Chapter 28 I’m here to deliver homework to your son

Jonson returned to the room, slammed the door, and leaned back against the door.

My heart was pounding in my chest.

After so many years, he felt the frightening feeling again.

Looking at the familiar yet unfamiliar room, Jonson didn't know who to trust anymore.

No one can trust me, so I went to find out the truth myself. Jonson felt furious.

Find the safe in your room and take out all the guns and cash.

Without stopping, without saying anything to anyone, he just left the house.

He wanted to find out the reason for all this, what happened to Eugene and why Horace knew so much

........

Outside some shabby neighborhoods, a few Irish thugs smoked cigarettes and scanned the surrounding crowd.

Hell's Kitchen is not as busy during the day as it is at night. There are not many people on the streets, only some thugs are watching.

Jonson tightened his windbreaker and wore a mask as he walked on the path of Hell's Kitchen.

The virus is raging here recently, and many people are wearing masks. Jonsson wears a mask not to prevent the virus, but to conceal his identity.

A big Irish man standing on the street looked at Jonson suspiciously.

Windbreaker, hat, mask, suspicious person.

The strong Irish man was about to step forward to stop Jonson and question him.

Two thin figures walked out of the street corner.

The childish face, the clean and delicate hands, the careful movements when whispering.

A word quickly popped into his mind, fat sheep

The Irishman gave up on Jonson and walked towards Al and Peter with a ferocious smile.

"Al, why did we come to Block 36? I heard the security here is very bad." Peter said as he carefully looked at the nearby streets.

The walls of the neighborhood are covered with graffiti expressing violence, which makes people feel a little depressed.

"You've become stronger, and you're still so cowardly. I'm here to find someone." It was also Al's first time in Hell's Kitchen.

He was also very curious about Hell's Kitchen. He heard that the sins of New York were gathered here.

But when he looked around, he saw that there were more graffiti and fewer people here. It was not the scene he imagined where gangs were running rampant and blood and mutilated limbs were everywhere.

"Are you looking for Eugene? He is here," Peter guessed.

"No, I came to see one of my enemies. That person almost killed me."

Al is going to find Matt the Night Stalker.

Although Matt almost killed him at school last time, facing Eugene as his enemy, he really couldn't think of where else to get help.

The Irishman quickly came to the two of them, "Stop, what are you two doing and why are you here."

The fierce expression startled Peter before they could answer.

The Irishman smiled again: "Kids, this is not a place for you to come. I will teach you why this place is called Hell's Kitchen, two little lambs, haha."

As soon as the Irishman grabbed hold of them, he would wrap his arms around the necks of Peter and Al at the same time, preparing to drag them to a dark corner and rob them.

Jonson on the side also stopped and turned his head to look this way.

He didn't come to help and act bravely. He didn't care about the things that happened every day in Hell's Kitchen.

However, he just vaguely heard Eugene's name from the two children.

Jonson squinted his eyes, leaned against the wall, and looked at the two people quietly to see what they were going to do.

The sudden attack by the Irish startled Peter, and subconsciously, Peter kicked him out.

The muscular man weighing more than 180 pounds was kicked in the stomach. He flew out like a curled up shrimp and lay on the ground. He roared in pain twice and stopped moving.

Peter: That's it...

Al whispered: "Restrain your strength and be careful not to cause death."

Hell's Kitchen was really chaotic, and Al didn't expect that just after he lamented the security of Hell's Kitchen, someone would come forward to cause trouble.

"Let's go, we still have to find someone."

Peter scratched his head and muttered in a low voice: "I don't want to do this either. My feet moved on their own."

Jonson, who was watching this scene from the side, gasped.

But he followed anyway, he wanted to see what the relationship between these two people was with Eugene.

Al and Peter walked slowly in front. When they saw a law firm, they would go in and look for it.

Jonson followed them, silently watching their strange behavior.

No one comes to Hell's Kitchen specifically to get a lawyer, no one.

Most of the lawyers in Hell's Kitchen do not have lawyer licenses. Lawyers are just a disguise for their identities. In private, they rely on money and bribes to help gangsters get away with crimes.

The two students came here to find a lawyer, and they obviously had other purposes.

Suddenly, Al stopped and shouted: "Come out, what are you going to do after staying with us for so long? You are from the Kenha Gang."

