Dynavale and Hogwarts

Chapter 0015 The admission notice arrived as scheduled

Several years passed by in a blink of an eye. After Dana finished his exams for the last summer semester, it was time to say goodbye to his friends. Although he took the entrance exam for Eton College in order not to reveal his secret, unlike his friends, he would eventually go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I felt somewhat reluctant to give up for a while. Thanks to the day-to-day interactions with his friends, Dana successfully acted as a Muggle child without revealing his identity as a wizard. After that, everyone’s interactions will become less and less, and I really want to see them again.

Sam becomes stronger and will be a master of sports in the future; Matt runs fast and will achieve success in track and field; Carl, who was once the shortest and now the tallest, still sheds tears when he cries.

Say goodbye to each other. Dana knew that according to the family book "Communication between Muggles and Magic", once he agreed to go to Hogwarts, his friends would forget about him.

This was not a friendship that capsized at the drop of a hat, nor was it a plastic brotherhood. It was just that once he agreed to go to Hogwarts to study, his name would be cast by a forgetting spell that only worked on Muggles.

Once a forgetting spell is cast on a name, except for direct blood relatives, all people who know the name will gradually no longer think of the person and related memories unless they meet face to face. Then once you leave, you forget about it again until the curse is lifted.

This is a requirement of the Secrecy Act, so that Muggles will not be surprised by their friends' sudden disappearance and asking around, which increases the risk of leakage.

Although intellectually speaking, this is good for everyone; but emotionally speaking, this kind of "I still think about you, you have forgotten me" feeling is somewhat sad.

It will soon be mid-July, and counting the days, the admission notice to Hogwarts will be sent out. Dana carefully prepared the nuts and waited for the arrival of the owl messenger.

Dana found it amusing to think of Mr. Dursley running around in all kinds of ways to avoid receiving the notice. Harry Potter is about to leave the Dursleys and start a new life at Hogwarts.

What about myself? What will Hogwarts bring to me? Will my parents be willing to give up Norton College to study magic? Why didn’t I consider this issue before?

Just as he was thinking about it, someone knocked on the door and opened it and came in directly. It was Ivan.

"Brother, will the notice come today?"

"I don't know, it should be in the next two days."

"Is it really going to be sent by an owl?" Ivan's eyes blinked.

Dana couldn't help but reached out and pinched Ivan's nose, and replied: "Yes, you have also read that notebook."

Ivan ran away from Dana's hand and rolled his eyes: "You pinched your nose."

Dana laughed and wanted to tease Ivan. At this time, he heard the sound of something pecking at the glass. He turned around and saw an owl staring at him.

Dana quickly opened the window and let the owl in. The owl dropped a letter on the table. Ivan quickly grabbed it to take a look.

Dana ignored Ivan and quickly took out the prepared nuts. He opened the lid of the water glass, turned it over and poured some water. He put it on the table and pushed it to the owl. He said to it: "Thank you for your hard work. Eat it. Wait a moment." , I still want to reply."

Perhaps this owl had never received such hospitality before, and its two big eyes looked at Dana hesitantly. Dana picked up two nuts, ate them, and drank the water from the water glass, indicating that everything was fine. The owl happily ate.

Ivan had already read the envelope carefully and handed the letter to Dana. Dana took it and tore it open. Sure enough, it was the admission notice to Hogwarts.

Looking at the familiar notice, Dana only glanced at it twice before pulling out a piece of paper and writing a reply:

"Dear Professor McGonagall:

I myself have realized that I am different from others and am very honored to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It’s just that my parents know nothing about magic and cannot believe that magic schools really exist.

I hope your school can send someone to help me convince my parents. We will be waiting for you at your appointed time.

Sincerely, Dynawell”

Then he folded the paper and handed it to the satiated owl: "Please send the letter to Professor McGonagall."

The owl grabbed the letter, nodded solemnly, flew out of the window, and flew to the sky.

"Brother, what did you tell your parents?" Ivan asked.

"Tell the truth. I also asked Hogwarts to send professors to convince my parents. I hope there will be good results." Dana shrugged: "By the way, then you stay in the room and wait for my business. Once the deal is settled, let’s continue talking about your business.”

Ivan nodded in agreement and trusted his brother to handle everything.

After dinner in the evening, Dana told his parents that he had something important to discuss. The three of them came to the study and sat down.

Dana handed the notice to his parents and said, "The owl sent it this afternoon." Then he waited patiently for his parents to read the notice.

Bob asked: "Is it really sent by an owl? This is a new popular prank this year." He looked at the two people, trying to see what clues they had on their faces. Unfortunately, he didn't see anything.

"It says magic school, not magic school," Bob added doubtfully.

Dana had noticed something unusual about Amanda before. She was usually the first to speak out, but today she was unusually silent. She hesitated to speak, but finally made up her mind to speak.

"When I was a kid, I received an almost identical letter once."

Bob looked at his wife in surprise, "You mean the exact same letter, then what about you?"

"I was crazy with joy at that time, but my father was firmly opposed to it, and I don't know how he dealt with it. In the end, it was nothing. You will know the rest." Amanda said unhappily.

Bob grabbed his wife's hand and held it tight for comfort. Amanda forced a smile.

Bob spoke again: "Fortunately you didn't go. If you had gone, you wouldn't have met the handsome me, and you wouldn't have such a blessed family and two such smart and obedient sons."

Amanda smiled genuinely now.

"Ahem" Dana quickly reminded of his presence. This romantic movie is about to evolve into an action movie, but we haven’t gotten down to business yet.

"I have written to the school, hoping to send someone to prove the existence of magic and magic schools."

"Well done, son." Bob praised loudly and glanced at his wife: "I don't know whether it's true or not yet, so you have to be careful."

"Dong dong" someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Mary opened the door and said, "Sir, there is a professor from Hogwarts below who wants to see you, your wife, and Dana."

"Go and do your work. We'll go down right away." Mr. and Mrs. Weir brought Dana to the living room.

Entering the living room, Dana and Weir saw a surprisingly small man sitting on the sofa, drinking tea and waiting for them. When he saw them coming in, he jumped off the sofa and said:

"I am Filius Flitwick, Professor of Charms from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I have been appointed by the principal, Albus Dumbledore, to visit and answer your questions."

Dana breathed a sigh of relief when he looked at Professor Flitwick, who was dressed in Muggle formal attire and looked serious. Originally, he was worried that Professor Flitwick's dress would be too un-Muggle-like, which would cause displeasure to his parents and cause problems in going to school.

Relief now. As soon as I relaxed, I felt that the professor was a little funny for some reason, so I introduced my parents to him while holding back my laughter.
