From Gods to Marvel

Chapter 33 Ragnarok

Sacrifice is an ancient ritual.

Odin hung himself on the World Tree for seven days and seven nights. He sacrificed himself to himself and gained endless knowledge at the cost of losing one eye.

The Vikings fought in all directions and even crossed the ocean to North America. However, what awaited them was a rain of arrows from the Indians.

They wanted to escape back to their hometown, but when they climbed onto the sailboat, they were surprised to find that there was no wind.

They sacrificed to the great father god Odin, and each warrior gouged out one of his eyes, but the god was unmoved.

They looked towards the fire and sacrificed a young life. Finally, a ray of breeze blew.

The Vikings knew what this meant. Such wind could not allow them to return to their hometown, and such sacrifices could not satisfy God the Father.

They started killing each other until half of them were dead.

The wind picked up, and they sailed the sailboat back to their hometown, never to set foot in that doomed land again.

This is sacrifice—a fair and holy transaction based on power.

The eternal fire was such a precious treasure that the giants never thought of sacrificing it. In fact, they could not sacrifice it.

Lauritz is a special being. The infinite power of the giant and the mastery of nature by the gods are perfectly integrated into one place, which allows him to sacrifice many creatures and treasures.

Jörmungandr opened her mouth, and pink tentacles grew all over her mouth. They kept squirming, and a cloud of gray mist spat out from her mouth and spread immediately.

Iris guessed what it was and informed Magna before he caught his breath.

"This is poison that can kill gods. Don't breathe!"

He concentrated his energy and continued to build the most original law of thunder, and a bright light flashed vaguely between the dark clouds.

Magna followed suit, took a deep breath, and then increased the output of his divine power.

Thunder and lightning struck down from the middle of the sky, one gold and one silver, they intertwined with each other, and finally merged into one place, turning into pure purple.

This thunder did not hit Jörmungandr, but fell on the hammer and spear.

Destructive power was poured into both of their bodies.

Jormungandr looked at them curiously, but in the next moment, a stinging pain spread from her mouth to her whole body.

This giant python, which is a hundred meters long, has two rows of fine and sharp fangs growing out of its mouth.

She understood that it was her mother's credit. He knew what Lauritz wanted. As an obedient child, she rushed towards Iris again.

Her huge body meandered in the air, and with just one twist, she arrived above the two of them.

Iris glanced sideways at Magna. He retracted his spear, leaned back, and threw the thunderbolt violently.

Magna nodded in understanding. He tightened his grip on the hammer, aimed at the end of the spear, and smashed it.

Jörmungandr's body was so big that she almost covered the sky and the moon, and the spears and thunder were like needles in front of her.

Mjolnir hit the thunder. The spear contained the power of the Greek god-king, and the hammer contained the blessings of the Nordic gods. The two were superimposed, and the spear pierced Jörmungandr's head.

A purple arc of electricity bloomed in the python's body. Divine power and the power of rules were intertwined. The mighty power of the Hall of Valor and the glory of Mount Olympus merged into one. It was extremely subversive and completely penetrated the python.

Jörmungandr hit the glacier hard, and her body slowly turned into ash starting from the tail.

Iris and Magna were pinned down by the remaining corpse. When they broke free, it was already 10 minutes later.

Magna looked at the air that had returned to clearness. He tentatively resumed his breathing, but he didn't feel any pain.

"Twilight of the Gods...I can't imagine that this is Lauritz's fault!"

Magna was still immersed in the shock of seeing Jormungandr. For any person or god, it was an out-and-out world-destroying beast.

"If I had the choice again, I would kill him before coming here."

Iris locked his sights on Jotunheim, and sure enough, he saw a thin figure hiding towards the villa.

"I don't know how to deal with this, but I hope he doesn't do more wrong, I mean hurt other people."

Magna stretched out his hand, and Mjolnir was pulled out of the mud of the valley and flew towards the top of the snow-capped mountains.

"Be careful."

Iris pushed Magna away. Jormungandr's body did not completely dissipate. Her head moved. She opened her mouth and bit the two of them.

"No!"

Magnar threw Mjolnir in a weightless state. The moment the hammer hit the fangs to stop the python, he slapped his palm on the ground and bounced up, pushing Iris far away.

Jormungandr's fanged mouth quickly closed.

"I can't believe that a cunning boy like you could be..."

Odin listened to the whispers of the two crows, and his eyes crossed the obstacles of buildings and mountains, and landed on a certain snowy peak in the Jinlunga Gap.

He smiled helplessly and had to accept the fact that he had to take action.

"One-eyed dragon..."

"The God of the Gallows..."

"Lord of Wednesday..."

"God of war and storms..."

"King of the Gods..."

Prayers have been passed down from ancient times to the present, and Odin's command has resounded throughout the long river of time.

He stood up slowly, leaning on the spear - it was the most powerful weapon in the world, it was an anchor that could span space and the world, it was the eternal spear that locked destiny!

Odin's soul left the aging body. He clutched the Eternal Spear, rode the eight-legged Pegasus, and galloped towards the snowy peak.

swoosh~

He threw Gungnir!

The spear came from the place where the ice and snow melted, and pierced the thousand-foot snow peak.

The edge of the Eternal Spear instantly penetrated Jörmungandr's head, blasting a gap into the mountain.

Magna sat on the ground in despair.

Iris stood there quietly, his eyes unwavering - you would never be able to tell anything from his face.

……

At dawn, Iris and Magna came to Edda Mental Hospital.

Odin sat quietly on the balcony, his back to the two of them, and did not speak for a long time.

"I think Lauritz should be left at your disposal. There is no better idea than that."

Iris narrowed his eyes and looked at his back teasingly.

Magna did not understand the implication of this sentence, because he did not know that Lauritz was a pawn of Odin.

"You are smarter than I thought. You are so smart that you are a bit too smart...Sorry, I almost forgot about the contract. I can't mention it in front of you."

Odin turned the wheelchair and looked at the two men with a smile.

"You know, everything is a transaction, whether it is faith or sacrifice, without exception."

Iris has great righteousness. He knows that Jormungandr is preparing to kill him. He guessed it from the moment he saw the giant python.

“You’re right kid…it’s all a transaction, remember that night at the department store?

I sent you a gift and it will come, it's just a matter of time, I'm sure of it. "

Odin snatched a raven from his shoulder, and he smiled and stroked its wings.

“Thank you for your generosity, I will love this gift.

You gotta get paid for tonight though... I want a clue, that's only fair, isn't it? "

Iris looked directly at the God King.
