Dynavale and Hogwarts

Chapter 0101 Battle at the Duel Club

Christmas vacation is only a week away, and everyone is in no mood to learn and chatting about the holidays.

At the breakfast table, Dana read in an inconspicuous corner of the newspaper the report of the Ministry of Magic's raid on Malfoy Manor. The report stated that no illegal items were found. Malfoy then lodged a protest with the Ministry of Magic.

Dana was not surprised to read this news. It would be really surprising if the Ministry found something.

Dana came to the library and found that there were not many people in the library, and it suddenly became empty.

Near noon, Dana packed up his notes, said goodbye to Mrs. Pince, and rushed to the restaurant.

As he walked into the foyer, Dana saw a group of people gathered around the bulletin board, talking excitedly to each other.

Ernie squeezed out from the crowd, saw Dana, smiled and waved, then approached Dana and said: "The school is going to open a duel club. The first meeting is at eight o'clock tonight. I don't know who it is yet. The professor is in charge, I’ll go and find out.”

After saying that, he hurriedly set off and walked away.

Dana shook his head. Really, he was about to tell him that the professor in charge was none other than Professor Lockhart, who had just returned from the latest round of book signings with great honors.

I don't know how surprised my roommates will be when they find out.

Dana played it safe and decided not to reveal the news before eight o'clock in the evening.

Walking to the dining table and sitting among the roommates, everyone was discussing the Duel Club and guessing who would be the professor in charge.

Justin was the first to speak: "It should be Professor Flitwick, he was a dueling champion."

"That's not necessarily true. Didn't you hear Gabrielle say that Professor Snape is the most powerful when dealing with werewolves." Zacharias had a different idea.

Wolfgang said quietly: "As long as it's not Professor Lockhart, I guess Mrs. Pince is better than him."

"Dana, who are you talking about?" Justin realized that Dana didn't say anything and asked him specifically.

Dana was chewing on the chicken drumstick, and he had to wait until he swallowed it before saying, "I don't know, maybe it's someone I haven't seen before."

"Bang" Dana was unanimously despised by his roommates.

Finally at eight o'clock, Dana walked into the hall and squeezed in beside her roommate. The dining table disappears and there is a stage against the wall with hundreds of candles floating above.

When the little badgers saw Lockhart walking onto the stage in all his glory, they all let out a lament, which was so loud that Professor Snape, who was following Professor Lockhart, glared at them fiercely.

Lockhart thought everyone was cheering for him and waved in a friendly direction.

Dana watched the face-changing contest among his roommates with some mischievousness. The first place in Dana's heart was Wolfgang. The dark-skinned boy just rolled his eyes and was about to fly out of the sky.

In second place was the roommate with a very strange presence. His disappointed lamentation actually broke the magic and made Dana notice him. But if he didn't pay attention, Dana couldn't pay attention to him. It was even more magical than being invisible.

There was a "bang", and Dana looked towards the stage. Professor Lockhart was hit by Snape's curse and hit the wall hard. The wand also flew high.

Dana saw a girl rushing forward bravely, grabbing the wand before everyone else, caressing it carefully, and then trembling with excitement and reluctantly returned the wand to Professor Lockhart.

Dana was impatient to listen to Professor Lockhart's flattering words. As soon as the groups were announced, Dana formed a pair with Justin and started the usual exercises: Dana continued to attack with "Petrification", and Justin Sting took out his notebook from his crossbody bag and activated it to resist.

While practicing, I heard someone laughing wildly. Dana and Justin stopped the spell and looked over curiously. It turned out to be Malfoy, and Harry was dancing a quickstep next to him, but his limbs were stiff and he was a terrible backup dancer.

Lockhart screamed "stop, stop," but obviously he didn't know what to do, and Snape ended the dramatic scene with a "stop!"

Finally, at Snape's suggestion, Harry and Malfoy stood on the stage to show everyone "how to stop unfriendly magic."

Dana stared at the tip of Malfoy's staff, trying to figure out whether the "Oolong Out of the Hole" spell summoned a snake out, or turned it into a snake out of thin air.

"Out of the hole" a long black snake landed between the two of them, with its head raised high, spitting a snake message at Harry, as if it would attack at any time.

Dana's spirit swept over the black snake. It was a real black snake, not a demonic creature. Transfiguration cannot create a soul, so this snake was not conjured out of thin air, but summoned.

"Let me do it." Lockhart's roar made Dana recover from his thoughts, and he saw Lockhart's wand waving in a fancy way, making a loud noise, and the snake was bounced high, then fell down, just landing on Dana. Not far from Na and Justin.

The snake seemed a little angry, showed its fangs, and was about to attack Justin. Dana pulled out his wand and heard Harry make a strange noise, which was creepy.

Dana knew in his heart that Harry was stopping the Black Snake's attack, but it was too late. "Return to Nothingness" had been completed. Dana pointed at the Black Snake, and the Black Snake disappeared. Snape looked at Dana in surprise.

Justin shouted angrily at Harry: "What tricks do you think you are playing?" and then angrily walked out of the auditorium, with Dana, Ernie and other roommates chasing after him.

Dana felt that there was a big misunderstanding. Dana knew that Harry was trying to stop the black snake from attacking, but he happened to have completed the spell and had to turn the snake away.

In other people's eyes, it looked like Harry urged the snake to attack, but he stepped forward and made the snake disappear for Justin's sake.

As Ernie walked, he muttered: "I didn't expect that Harry still has a Parseltongue. This is rare. I think Harry is the heir of Slytherin. You know, he is the only one in the school who is a Parseltongue like Slytherin." .

"Also, in the first herbal medicine class of the school year, Justin was in his group and told him that he was a Muggle. Was it Dana, you were there at that time."

Dana nodded helplessly, Ernie was telling the truth. But I still added: "This doesn't mean anything. There are many Muggle-born students in the school, and I am also a Muggle-born."

Ernie said meaningfully: "Always pick the weakest one from the herd. Dana, Justin is not as popular with the professor as you are, and he doesn't know as many magic spells as you, so choose him, no Choose you."

Dana was unable to refute. It seems that Harry will not be able to take off the hat of Successor of the Chamber of Secrets for a while.

The main reason is that Harry's snake language is too noticeable. This characteristic that is similar to Slytherin but different from ordinary people makes the selection of the successor almost certain.

Even the second monster attack, which had nothing to do with Harry, was found by Ernie.

"Harry got tired of Colin constantly taking pictures of him, so he asked the monster to petrify Colin. I know he was lying in a hospital bed, but that didn't stop him from ordering the monster to do it."
