[HP] Being a problem student at Hogwarts

Chapter 19 The Real Perpetrator

The popularity of Quidditch radio programs recently is also related to the start of the Quidditch season this school year. Every college is eager to win first place.

Harry had been training for several weeks. Even when the whole school stopped flying, Wood did not let them go and made all the team members memorize countless formations and variations. Harry bet that if Wood put half of his enthusiasm for Quidditch into studying, he would definitely be the first in his grade.

As flight training resumes and the competition date approaches, Wood's stringent requirements for the team have also stepped up one step after another.

"Saturday, Gryffindor plays Slytherin." Wood anxiously paced back and forth in the lounge, waving his thick and powerful arms to each exhausted and sweaty player, "We must win!"

He couldn't help but be excited. If the Gryffindor team won, their ranking in the House Cup would rise to second place. In Wood's words, that was their "closest to the Academy Cup."

For this reason, Wood forced them to practice Quidditch every minute, so that Harry had no time to complete his homework seriously, and had to rely on rambling and piecing together to solve the problem. Even if Tom and Hermione hadn't helped him count his textbooks and homework, he wouldn't have discovered that he had written the same Transfiguration homework twice, and he had signed the other Charms homework "Quidditch".

"You have to stop and have a rest, Harry," Tom suggested to him. "Go out into the yard to catch your breath and change your mind."

"I've breathed too much fresh air." Even so, Harry accepted his suggestion and sneaked outside to rest with Ron during the break. Even so, he still brought "Quidditch Origins" with him, intending to read some more.

"I'm going to see them," Hermione also put down her pen. "I have to say, Harry is under too much pressure. It's too cruel for Harry to have Wood put all his hopes of winning on Harry."

Tom thought they would be more relaxed when they came back, but instead he met three angry friends.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

"Snape!" Ron gritted his teeth, "He went too far. In order to deduct points from Gryffindor, he even made up temporary rules..."

"Maybe it's true? I mean, the books in the library can only be read in the castle, maybe to protect the books." Hermione said.

"Come on, Hermione." Ron rolled his eyes, "When are you going to give up your theory that all teachers are good people? He just wants to confiscate Harry's books!"

"Perhaps Professor Snape also thinks that Harry should take a rest and stop thinking about Quidditch." Tom joked.

Harry laughed a few times just to avoid the awkward situation.

"I wonder what happened to his leg," Harry said, changing the subject. "Snape has been limping for a while."

"Don't know, but I hope he's in enough pain," said Ron gleefully.

In the evening, the Gryffindor common room was as lively as ever. They sat by the window and checked each other's work. Harry stood up absentmindedly and said: "I have to go get the book back."

Ron and Hermione disagreed with this, but Tom thought it would be good for Harry to do anything to relieve the tension before the game.

"I'm not nervous." Harry argued, "I just thought, why should I be afraid of Snape?" After that, he walked out majestically.

Not long after, they saw Harry running back panting.

"Guess what I saw!" He couldn't wait to tell him that he saw a bloody wound on Snape's leg. "It looks like he was bitten by something!". 7

"You don't know yet?"

They were startled by the twins who suddenly approached.

I don't know if it was George or Fred, but it was one of them who squeezed in with a smile and said, "Aha, you actually just knew that Snape was bitten?"

"Ah, yeah, you shouldn't." The other one looked at Tom maliciously.

Tom suddenly felt an ominous premonition.

"There have been rumors about Hufflepuff——"

"Someone from Gryffindor—"

"Because I'm not angry about Snape's confinement punishment——"

“After hugging my legs and begging to no avail——”

The two sang together: "Bite Snape hard!"

"Huh?" Everyone was shocked.

"Who knows, that's what the rumor says anyway," the twins laughed and said, "another rumor is that a certain unknown guy in Gryffindor didn't want to dissect slugs anymore, so he took advantage of the night to dissect slugs. Sneak-attacked Snape, jumped up and scratched Snape's knee——"

"What a mess about jumping up and scratching your knees!" cried Tom angrily.

"So you really bit Snape's leg?" Ron asked.

Tom felt depressed in his heart, and for a moment he didn't know whether Ron was really stupid or just naturally evil.

The twins laughed even harder and deliberately continued to tease him: "Why else would Snape ignore Tom recently?"

Ron looked convinced.

Tom was so angry that he really wanted to bite someone.

Harry also defended Tom seriously: "I don't think it's Tom -"

"I really appreciate your trust," Tom said angrily.

"Snape said he couldn't keep an eye on three heads at the same time. How could Tom have three heads?"

Hermione pinched Tom's arm excitedly from the side, causing Tom to hiss and inhale in pain.

"Three heads!" she said to Tom in a low voice, looking at him meaningfully.
