Battle of Pirates Bear Roar

Chapter 8 Locke’s little thoughts

Sailer is located in the back seven areas on the periphery, making it convenient for guests to visit directly.

The first six districts are in the inner center, where the sunlight is taken away by the upper districts, and they rely on street lights for lighting all year round.

The lighting is cold, making the place look even colder. Only the neon lights of the shops can bring warmth.

Locke and Mihawk went together to District [-], a clothing store, a furniture store, a restaurant, and a bath and massage parlor.

Various shops are lined up and people are coming and going on the street, which looks very lively.

Locke excitedly entered a clothing store, but soon came out disappointed.

The clothes that I thought of were not the right size.

Suitable clothes, but too tacky.

I visited several clothing stores in a row and it was always like this.

Locke feels that the world is filled with ill will toward bears.

Bears also need to wear clothes

Wouldn't it be abnormal to not wear clothes?

At this point, even if it's a gamble, Locke has to buy suitable clothes.

Walking from District [-] to District [-], Locke stood in front of a high-end-looking clothing store.

The tone of the store is cold, with soft violin music playing, and two slender female clerks looking at every customer who wants to come in with a smile.

"This store does not allow pets to enter."

Seeing Locke walking up, the female clerk on the left said to Mihawk with an apologetic expression.

Locke said: "I am not a pet, I am a guest."

"The bear can talk." The two female shop assistants hugged each other in fright, then realized what they were doing and bowed in unison to apologize.

Locke waved his paw and said, "It doesn't matter, I'll just come in and see if there are any suitable clothes."

The female clerk smiled and said: "Our store provides private customization. If you have clothes you like or want to make clothes, our store can satisfy you."

"Oh, that's really convenient." Locke was overjoyed. He walked around the store and spotted a brown cowhide vest, denim shorts, a belt, and high boots with gears on the back.

Without exception, all of them were not of the right size, so the tailors and shoemakers in the store took Locke's body measurements and customized them.

The price is doubled and you can get it after an hour.

Mihawk also bought a windbreaker, which was overall black with burgundy patterned sleeves.

He likes patterned clothes.

"Now that you've finished your clothes, it's time to eat. After spending all day eating fish without seasoning at sea, it's time to improve your food."

Locke wiped his mouth, then took Mihawk and ran into a high-end restaurant and found a table to sit down.

The waitress walked to the side and said, "Welcome to our store, what do you two need?"

"Let me take a look," Locke picked up the menu and opened it. The first page was a fruit platter, including apples, honeydew melons, watermelons, strawberries, etc.

Locke wasn't too interested and scanned the price, "Hey. I'll go, you're a black shop, right? A plate of fruit costs [-] beli."

The waitress smiled slightly and said: "The customer is from out of town, right? Our middle class in Sailer have no land. Fruits and vegetables are very expensive here."

Locke understood that the rarer things are more valuable. Looking back, the prices of fish and shrimp dishes are more reasonable.

"Ten portions of this, twenty portions of that, thirty portions of this"

Locke ordered a lot and found that the waitress looked very ugly. She didn't feel happy at all about meeting a big customer. He asked doubtfully: "Why don't you remember it?"

The waitress forced a smile and said, "Guest, please don't joke."

Not even a pig can eat that much food.

Locke placed the money box on the table and opened it.

The waitress's face changed instantly, "Sorry, I'll ask the kitchen to make it right away. Please wait a moment."

Locke sighed: "No wonder some people like to show off their wealth. It feels particularly comfortable when they slap people in the face with money."

Mihawk said calmly: "That's my money."

Locke took the opportunity and said: "So if you don't get on my ship, wouldn't it be a loss in the future?"

"I do not care."

A great swordsman like Mihawk never needs to worry about running out of money. The pirates offer a bounty of [-] million beli if they catch a few of them.

His appetite is not as terrifying as Locke's.

As for clothes, he pursues his own fashionable style, usually wearing two-piece sets and changing them in turns.

Only if your clothes get damaged during a battle will you consider changing your clothes.

The food at sea basically depends on fish. What he really needs is fresh water and fruits.

Both prices are not expensive on other normal islands.

"I won't be a pirate, so you should give up."

Locke chuckled and said: "You will definitely join my pirate group. By the way, how about we make a bet. If you become a pirate, you must be my partner."

This is considered cheating by taking advantage of the prophet.

The king is in the Shichibukai, how can he be recruited if he is not a pirate?

Mihawk nodded and said: "Okay, if I become a pirate, I will join your pirate group. If not, you can't keep chasing me."

"Haha, yes, next time we set off, I will grab a boat and wait for you to come over."

Locke laughed.

Mihawk also showed a rare smile, "That's just for catching you in exchange for a bounty."

"No, you will be my partner." Locke said firmly.

Mihawk did not continue to dwell on this issue. He was a man of faith and believed in the existence of fate.

If he made it clear that he didn't want to be a pirate, he would become one later.

It can only be said that fate made him join Locke.

"What is the name of your pirate group?" Mihawk realized that he had never asked.

Locke was slightly stunned and said: "It's called the War Bear Pirates."

Mihawk thought this name was really cheesy, "It really suits your style."

"Haha, don't praise me like that." Locke scratched the side of his face.

Free desserts were served before the meal. Locke tasted them and found them delicious, especially the jelly-like ones with orange juice in them.

Mihawk ate a little of those desserts, but Locke ate most of them.

Then, the dishes were served one after another.

Locke fully explained what wildness means, picked up the plate and poured it directly into his mouth.

Locke grasped the knives and forks prepared in the restaurant like toothpicks, twirling them with his claws and eating them, one piece at a time, so small that it fit between his teeth.

Between image and good food, Locke chooses the latter.

Click, click, several large shrimps were chewed up with their shells, and the soup was mixed with the tender shrimp meat.

“It’s so delicious. It’s better than anything I’ve ever eaten before.”

Locke shouted.

Mihawk calmly cut open the steak and said, "Eat as you please, don't spill the soup, it will be difficult for others to clean up later."

"Hmm," Locke nodded, trying his best to digest the soup in his mouth without splashing outside.

The empty plates were stacked one on top of the other, and the surfaces were cleaner than they had ever been washed.

Apparently Locke licked it with his tongue to prevent it from going to waste.

The waitress couldn't close her mouth when she saw it. It was more edible than a pig.

"Hiccup~~" Locke made a loud voice, looking at the table full of dishes and ordering too much, "Mihawk, you should eat some too."

Mihawk took a sip of wine and said: "My appetite is not as big as yours, you can't eat it."

Locke waved his claws and said: "Let me slow down, I can eat it later."

Pfft, someone laughed out loud, "I haven't been here for a while, and the quality of this restaurant has also dropped. They don't even serve this kind of thing."
