From Gods to Marvel

Chapter 1 Thor

Norway is the home of the Vikings and the place where the gods were born and rested.

As time has passed, the legend of Asgard has gradually disappeared in the long history, replaced by the glory of Jesus.

As the last town in Northern Europe to give up belief in the gods, Edda seems to be born extraordinary, but it looks ordinary.

The snow-capped mountains tower into the clouds, and the glaciers and snow melt, forming mountain streams that eventually turn into a river.

The small town of Edda is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has been here for thousands of years. Things have changed, but the only things that remain unchanged are the mountain range called the Kinlenga Gap and the oldest family in Norway - the Yutu family.

On the asphalt road, boys and girls walk side by side.

"Iris, the new pair of brothers in town are very interesting. Have you met them?"

The girl is tall and has particularly brilliant blond hair. The freckles on her face not only do not show any flaws, but add a touch of life to her reddish cheeks.

She raised her head with a smile and looked at the handsome young man carrying a backpack.

"Meghan, that's not important..."

Iris raised his head and looked at a divine eagle flying in the sky.

His eyes narrowed, and there were whispers in his ears, like the whispers of the gods, or perhaps the echoes of time.

In Iris's eyes, the eagle transformed into another shape - an old woman wearing a black cloak, walking in the air holding a scepter.

He didn't say anything. In fact, he had seen quite a few strange things. What's more, he didn't want Meghan to worry.

"Iris, I mean, maybe you can live a little easier. At least, you don't need to work in a department store every day."

Megan bumped Iris's with her arm and smiled seemingly casually.

"Meghan, you know, I need this income..."

Iris was silent for a moment, quietly pressing the burning spot in his palm.

"I respect your choice, but there is no need for you to refuse my help. We are... friends, right?"

Megan raised her head and raised the corners of her mouth. The freckles on her fair face looked even more attractive under the sunlight.

"Yes, we are friends..."

Iris looked at the snow-capped mountains and murmured aimlessly.

……

As night falls, the dark night and the icy cold air intertwine, and there are only a few pedestrians on the road.

In the middle of winter, it started to rain for some unknown reason. The wide concrete road was already wet at this moment.

Iris stood in front of the bedroom window on the second floor, playing with the scarlet gemstone fragment in his palm.

"Illusion and reality, price and rules...what exactly are you?"

The chandelier on the ceiling flickered. He raised his hand and patted it. The light became stable as usual.

Even among Nordic people, Iris is considered tall. Raising his hand to touch the two-meter-high ceiling is nothing more than a common occurrence.

He continued to focus on the gem in his palm. Through the golden light, the edges and corners of the gem exuded a strange luster.

"what sound?"

He looked out the window.

zizi~

The light flickered again.

swoosh~~

An object flew past the window at a very fast speed. It passed through the high-voltage lines between the telephone poles and flew higher into the sky.

"hammer?!"

Iris subconsciously clutched the gem.

He had good dynamic vision, and he had already seen the true face from the blurry shadow like a windmill switch. The object that was faster than a bullet was clearly a short-handled hammer.

"Who threw it?"

Iris looked at the street in shock. The street lights were flickering. In the rain, a tall young man stood in the road and roared angrily.

Unfortunately, no one could hear me.

bang.

A roar of thunder covered the young man's rage and sadness.

Lightning was born from the sky above the Jinlunga Mountains, and the majestic power of dark silver bloomed, turning into a giant thunder tree growing diagonally.

A trace of arc fell down to the world.

The high-voltage wires were smoking and making a sizzling sound.

The light in Iris's bedroom went out, and the houses along the road fell into darkness one after another.

The lightning in the sky illuminated the world, and Iris saw the young man's face clearly.

"newcomer?"

Iris looked at his wet blond hair, which was in strands. Rain dripped down the man's frame and fell on his strong face.

"Thor."

Iris's eyes lit up, and a complex emotion mixed with sadness and joy suddenly sprouted in his heart.

The thunder and lightning disappeared without a trace, and the world fell completely into darkness.

Iris turned on the light of his mobile phone and ran downstairs. He picked up a long umbrella, pushed open the door, and headed towards the blond young man.

"Are you okay? I mean, you don't look good."

Iris opened the umbrella to cover the young man from the rain.

The blond young man didn't answer. He took off his glasses and threw them towards the roadside.

"Do you know Isolde?"

He turned his face sideways and looked at Iris abruptly.

Iris was stunned when he heard this, and he was silent for a moment before answering.

"I know her. She is very delicate, too delicate to look like a Nordic. What impressed me most was her nose ring, oh, and her sexual orientation."

The blond young man turned his head suddenly and looked directly at Iris, with a trace of imperceptible anger hidden in his dark blue eyes.

"She's just like me."

Iris looked at the young man calmly.

"What do you mean?"

The blond young man's anger dissipated somewhat.

"We are all looking for a truth. As for what this truth is, I think you should know."

Iris smiled and then looked at the empty house.

"Magna."

The blond young man extended the palm of his right hand.

"Iris."

Iris came to his senses, changed the umbrella to his left hand, and extended his right hand as well.

Magna squeezed out a smile on his stern face.

Iris also smiled, and the moment the two shook hands, the burning heat in the palm of his right hand became purer.

bang.

Thunder raged in the air again, and its majestic power seemed to be able to penetrate the entire world.

Iris suppressed the arc of thunder in his palm, without letting Magna notice any clues.

He finally knew the origin of the scarlet fragment.

Just like the authority of the gods, it is one of the most primitive and fundamental rules of another world. It is an artifact that can blur the truth and falsehood - it is a fragment of the reality gem!

This is a world without Marvel, there is no Stark Group, there are no good neighbors in New York, and there is no American butt.

No one knows why the Reality Stone broke, and no one knows how it came to this very different world.

It once lived in the treasure house of Asgard. It didn't want to go around in circles, but it came to the resting place of the Nordic gods again.

Iris forcibly suppressed the shock in his heart. He let go of his hand and looked at Magna seriously.

"Isolde...what happened to her?"

"She's dead."

Magna raised his head, but could only see the umbrella cover as dark as the night sky.
