Chapter 41 Visiting the Guidance and Mutual Aid Association

The headquarters of the Mutual Aid Association is located in the western suburbs of New York. It is a famous ancient castle and a large textile factory.

Since opening, I have been harassed by agents 1.3 times a day on average.

A place like this should obviously be sold to the rich for weekend mask-changing parties.

But now it employs [-] workers to weave cloth there?

Isn't this outrageous?

Of course, the agency friends don’t know that in every corner of this textile factory, there are weapons depots, healing baths, human sandbag boxing rooms, pork cold storages, and granny real corpse shooting ranges...

And a loom that can slightly predict the future…

As for those textile factory workers, if you throw a gun to the east, you can be hit in the head from the west.

In a simple word, the Mutual Aid Association is a mini version of the council, with all the necessary features, but the size and strength are far behind.

When the sun was almost overhead, Judge Laika arrived at the gate of the castle.

Driving the car given by Sloan, he did not shy away from suspicion.

Outside the gate of the castle, Sloan was already waiting, with no trace of impatience on his face.

Next to him stood a young man about the same age as Laika.

Compared with Sloan, the young man's face is much more smelly.

Seeing Laika approaching step by step, Sloan came forward with a smile.

"Mr. Scott, welcome to the mutual aid club!"

Sloan took the initiative to shake hands with Laika, "Don't be embarrassed, just treat this place as your home."

Laika raised her eyebrows, "Of course I won't be embarrassed. Our two families will soon become a family. Coming here is just like going home."

As soon as he finished speaking, Wesley's face fell completely.

It seems that he is one of those people who doesn't want to be a phoenix tail.

Coupled with his relationship with Firefox, he thought Laika killed Firefox...

Although the killer would have to pay back sooner or later if he came out, Wesley knew it, but he was still a human being after all, and he was still a hot-blooded young man. How could he have no grudge against Laika?

"This young man's name is Wesley Gibson."

Sloan introduced, "Mr. Scott, you are the Council's Rookie of the Year, and Wesley is our Mutual Aid Association's Rookie of the Year."

"Ah, I have heard that Mr. Gibson grew from an office clerk to a first-class killer in a short period of time and made great contributions to the mutual aid association."

Of course Laika knew about Wesley.

He is the protagonist of this Gada.

And strictly speaking, Wesley is not completely mortal.

He can significantly increase his heart rate and secrete a large amount of adrenaline, allowing him to briefly gain speed and explosive power comparable to the captain of the United States.

This is a family trait and cannot be learned by others.

Laika took the initiative to reach out to Wesley. Seeing that he didn't respond, he still smiled.

"I heard that your father was just killed by Cross who betrayed the mutual aid association. Please express my condolences. I am willing to assist you in revenge."

After hearing this, Wesley's frosty face melted a little, and he reached out his hand and shook Laika gently.

Sloan didn't expect Laika to be so active and really have a relationship with the die-hards in the mutual aid association.

This further convinced him that Laika was sincere in cooperating.

The vigilance in my heart lowered a bit.

"Mr. Scott, it's hot outside, why don't we talk inside?"

"Great, I've wanted to visit your textile factory for a long time."

Laika walked into the textile factory with Sloan.

Under Sloan's guidance, Laika saw many familiar faces.

The butcher who uses a knife instead of a gun, the repairman who enjoys beating people, and the Russian who plays with mice.

Although everyone was hostile to Laika, they did not get angry.

Like Wesley, they knew in their hearts that everyone was a killer. Firefox and Gunsmith went out to kill people but failed and were killed instead. This was because their skills were inferior to others, and there was nothing to say.

So although he was hostile to Laika, he didn't go to the extent of drawing a gun against him.

Of course, they are also afraid of the identity of the judge of the Laika Council.

Killing the Inquisitor would be tantamount to declaring war on the Council.

Laika always smiled, listened carefully to Sloan's work report, highly praised the mutual aid association's hard work, and shook hands with everyone cordially.

He also delivered an important speech.

"Can you take me to see the loom?"

Hearing Laika mention the loom, all the entourage pricked up their ears.

This is what they regard as life.

Whether the council can successfully merge with the mutual aid association depends entirely on the ownership of this loom.

"sorry, can not."

Sloan was categorical, "The Loom of Destiny is the fundamental meaning of the mutual aid association's existence, and no one can touch it."

Except for Sloan himself.

On the surface, Sloan is trying to preserve his dignity for the Mutual Aid Association, but in reality he is a thief with a guilty conscience.

Since a long time ago, Sloane has stopped killing people according to the instructions of the loom.

Although he hid it well, even though Laika should be on his side and not expose his background.

But...I'm always afraid.

What if Laika asked Sloan to translate the new name spit out by the loom in front of everyone, and that name happened to be Sloan himself?

Others in the fraternity were also alert.

They have always regarded themselves as the executors of destiny, and the loom is more important than life to many of them.

Fortunately, Laika was very cooperative.

"Oh, sorry, sorry, what I said was inappropriate."

Laika waved his hand, "Actually, the council respects your loyalty to the loom and supports you in continuing to act according to the instructions of the loom."

As soon as this statement came out, everyone in the hall was shocked.

Wesley asked later: "You mean, the council won't take away our looms?"

"That's what I mean."

Laika shrugged, "The Council never kills in the name of fate, we kill only for money."

This is true and why Laika prefers the Council.

As long as there is money to be made, I can kill whoever I want. It is a matter of fate.

At this moment...the killers of the mutual aid association felt relieved.

"Then...what do we have to pay?" Wesley then asked.

"The skills of arc marksmanship and healing baths, and...your loyalty."

"Please be more specific."

"You must execute the assassination targets given by the loom. This council will not interfere, but you must also execute the assassination targets given by the council. Then you must abide by the rules of the council, and..."

Laika scratched her head, "Oh...it seems like that's all."

Everyone was dumbfounded...

This condition is so good that it’s unbelievable.

Arc marksmanship and healing baths are not remarkable technologies in the world.

If the board of directors asks you to kill people, just kill them. Anyway, you will get money if you kill them.

As for the rules of the board of directors, aren't they that killing is not allowed in the Continental Hotel, and blood contracts must be honored?

To put it bluntly, the workload will be higher than now, there will be more rules, and the mutual aid will change from one company to a department of another company.

But still maintain a high degree of independence.

Considering that the price of rejection is life, this is a price that both members of the mutual aid association can easily accept.

Sloan was very satisfied with Laika, but I don’t know how he persuaded the council to let the mutual aid association keep the loom.

No matter what, Laika's conditions are enough for [-]% of the mutual aid association members to accept.

However, there are still desires that are hard to satisfy.

"Then...what can we get?" asked the fat butcher.

"High income, high benefits, five insurances and one housing fund, needless to say."

Laika smiled confidently, "In addition, to show my sincerity, I am willing to give you a big gift."

"What gift?"

"I will kill the traitors from the Mutual Aid Society for you, Cross!"
