From Gods to Marvel

Chapter 30 Prelude to the War

Odin always brings storms and wars. This is his authority. When they come, some unlucky ones will die and some lucky ones will survive.

Those who died in battle will be promoted to the Hall of Valor. As for those who survive, it is not a gift from the God King, but it is just that the time has not come yet.

The weather in Norway has been a little unusual recently. Mortals only know that a storm is coming, but for giants and gods, it is the call of war.

The lights in Jotunheim stayed on all night, and Yutu Industries faced a huge crisis, but Rahn stayed away all night and is still missing.

"The police said they found Rahn's car in the river. The Massha was completely totaled. They said the chance of Rahn surviving was extremely slim."

Saksha hung up the phone and frowned slightly, feeling a little uneasy.

“A car accident can’t kill a giant.”

Fu You sneered at the police station's rhetoric.

"It rained heavily last night and there was a lot of thunder."

Saksha seemed to have something on her mind. She took out the iron gun and gently rubbed the tip of the gun with her fingertips.

"Magna? No, maybe Iris."

Fu You is more inclined to the second answer. After all, Rahn happened to learn the true face of Iris last night.

His eyes were particularly gloomy.

"We've lost two family members."

Saksha picked up the iron gun and threw it towards the log on the far wall.

Click.

The spear broke through the logs and embedded itself directly into the wall.

"The war has begun."

Fu You took off the black suit he was wearing and took off the battle ax from the wall.

"Tonight is the night of the new moon, and we will kill all our enemies."

Saksha came to Fuyou's side and stood side by side with him.

……

Iris didn't answer.

He stared at Lauritz warily, his spearhead always pointed towards the enemy.

"I've shown enough sincerity, haven't I? Otherwise I wouldn't have thrown away the arrow."

Lauritz is a natural speaker, his eyes are sincere, of course, he has always been like this, even when he is making up the most absurd lies, he does not look guilty or nervous at all.

"I don't want to kill you just yet, don't let me change my mind."

Iris knew Lauritz was a scourge, but Magna didn't think so.

"Okay, don't be angry, I'll leave now."

Lauritz knelt down, picked up the arrow, and hurried away under the sight of Iris.

Iris locked his gaze on the stove. Being familiar with the laws of thunder, he was already aware of the remaining thunder power on the flames.

"Is Mjolnir completed? This may be the only good news recently."

Iris walked into the furnace. He dispersed the thunder and put his right hand into the furnace body. The flames on the coals disappeared instantly.

The new moon night is approaching, and the final battle is about to begin. Iris has no time to analyze the law of fire.

Iris walked out of the garage. It was already dawn. He looked towards the top of the snow-capped mountains, but this time he did not see the majestic eagle.

"Gods and giants, war and death, everything is finally coming to an end."

Iris looked at the towering snow-capped mountains and fell silent.

……

Magna quietly came to Geli's house. He found a coffee shop opposite and sat there for a long time.

He has been observing Geli's movements.

Geli was not having a good life recently, her father's condition was getting worse and worse, and Fu You broke up with her just at this time, which undoubtedly made things worse.

Fu You did love Ge Li, and even thought of breaking away from the Tu family because of her, but Weida's death made him furious. The giant's dignity did not allow him to have contact with mortals anymore, and the relationship could only end in vain.

This was a good opportunity, but Magna decided to give up - even when Fu You wanted to kill her, she still chose to believe him.

Magna stirred the coffee unconsciously. He thought of Isolde, or in other words, missed her very much. He thought she would be his first friend, but now he realized that she was his only friend.

"It's time to end all this, chaos, pollution, violence, injustice... the world will not change this way."

Magna didn't add any milk or sugar. He drank the cup of coffee in one gulp. Of course, the aftertaste was only bitter.

……

Iman was an orphan, a common occurrence for a black girl.

Goddess of luck favored her - a white couple adopted the poor abandoned baby, and Iman was able to grow up healthily.

She has known since she was a child that she has no blood relationship with her parents. Needless to say, the difference in skin color explains everything. This cannot be explained by genetic mutations.

She ran away from that family, even though the couple loved her, but she knew it was because they had no choice.

Such a girl is extremely insecure. She dresses up fancyly and pretends to be strong, but her heart is still fragile.

The Witch of Volva gave her divine power, but she did not take the war between gods and giants seriously.

She is still the little bastard, but she has divine power, which is a wonderful power - she can manipulate people's hearts.

She used this power to eat and drink for free, and even gained an admirer - the owner of the garage, a bald man named Harmon.

The power of the gods has not yet returned to its peak state, and only Thor can be regarded as a powerful force.

Odin gave Hamon great power, so the camp of the gods had three gods, and the God King was naturally not among them.

At dusk, Iman took Harmon into the alley where the small house she rented was located.

"Iman."

Harmon followed the girl stupidly, and he suddenly said.

"what?"

Iman didn't pay much attention.

"He's been following us."

Harmon slowly turned around and looked at a telephone pole on the side of the road.

"Hi, Iman."

Lauritz walked out calmly, wearing a loose black sweatshirt and a sincere smile on his face.

"You are... Magna's giant brother? Why do you follow me?"

Iman turned around, put her hands in her pockets, chewed gum carelessly, and looked at Lauritz teasingly.

"I have some misunderstandings with Magna. Maybe you can help me reconcile with him."

Lauritz came closer step by step.

Harmon vaguely felt that something was wrong, but he knew that his brain was not working well. Iman did not give orders, so he did not make any moves.

"Listen, I understand how you feel. As an orphan, I never dream of knowing what my biological parents look like, but that's not the reason for you and your brother to have trouble."

Iman admonished in the tone of an experienced person.

"I think you're the only one who understands me."

Lauritz was silent for a moment. He raised his head and smiled apologetically.

……

Ada Asylum.

Wotan is sitting in a wheelchair. He faces the mountains and seems to be asleep.

Two crows chattered over his shoulder, but this did nothing to wake him.

Odin had two ravens that would fly across the nine realms and tell the god-king everything they saw.

"The ancient prophecies are about to be fulfilled, and the Twilight of the Gods has arrived."

Wotan is asleep, but Odin is awake.
