Hogwarts from another world

Chapter 47 Mystery (please recommend)

Matthew Wakefield couldn't believe his good fortune.

But there is no doubt that he succeeded in his original goal, which was to get Horace Slughorn to invite him to his "Slug Club."

And just after the first try, it worked.

He originally thought that he would have to work at least a few more times to win Slughorn's favor.

But no matter what, this is good news.

Matthew walked through the basement corridor with a pile of Potions supplies and returned to the door of the Slytherin common room again.

Touching the head of the big green snake, he whispered his password for the past two weeks: "Higher than Glory"

The giant snake released its tail from its mouth, squirmed slightly, and opened the stone door.

As soon as he entered the common room, Matthew saw two big men, Crabbe and Goyle, who looked particularly conspicuous.

The two of them were sitting in armchairs by the fireplace, writing furiously.

Speaking of which, these two unlucky children have almost never stopped experiencing accidents since the beginning of school. They were "attacked" twice and were then sent to the school hospital. They spent almost more time in the campus hospital than in the rest of the castle combined.

Sometimes, Matthew even sympathized with them.

He walked over quickly and sat on a soft armchair next to him.

Because of what happened with Nott before, he deliberately kept a certain safe distance from Crabbe and Goyle.

Then Matthew took the initiative and said: "Hi Crabbe, Goyle"

Both boys looked up and glanced at him.

Crabbe responded slowly: "Wakefield, what's the matter?"

"What are you busy with?" Matthew asked curiously.

"We are working on a paper for our astronomy class, which will be due in the evening," Gower replied.

In the evening they need to go to the Astronomy Tower and take Professor Sinistra's astronomy class. Professor Sinistra is very strict. If you fail to complete the assignments she assigned before, the consequences may be disastrous.

"It's too late." Matthew looked at his watch and pretended to be surprised.

It was indeed too late. Astronomy class would start at seven o'clock in the evening, and it was almost five o'clock in the afternoon.

"Yes." The two boys nodded together and were about to bury their heads and continue writing: "We have to work harder."

"Hey, wait a minute," Matthew said again.

They looked up again, puzzled expressions on their faces.

"Do you need some help?" Matthew said calmly: "Maybe my thesis can be a reference for you."

"Really?" Crabbe and Goyle both looked happy.

"Of course, just don't be too similar, otherwise Professor Sinistra will find out." Matthew said, raising a hand:

"In addition, I have a condition"

"No problem, whoever you want to beat up, as long as they are not in fourth grade or above, we can help you," Gower said with a naive look.

"Of course I'm not beating anyone up." Matthew quickly shook his head: "I'm just a little interested in what happened when Gryffindor's Ronald Weasley was attacked in the trophy room that day."

Crabbe suddenly looked embarrassed, and he whispered in embarrassment: "Professor Rozier won't let us tell this matter."

"Forget it." Matthew looked a little disinterested. He stood up, turned around and was about to leave.

"Wait, wait," Gore shouted in a panic.

This attracted some of the surrounding senior Slytherin students to look askance.

"Yeah" Matthew turned around again.

Gower quickly waved his hands to the senior students, then lowered his voice and said to Matthew: "But you must not tell others."

"That's natural." Matthew nodded without thinking.

"The situation at that time was like this." Gore looked around for a while, and then whispered:

"We were responsible for wiping the medals, medals and trophies in the trophy room. Weasley was wiping them and complaining there. We were not familiar with him, so we didn't answer the phone. Then for some reason, he suddenly left the trophy room. "

"Left" Matthew frowned: "Where have you gone?"

"I don't know." Crabbe shook his head and continued: "Mr. Tang quickly followed him, leaving Gore and I to continue wiping things there."

"What's behind?" Matthew asked solemnly, "Are Weasley and Mr. Tang back?"

"It's not clear what happened later. Crabbe and I fainted for some unknown reason. When we woke up, we were already in the school hospital." Goyle said again.

"Oh, okay, thank you" Matthew nodded thoughtfully.

"So, the paper for Wakefield's astronomy class," Crabbe said expectantly.

"Wait a minute, I'll get it now" Matthew thought as he walked towards the bedroom.

According to Crabbe and Gower's description, it seems very likely that the location where the attack occurred was not the trophy room.

Ronald Weasley went somewhere and bumped into and was attacked by the "murderer"

Then the "murderer" was discovered by Mr. Tang. He attacked Mr. Tang and made him go crazy while sending Weasley back to the trophy room.

So where did Weasley go?

Perhaps only he and the murderer know this question.

In addition, why did the murderer go to all the trouble to bring Weasley back to the trophy room?

Many mysteries swirled in Matthew's mind.

While handing the astronomy course papers to Crabbe and Goyle, he also ordered:

"Since Principal Rosier won't let you tell this matter, then you'd better not tell others about it, and don't say that I also know about it."

"That's natural." Crabbe and Goyle nodded repeatedly.

Just when Matthew was about to go back to the dormitory again, a panting senior girl walked up to him.

"I'll take this to Matthew Wakefield," she said, and handed over a roll of parchment tied with purple ribbon.

"Okay, thank you" Matthew took the roll of paper with his name on it.

This looks like an invitation.

He gently opened the scroll, and there was only a very brief content written on it:

"Matthew:

I would be very happy if you could come to my office and have dinner with me this Sunday evening.

your faithful

Professor h.e.f. Slughorn"
