Marvel's Psyker

Chapter 213

Lynch knocked lightly on the door, but there was no response.

Lynch twisted the doorknob, and as expected, the door was locked.

Lynch did not continue to knock on the door, but came to the window in the stairwell, leaned out of the window, and could see that the window of Peter's room was open.

"It's that simple."

Lynch jumped out of the window and grabbed the wall of the house with his hands. With a shake of his figure, Lynch swung himself over.

Grabbing the window of Peter's room, Lynch turned into Peter's room with both hands.

Peter in the room was obviously frightened by the stranger who suddenly broke in through the window. He froze in place, and it took several seconds for him to react.

"Who are you!"

Lynch took the chair in front of the desk, sat down on his own, and replied: "My name is Lynch, and I'm your uncle's friend. You shut yourself in the room, and Ben and May are very worried about you, so I just come and see."

Peter pointed to the window, "But why can you turn in through the window? I'm on the second floor!"

Lynch spread his hands and said with a smile: "It's very simple, do you want to learn?"

"Forget it! I know I don't have this ability."

Peter's mood suddenly became depressed, "Besides, I'm thinking about things now, and I just want to be alone for a while."

After that, Peter turned around on his own.

Lynch walked to his side and followed his gaze.

One wall of the room was densely covered with various papers. Some are old yellowed photos, some are old newspapers that have long expired, some are small slips of paper that record information and text, and some are maps of various places in New York, with marks made with different colored markers on them.

Different information is connected by lines and arrows of different colors, and some of them are marked and remarked.

"You did this?"

"It's amazing!"

Listening to Lynch's praise, Peter was obviously a little happy and embarrassed. But he still suppressed the emotions in his heart, pretending to be nonchalant and said: "What's so great about it, it's useless anyway."

Lynch observed the information on the wall and found that many of them were related to a name.

【Richard Parker】

Lynch stared.

"Are you doing research and analysis? Are you looking for this person?"

Listening to Lynch's words, Peter sighed and sat on the bed.

"Since you are Uncle Ben's friend, you should know that I am not Uncle Ben's son, right?"

Lynch nodded, "Yes, he told me about you."

"Uncle Ben treats me very well, he is like my father! Even sometimes, I think he treats me better than my real father."

"But······"

When Peter said this, he looked a little hesitant.

Lynch patted him on the shoulder and sat beside him.

"If you don't want to say it, then don't say it."

Peter shook his head, "It's nothing."

"Uncle Ben and Aunt Mei are very good to me, but sometimes I can't help but think about my biological parents, where are they?"

"Why can they throw a five-year-old child into their brother's house and then ignore it for more than ten years?"

"What the hell are they doing? Can't they even come back and see their only son and spend Christmas with him?"

"In school, many people called me a wild child without parents. I wanted to refute, but I didn't know how to say it."

"There was a parent-teacher meeting in the class, and Uncle Ben was busy. The parents of all the students in the class came, even Harry's father who was so busy that he didn't come home once for half a month came too!"

"I was sitting in my seat, you know? I felt so ashamed! I just wanted to find a crack in the floor!"

"In the end, it was Uncle Ben who turned down the matter and rushed over."

"One more time..."

Peter became more and more excited.

It seems that I don't want to complain about these things to my uncles and aunts on weekdays. I have been suppressed for too long and feel too uncomfortable.

After meeting Lynch as a listener this time, Peter confided to Lynch his dissatisfaction with his parents, his loneliness, and the grievances he suffered in life and school.

Lynch didn't stop the boy, just listened quietly.Give him a smile or encouragement once in a while.

Lynch knew that for boys, such things are usually reluctant to tell those close to them.

Because boys are often afraid that doing so will reveal their weakness to those close to them.To some, this is a sign of cowardice.

They don't want to.

In contrast, a stranger like Lynch who is willing to listen may be the best choice to act as a tree hole.

After an unknown amount of time, Peter seemed to be tired. He stopped, looked up and looked around, and his eyes met Lynch's smile.

"Feeling better?"

"Well, much better, thank you!"

Peter seemed a little embarrassed and scratched his hair.

"I'm sorry to make you listen to me complaining so much."

"It's okay, anyway, Mei's dinner will be ready in a while, so let's treat it as a pre-dinner activity."

"Then you are blessed! Aunt Mei's craftsmanship is amazing!" Peter said with a smile.

Lynch frowned, "That's what Ben said too! Looks like I'm really lucky tonight!"

While talking, there was a sudden grunt in Peter's stomach, which made Peter blush.

Lynch smiled, "If you're hungry, let's go downstairs to eat together! If the food gets cold and then reheated, the taste won't be as good as it used to be."

Peter lowered his head in embarrassment, "But I told Aunt May half an hour ago that I won't eat dinner, and the tone was not very good, if I go down now..."

"What's that!"

"Don't you say that Aunt Mei is like your mother? How can a mother be angry with her own child?"

Lynch's words seemed to have touched Peter.

"That, Lynch?"

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"Do you think I'm bad?"

Lynch froze for a moment, then shook his head, "No! Why do you think so?"

"As you said, Uncle Ben and Aunt Mei have treated me so well. They treat me like their own son. But..."

Peter hesitated for a moment before slowly speaking, "But I've been trying to find my biological parents."

"Do you think they will be sad?"

Lynch thought about this question for a while before slowly answering: "I don't think so!"

"why?"

"Because they love you!"
