Chapter 28 Osborne Tower

The Osborne Group Building is not far from the court. After arriving, Laika found Catherine waiting at the gate.

Many people who came in and out actually greeted her with a smile when they saw her.

"Hi, Katherine."

"Hey Tom, were the kids fussy last night?"

"Your method worked. As soon as the child sleeps until dawn, I will treat you to dinner later."

"Of course, I'll wait for your message~~~"

Laika looked at it for a while.

...Although penetrating into the enemy's interior is an essential skill for a top-notch thief...

It just feels a little weird.

After seeing Laika, Catherine raised her eyebrows: "Why are you standing there in a daze? Aren't you in a hurry?"

"Oh, right." Laika nodded and followed Catherine into the building.

"It seems like you're having a good time here... I don't know how to describe it."

"It's hard to describe, it's harmonious."

Catherine pointed in the direction of the door, "That dad has been to the top floor of the building three times just now. If you don't get familiar with him, how can you find out about the structure of the top floor."

"...sharp."

"It's now time, don't flatter me, let's talk as we go."

Catherine took out an employee card and handed it to Laika, "From now on, your name is Ace Pinas."

"...Why bother."

Catherine snorted softly: "Who told you to give me half a month, and now you regret it?"

"Okay...then what's your name?"

"My name is Catherine Kyle." Catherine clicked the employee card on her chest.

Damn, everything from the name to the photo belongs to Catherine.

This was not at all the Gwen Stacey employee card that Laika gave her.

"I only used the employee card you gave me once. After entering the Osborne Building and tampering with the employee database, I used my real name."

Catherine winked at Laika, "The person walking beside you now is the senior legal advisor of the Osborne Group."

...There are so many fake lawyers these days.

While talking, the two of them had swiped their cards to enter the Osborne Building.

There was no obstacle, and the security guard watching the door smiled flatteringly at Catherine.

Catherine smiled brightly back.

As soon as he turned his head, he immediately pulled his face off, took Laika away from the crowd, and walked to the small cubicle on the side of the building.

There is only one elevator here, and you can tell from the decoration that it is not used by ordinary employees.

Catherine pressed the button and the elevator doors opened immediately.

"Go in, the elevator won't bite."

"Oh~~~"

While the elevator was rising, Catherine took out her cell phone and operated it fiercely while explaining to Laika.

"This is Norman Osborne's private elevator, which goes straight to the top floor. I have tampered with the database and monitoring. The people in the monitoring room can't see anyone in the elevator at all."

"What about the surveillance on the top floor? Was it tampered with by you too?"

Catherine shook her head: "There is no surveillance on the top floor. Do you think Norman Osborn is stupid?"

That's right... there are so many activities there, how can anyone take pictures of them?

"But this doesn't mean there's no danger on the top floor. It's just that I haven't found out the specific danger yet, so I called you here. You can protect me and leave if something happens."

Catherine sighed: "I originally planned to spend a week tampering with the data and monitoring, and another week to thoroughly understand the structure and security of the top floor. Now I have no chance to take the second step..."

"So...we're going to go into the dark later?"

"Yeah, especially since I still haven't got one of the most important pieces of information."

"what?"

"The password for Norman Osborne's personal computer. I don't even know what password the computer uses, and I don't know how to crack it."

Catherine curled her lips, "Now we can only adapt to circumstances."

After holding it in for a long time, Laika said in a mosquito-like voice: "Sorry."

Catherine pouted, pretending to be cute and angry.

"Should I say now, 'Add more money! Add more money and go out!'"

"...You could say that Laika owes Catherine one more time."

Catherine winked mischievously.

"Aim~"

With a 'ding' sound, the door opened.

Laika quickly drew his pistol.

In this case, if you encounter a guard, you can only kill and retreat at the same time.

But luckily, no one was outside.

It was very dark outside the elevator door. The corridors extended to both sides, and the walls were lined with thick steel doors.

Considering that there is an electric man imprisoned behind one of the doors, I'm afraid there won't be anything good behind the other doors either.

This doesn't look like a billionaire's office.

It's more like a cellar where perverted slaves are imprisoned.

Catherine became excited. After looking around, she led Laika through the corridors.

Her ears are very sensitive, and she can always accurately detect the patroller's footsteps, avoid them in time, and just lead Laika forward.

With the little information I got and the thief's intuition, I quickly found Norman's office.

It’s also the only place on the top floor that looks a bit human.

Catherine leaned against the door and listened. After making sure there was no movement inside, she opened the door carefully.

There was no one there either.

"For now...it's going well...right?"

"Go away." Catherine smiled crookedly, "It went very well. Please pour me a glass of wine."

"As ordered."

While Laika was pouring wine, Catherine had already turned on the computer.

'Mr Osborne, please verify your biometric information to unlock the system. '

"Well...it's a biometric code."

"What does that mean?"

"It is a password verification device that combines voiceprint, retinal DNA and other biological information. To put it simply, the system will only be unlocked if a real person talks, spits, etc. in front of the detector."

"Wow... so advanced..."

Shit.

A far cry from Jarvis.

Cracking the password was obviously more complicated than imagined. Catherine kept typing on the keyboard, entering pieces of code that looked like ghost drawings, and her expression became more and more serious.

After a while, he breathed a sigh of relief, picked up the wine glass and drank it all in one gulp.

"Done?" Laika asked excitedly.

"Can't handle it."

"what?"

Catherine was a little discouraged: "This system is much more rigorous than the CIA's system. If you give me a week to prepare, maybe it can be done, but now..."

"I know, I know, it's my fault."

"Tch, I don't blame you." Catherine laughed, "Since we can't go in secretly, we can only go in openly."

Laika's eyes narrowed: "You shouldn't be thinking about tying Norman Osborne over to unlock it, right?"

If he could do this, he might as well just kill the Green Goblin.

Catherine blinked and called up the system prompt tone again:

'Mr Osborne, please verify your biometric information to unlock the system. '

Laika was stunned and understood.

The system is talking about Mr. Osborne, not Norman Osborne!

"Harry Osborne..."

"Yes, Norman's son also has the authority to unlock the system."

After being reminded by Catherine, Laika suddenly felt that it made sense.

Even after being completely transformed into the Green Goblin, Harry Osborn still occupies an important position in Norman's heart.

Therefore, it is entirely possible that he has considered leaving the Osborne Group's most confidential technology and information to his son if he dies.

Catherine raised her eyebrows: "Harry is in Osborne Tower. I have eighteen ways to get him to come over and help me unlock the system."

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go find him quickly."

Laika was about to take Catherine out.

Sudden.

Footsteps came from outside the door.

The door handle was turned open! ! !
