't know, but he's wearing an invisibility cloak."

Fred gave them a wink: "Stand back, kids, you are about to see our biggest secret."

They formed a circle, and Fred even cast a few silencing charms around them.

George pulled out a tattered piece of parchment.

"Don't worry," George comforted, patting the parchment cherishingly, "We'll find Harry soon."

He stretched out his wand, touched the parchment lightly and said, "I solemnly swear that I have done no good."

Thin lines of ink, as thin as a spider's web, immediately began to appear where the wand had just touched. These lines met and crossed each other, extending to all corners of the parchment, and then curved green capital letters began to appear above the parchment:

"Auxiliary supplier for magical prank makers

Gentlemen Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs

proudly presented

Marauder's Map. "

This map contains all the details of Hogwarts Castle and the various venues, but what is truly amazing are the countless tiny ink dots that move across the map, each of which is painted with extreme detail. Small letters mark a name.

"What is this?" Hermione leaned forward to take a closer look. "Peeves is in the corridor near our door. Professor Dumbledore is in the principal's office..." Her eyes wandered around the map, "No...no...here." Nor...Professor Snape is in Professor Quirrell's office!"

The strange thing is that the ink dot showing Professor Quirrell's name seems to have been soaked in water, making it blurry and difficult to identify.

"Poor Quirrell," said George.

"He's the one who keeps attacking Harry." Tom said while struggling to identify each name on the map, "Harry...Harry..."

"What?" Fred was surprised, "Quirrell? That poor stammering man?"

But Hermione shouted over him: "Found it!"

The little black dot representing Harry Potter was wandering around the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, spinning around as if he wanted to enter.

Several people looked at each other.

"What to do now?" Tom asked, "Harry is wearing an invisibility cloak, so Professor Snape can't see him. And Harry doesn't know how dangerous Professor Quirrell is, and he seems to want to get closer to find out about the enemy."

"Aha," George seemed much more relaxed after finding Harry, "This is the time when the benefits of making friends are shown."

"Our old friend, a good friend forever," Fred said, standing up straight.

"Who are you talking about?" Ron asked.

"In Hogwarts Castle, which cannot be apparated, the fastest messengers are of course ghosts." George said happily, "Isn't Peeves right at the door?"

George walked out of the common room to find Peeves. After a while, they saw on the map that Peeves had arrived in the corridor at the door of the Defense Against the Dark Arts office almost in a straight line, and then the little black dot representing Peeves was in the corridor. Going back and forth, you can almost imagine the scene of Peeves laughing wildly and whizzing around in the corridors.

Soon, the little black dot representing Harry was forced to retreat - no matter whether Peeves could see Harry or not, it was dragging debris back and forth in the corridor anyway, and Harry had no choice but to retreat from the range attack.

"Okay, let's pick up Harry quickly and don't let him run back without giving up." Fred put away the map and said, "It's okay if Peeves causes trouble once. If he does it more, everyone will know there's a problem."
