Hogwarts from another world
Chapter 125 Hello, Matthew
There is no doubt that this professor "Severus Snape" from Gryffindor House completely exceeded Matthew's expectations.
He has a good temper and almost never gets angry, even when facing some students who have made mistakes.
He also seems to be very enthusiastic towards others, whether he is facing students, colleagues, or even ghosts.
In terms of academics, some of his views are quite "radical" and can even be said to be very risky.
In a sense, this "Severus Snape" is almost completely opposite to the face in memory, whether in appearance, personality, or attitude.
"Is there anything else, Mr. Wakefield?" Professor "Snape" asked gently while locking the door: "In other words, you seem to be worried, is there anything I can do to help you?"
"No, no need." Matthew quickly shook his head and explained, "Sorry sir, I was thinking about something."
"That's it." Professor "Snape" smiled and patted Matthew on the shoulder: "Great buttons. Being able to do this in the first class is already very good."
"You are ridiculous, Professor Snape." Matthew said quickly and very humbly.
"This is not a compliment. I heard a friend mention it before that you are very talented in transformation." Professor "Snape" shook his head and encouraged: "Work hard."
"See you in the next class." He left the last words and walked away.
"Goodbye, Professor." Matthew waved.
As he turned to leave, he was thinking about who the "friend" Professor Snape just mentioned was.
I had two classes in the morning, with a period of physical labor in between, and my stomach was already growling with hunger.
Matthew hurried to the auditorium and found that lunch had already begun.
On the first day of school, lunch was still very sumptuous. Stacks of pork chops, beef, and large curvy sausages seemed like house elves in the kitchen, welcoming the students back.
While Matthew stuffed a large piece of pork chop into his mouth, he saw Malfoy, Nott, and Crabbe on the other side, who seemed to be discussing something.
"Draco" Matthew shouted: "What are you doing?"
As soon as Malfoy heard Matthew's voice, he quickly came over, holding a piece of parchment in his hand.
Nott, Crabbe and Goyle also gathered around.
"Only second-year students and above are eligible to participate in Hogwarts clubs." Draco Malfoy explained: "Matthew, are there any clubs that you are interested in?"
"A club?" Matthew's tone obviously became much calmer.
Due to some experiences in the university in his previous life, he was not very interested in such organizations.
He asked softly: "What are they?"
"There are various types. Large clubs have hundreds of people, and small ones may only have a few people," Malfoy said quickly: "The more famous ones are, for example, the Quidditch Club, the Gobstone Fans Club, and The Muggle Cultural Studies Group has a very wide range of options.”
"Can I not participate?" Matthew asked calmly.
"No." Theodore Nott suddenly interjected: "According to the regulations, second-year students must join at least one club. But for students in third-year and above, it doesn't matter."
"Okay" Matthew frowned slightly and asked softly: "Then what did you report?"
"Draco and I have both signed up for the Quidditch Club and the Dueling Club," Nott continued, "The others are still being considered."
"What does the Duel Club do?" Matthew suddenly became interested.
"We will be taught some content related to dueling, and there should be teachers participating," Nott said excitedly, "Why don't you join, Matthew? The dueling club is very popular at Hogwarts."
"Sounds useful," Matthew nodded in agreement: "Which teacher it will be, but it won't be Professor Rozier. Then I don't dare to participate."
Professor Rosier, the vice-principal and the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, is very strict. Logically speaking, organizations like the Duel Club fall within her "professional" scope.
"Of course not, Principal Rosier doesn't have much free time." Nott smiled: "Last year it seemed to be Professor Flitwick, and this year it will probably be him again," Nott said.
"Then sign up for me," Matthew said without hesitation, "Just this one."
"No problem." Nott quickly bent down and wrote Matthew's name on the parchment.
Malfoy reminded from the side: "The duel club's activities are on every Sunday afternoon, and they do not conflict with Professor Slughorn's banquet."
"Okay, thank you, Draco"
Matthew continued to eat lunch while secretly thinking:
Every Saturday of even-numbered weeks, you have to participate in after-school practice; plus the Duel Club on Sunday afternoon and the Slug Club meeting on Sunday night
The few hours on the weekend seem to have been eroded away.
There were no classes for Slytherin students on Monday afternoon.
Matthew originally planned to go to the library, but after thinking about it, he returned to the Slytherin common room first.
He was the only one in the dormitory, and his roommates didn't know what they were doing, and Matthew didn't care much about it.
He sat down on the soft armchair. After hesitating for a moment, Matthew gently opened the drawer of his desk and saw a familiar scene.
The book, with its yellowing paper and ancient cover, was already lying quietly in the drawer.
In other words, it has not moved for more than half a year.
fantastic
Matthew thought that after he left Hogwarts during the summer vacation, it would follow him.
But it "backfired", and he never found the book, whether in the basement of Flourish and Blotts Bookstore or in Room 13 of the Leaky Cauldron.
As if it had lost its magic.
Of course, this is definitely a good thing. No one wants something to follow them like a ghost.
Since there was no one else in the dormitory, Matthew took the entire book out of the drawer without any scruples.
Turning a page, he picked up the quill, dipped it in ink, and wrote:
"haven't seen you for a long time"
The writing quickly disappeared.
A few seconds later, a line of dark green handwriting with a very familiar font appeared in front of him:
"Hello Matthew"
