Hogwarts from another world

Chapter 86 Warning (please recommend)

Professor Horace Slughorn turned and walked away.

Matthew walked into the Slytherin common room alone, and the stone door quickly closed behind him.

It was the first time that so many people appeared in the common room.

The soft armchairs by the fireplace were filled with students from all grades, and many people stood nearby. They were all worried about what had happened in the past few days...

For some couples, today may be the worst Valentine's Day they have ever spent.

Matthew first found the only prefect he was familiar with, Gemma Farley, in the crowd.

After pulling her to a remote corner, Matthew told her what Slughorn had said before.

"Do you need a password to leave the common room?" Miss Farley was almost startled: "Okay, thank you, Matthew, I will tell the other prefects about this... You also remember, don't go there Pass the password on!"

"Of course." Matthew nodded.

Then, he returned to his dormitory.

Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Nott were all here, and they all looked listless.

Not being able to leave the common room for two and a half days was a bit "cruel" for these naughty first-year students.

"Let's play wizard chess!" Nott suggested.

This proposal was quickly endorsed by the other three.

"Matthew, are you coming with me?" Malfoy shouted.

"No, you go ahead and play!" Matthew shook his head and sat at his desk.

……

The other four boys shouted while happily playing wizard chess.

Draco Malfoy is still complaining about why his chess pieces don't work as well as they used to.

The whole bedroom was soon filled with a happy atmosphere.

But Matthew was lying in front of the desk, his head lowered, thinking about something.

Hermione and Neville suddenly disappeared...

This was completely unexpected.

What happened after lunch——

Did they really find out the truth?

Or... were they just involved in an accident?

Or... were they involved in the truth due to an accident?

Matthew was suddenly a little upset. It was obvious that the whole incident was about to end, so why did such an unexpected situation suddenly occur?

Ronald Weasley is not dead... neither is Adams or Carlo... not even Justin Finch-Fletchley is going to die...

But when it comes to Hermione and Neville, things may be a little different!

If Matthew pretends nothing happened now...

Then early tomorrow morning, maybe Hermione and Neville will appear in front of them alive and kicking... Maybe, what they will greet are two corpses!

No, Neville might still be alive; but Hermione, if she was really involved in the truth, she would definitely die.

Matthew Wakefield closed his eyes.

No matter what, he couldn't watch those two children go to death.

He couldn't be cruel.

What's more, they really regard themselves as "friends".

So, he made up his mind!

Suddenly, a breeze came from nowhere...

Then, Matthew's drawer was affected by a mysterious force and opened on its own!

……

"What's going on? Why do I feel wind in the room?" Malfoy shouted in a fuss.

"It's your imagination, Draco." Nott glanced at him in confusion: "Why is there wind in the room? Keep playing chess, my bishop will eat your knight!"

"Okay!" Malfoy also felt that it was his illusion and didn't care too much about it.

Matthew looked at his opened drawer and knew exactly who had done it.

He calmly took out the ancient book from the drawer, and then slowly opened it.

On the opened page, a line of green characters appeared:

"do not go!"

Matthew blinked. He didn't expect that this book would actually "care" about him.

Normally, shouldn't such a wise book tempt oneself to join the adventure, but oneself would not do it even to death...

After taking out a quill from the pen holder and dipping it in ink, Matthew wrote calmly:

"I have to go!"

After waiting for a moment——

"You don't know what you're going to face!"

On the page, green writing appeared again. The writing was very sloppy, as if reflecting the mood of the book... It was very anxious about this matter.

Matthew calmly wrote:

"Of course I know."

The book looks a little angry:

"Then why do you still have to make such a dangerous choice?" A series of words appeared on the page. Due to the large font, it could hardly fit on the page: "She is very strong, very, very strong...maybe even better than yours." A principal is even stronger!"

Matthew suddenly smiled:

"Then do you know who she is?"

The book seemed to fall into a brief silence:

"do not know!"

Matthew dipped his hands in ink again:

"But I know, if it's not really a sure thing, who would risk their own life?"

The book fell into silence again, and then the writing on it showed:

"I don't understand, where does your confidence come from?"

Matthew slowly wrote:

"If you can really sense what's going on around you, then I think you'll know right away!"

After a pause, he continued to write:

"For a truly powerful wizard, his strength does not lie in his magic, but in his wisdom!"

The handwriting in the book looks a bit sarcastic:

"Do you think you are a powerful wizard?"

Matthew smiled again:

"of course not!"

He prepared to close the book and put it away in the drawer.

However, at this moment, all the writing on the front disappeared.

Instead, there is a line of words, the handwriting is very neat and looks very cautious:

"Take me with you!"

Matthew seemed to hesitate for a moment and wrote:

"It's not necessary!"

He added:

"Remember not to hurt my roommate."

Then, he carefully closed the book and put it away in the drawer.

……

Almost an hour later, the house elves delivered food to each dormitory.

This was the dinner Professor Slughorn was talking about.

The students who were crowded in the common room returned to their dormitories to eat.

Malfoy and Nott were enjoying themselves while eating cold quail and playing wizard chess.

Matthew quietly came to the common room, which obviously became much deserted.

He quietly approached the stone door, and while no one was paying attention, he softly shouted the password:

"Merlin!"

The stone door was slowly opened.

Matthew quickly got out and breathed in the fresh air outside the stone door.
