From Gods to Marvel

Chapter 18 The Mystery of Life Experience

Vulcan is the god of fire and craftsmen, one of the twelve main gods in Roman mythology, and corresponds to Hephaestus in Greek mythology.

Rome had no mythology. When they needed a god, they transformed Greek mythology. Hence the story of Vulcan building a sun chariot for Apollo.

Which comes first, gods or faith? This is a difficult question to explain, but regardless, God is far more powerful than humans.

Every weapon Vulkan forged was powerful because he imprinted some of the laws of fire into the weapon.

This is the reason why Iris still asks Vulkan to make a sword even though he has the artifact Thunder.

"I could feel the power of it."

Iris grasped the hilt of the sword with both hands, and he slashed down violently, and a crisp sword roar sounded in the sky.

"I almost thought you would take the opportunity to kill me."

Vulkan raised his eyebrows, turned around with a smile, and picked up the hammer again.

"He also ordered a sword from you, didn't he?"

Iris twisted the hilt of the sword, and the smooth blade was facing his face. He could see his own eyes - a pair of cold golden eyes.

Vulkan's hammer paused in the air for a moment, and then continued to hit the piece of pig iron.

"What are you talking about? Now that I am the God of Guns, I can take advantage of the power of faith.

You are a member of the New Gods, otherwise I would not help you forge the sword. "

Vulkan still had his back to Iris, and he swung the hammer methodically, smashing out bursts of sparks.

"If I were the leader of the old gods, I would not allow the God of Craftsmen to leave."

Iris suddenly came to Vulkan's side. He held the sword in his right hand and grasped the handle of the hammer with his left hand.

Vulkan held the end of the hammer handle with both hands, and he slowly pressed the hammer down.

Iris's pupils shrank. He didn't expect that this seemingly frail old guy could possess such huge power.

He didn't dare to raise his hand, so he quickly raised his sword and used both hands.

"Do you think you are invincible after defeating the leprechaun? Boy, you don't take the ancient gods seriously."

Vulkan grinned, and he exerted force again, and the hammer head began to gradually become hot and red.

Iris tried his best to support the sword, not daring to relax at all, but he was still suppressed by the huge force.

His upper body began to lean back, and he could even feel the hot temperature of the torrent of molten iron.

"You're doing something for him."

Iris's body had been bent at a right angle, but he still maintained a calm expression, and he even did not forget to smile at the old man.

"Hey boss, what are you doing?"

Under the high platform, an engineer holding a drawing noticed this scene.

"You are lucky."

Vulgan snorted coldly and then slowly put away the hammer.

"Nothing, we are just playing a thrilling game."

The old man waved to the ground.

“You didn’t want to kill me, otherwise you could have used Thunder.

I think you should know that even I dare not touch its edge head-on. "

Vulkan turned around and said meaningfully.

“This is the home of the Flames, and I’m not so arrogant as to think I can kill you here.

I just wanted to confirm one thing, and now it seems that I have got the answer. "

Iris put the sword into the Reality Stone without hesitation.

"You know me, or rather, you know who I am."

He looked at Vulkan seriously, but the latter shook his head.

"It's a weird thing, I mean, even Slavic gods exist in this land, but I've never seen a Greek god."

Vulkan frowned slightly, seeming to be thinking about something.

"If one of the main gods on Mount Olympus exists here, I don't think the Norse gods will be the only one."

"In other words, you don't know my life experience?"

Iris asked a little disappointed.

"I really don't know, but I know one thing - Zeus will not allow a strange mortal to hold his weapon, whether it is a real thunder or not."

Vulkan threw the hammer to the ground. He grabbed Iris' right hand and slowly opened his palm.

"Iris, I think you are the abandoned child of a Greek god...

I built palaces for the gods on Mount Olympus, and I am a friend of the gods...You can always trust me, no matter where you are. "

The old man looked at him kindly, as if he were looking at his nephew.

Iris looked at his right hand blankly, and a bright red flame pattern appeared in his palm.

"This is my gift to you. If one day you return to Mount Olympus, I hope you can bring the gods here, to this desert of faith..."

Vulkan patted his shoulder, and then limped toward the stairs. He knew that Iris could not digest this fact for a while.

"Children of Greek gods..."

Iris murmured absently. In fact, from the day he manifested the spear thunder, he had a vague intuition, and it was only until today that this intuition became a fact.

He didn't feel sad, he was just a little surprised. In fact, even the surprise was minimal.

"If so, maybe she's not dead."

The reason why he came here is to solve the mystery of his life experience and hope to find a way to resurrect his mother.

So far, although he has not solved the mystery, he at least has a clear direction.

"I must become stronger, strong enough to negotiate with the Odin of this world."

Iris quickly adjusted his mentality. He looked at the palm of his hand, and a fire seemed to be ignited in his golden eyes.

"This is truly a valuable gift."

He mobilized the fragments of the Reality Stone to imprint this complete shadow of the law - the law of fire is the basis for Vulkan's survival.

In fact, Iris is no longer sure whether this fragment is really the Reality Stone.

If his life experience is related to Greek gods, then this fragment should be some kind of artifact.

Iris looked at the ground. Vulcan put on his sunglasses. He raised his head and grinned at Iris.

"If one of the main gods in Roman mythology has the same power as me, then I can probably imagine the strength of the old bastard."

Iris looked at the huge furnace high in the sky, and he could feel the power of the flames.

He simply sat cross-legged on the ground and closed his eyes.

The shadow of the law given to him by Vulkan has been turned into fragments and integrated into his blood. Of course, these fragments have been extracted with gems.

This force of law is like the sparks that humans use to make fire. It is the source of everything.

Different from the difficulties in analyzing the Law of Thunder, this phantom helped Iris complete the leap from nothing to something, which saved him a lot of effort...

The night passed quickly, and dawn broke through the darkness.

Iris opened his eyes, and the lightning arcs and flames danced together.