Jonson followed the two of them to four or five law firms. No matter how slow Al was, he discovered something was wrong.

The masked man behind him would look around not far away when they went to the law firm. His gaze seemed to be unintentional, but he often glanced at the two people.

And every time Jonson turned his head, Al could feel a sense of peeping.

Originally thought it was related to the Irishman who fell to the ground, but Al discovered that this man was not only following them secretly, but also avoiding others.

Moreover, this suspicious attire undoubtedly dispelled the relationship with the Irishman from before.

Then why is this person following these two people?

Robbery was impossible, and he also saw Peter's strength. No fool would rob someone he couldn't defeat.

There must be something about the two of them that attracts him.

Al thought for a moment. Peter mentioned Eugene's name when the two of them were chatting.

And Eugene is a member of the Kenha Gang, so this person is probably related to the Kenha Gang.

Al's thoughts and logic were complete and clear. Since Casey stopped devouring his memories, he felt like a snake waking up from hibernation.

My memory is getting better and my thoughts are getting clearer.

Just like when faced with the emergency situation of Peter's gene fusion before, he might have been nervous and at a loss before, but at that time he accurately found a solution to the problem and carried it out firmly.

These are things he couldn't do before.

Jonson, the man in the trench coat, saw that he was discovered by Al and slowly walked out of the corner.

"I was just on the roadside and overheard you talking about Eugene. I am a member of the Kenha Gang, my name is Horace. Why are you looking for Eugene?" Jonson said in a straight-faced manner.

Al's eyes flashed, he remembered this voice

This was the voice of another person who spoke when he called Eugene.

Jonson

The boss of the Kenha Gang

But why is he dressed like this?

Still hiding on your own territory

"We are classmates of Eugene. Eugene didn't go to class. The teacher asked me to send homework to Eugene." Al was also talking nonsense.

"That's it, then let me help you bring your homework to Eugene." Jonson said with a smile, took two steps forward and came to Al.

Jonson looked at Al, and Al looked at Jonson.

Jonson suddenly laughed, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at Al's head.

He turned back, putting Al between him and Peter.

"Al" Peter exclaimed, his form suddenly changed, and he didn't react at all.

He said fiercely: "Boy, who are you lying to? You still have homework. You two don't have bags on your back. You don't seem to have brought anything with you."

Al, who had the gun pointed at his head, did not panic and said: "Why didn't you bring it? Uncle, you are behind the times. I brought a USB flash drive and gave Eugene a piece of homework."

"Furthermore, it seems that I have been treated as a weakling. Uncle, you said that I have no skills. Why do I come here alone?" Al said eloquently.

Jonson was not frightened, "Boy, stop talking nonsense, what are you doing here with Eugene?"

Al didn't answer, but started humming a song.

Peter looked at Al in confusion. The song was not in English, just some weird and rhythmic syllables.

He seemed to have heard this weird song somewhere, and it felt inexplicably familiar.

Then, Peter suddenly felt a palpitation in his heart, and his crisis warning suddenly started to alarm, telling him that there was a strong dangerous atmosphere not far in front of him.

Spider nerves kept reminding him to escape.

Peter's teeth were trembling a little as he looked at the open space ahead.

Vaguely, he seemed to see a huge black shadow more than two meters tall, standing behind Al.

This black shadow is the creature that Al imitated the song he heard from Eugene and hummed the same syllables.

It's just that the black shadow summoned by Al is different from the chicken-sized shadow summoned by Eugene.

But like a giant, very tall.

As soon as he appeared, without even touching Jonson, all his movements were frozen and he was completely unable to move.

There was only one pair of eyes, flashing back and forth with frightened gaze.

The black shadow stood quietly behind Al, not moving.

After all, Al only secretly learned the spell to summon this black shadow.

He didn't know why the huge black shadow he summoned was so different, obviously many times more powerful than the little chicken summoned by Eugene.

Not only that, after the spell stopped, the huge black shadow did not lose control like the little chicken before, and was at a loss.

Al had an idea that this dark figure was waiting for his next order.

At this moment, Jonson, who was stiff and extremely nervous, also discovered the source of that familiar feeling.

This kid was the one who called Eugene that night

The mysterious boy who tricked me
