Hogwarts from another world

Chapter 11 Chocolate Frog (please recommend)

During the subsequent travels, Hermione Granger had always been wary of Neville Longbottom.

Her words suddenly became much less frequent.

Matthew, on the other hand, has been chatting happily with Neville.

I also "sniffed out" some information about the magical world from him.

It's a pity that Neville Longbottom is an eleven-year-old boy after all, and he only has a partial understanding of many things.

The information I know is not too much.

While they were talking, the train had already left London. They flew along the pastures filled with cattle and sheep, heading north.

At around 12:30 noon, there was a sudden noise in the aisle outside the box.

Then, a fat witch pushed the trolley and opened the door of the box. She asked: "Honey, do you need some snacks?"

"Kay" Neville suddenly became energetic and took a bunch of snacks such as Bibi's multi-flavor beans, chocolate frogs, and crucible-shaped cakes directly from the trolley.

"What about you, dear?" The witch looked at Hermione and Matthew.

Hermione walked over hesitantly: "Are these also free?"

"Of course" the witch nodded: "But don't waste it too much."

"Hogwarts is awesome," Hermione Granger commented a few minutes later, holding a licorice wand in her hand.

"Hogwarts pays for our tuition, book fees, and living expenses. Where does this money come from?" Matthew asked curiously from the side, while he took a big bite of pumpkin pie.

"The school itself is very rich." Neville stuffed Bibi's multi-flavor beans into his mouth: "Not to mention the principal."

Hermione's eyes then turned to a pack of chocolate frogs: "Can this frog move on its own?"

"That's right." Neville nodded: "So you have to be careful not to let it escape. Also, the pictures in it are quite interesting. I'm almost done with them."

Hermione opened the chocolate frog and took out the picture.

"It's Morgan le Fay." Looking at the image on the picture, she exclaimed: "I've heard of her in the Muggle world."

"That's her name in the Muggle world, and she's called Morgana in the wizarding world." Neville seemed to have eaten a bad-tasting Bibi multi-flavor bean, and his face became strange: "She is probably from England. The most powerful dark wizard in history, a witch of the same generation as Merlin. This card is quite rare. I suggest you keep it safe."

Meanwhile, Matthew unwrapped a chocolate frog.

His picture shows the face of an old man, a very handsome old man. At least this face is very comfortable to look at. He has neat short silver-white hair and a mustache, and a gentle smile on his face.

The name under the picture is: Gellert Grindelwald.

"It's Grindelwald" Matthew said softly.

"Don't tell me you've never heard of Grindelwald, he is the greatest wizard of this century," Neville said, "Although I already have eight of his chocolate frog drawings."

Matthew slowly turned the picture over and read the text on the back:

"Gellert Greenwald, current Headmaster of Hogwarts

Recognized as the greatest wizard of our time

Greenwald's widely recognized contributions include:

Defeating the dark wizard Dumbledore in 1945

Promote the reconstruction of the Ministry of Magic after the First Wizarding War

Discover eleven uses for fire dragon blood

Collaboration with Cassandra Trelawney was fruitful in the field of prophecy

Professor Grindelwald loves sweets and pinball."

Matthew quietly turned the picture to the front again and saw Greenwald smiling towards him in the picture.

For some reason, this smile made him shiver.

The rest of the journey seemed rather boring.

Because Matthew had obviously become much quieter, and Hermione was not willing to communicate too much with Neville.

No other wizards broke into the carriage.

This boring trip lasted about half a day.

A voice suddenly began to echo on the train: "The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train and walk to gather at the same time."

The train slowed down at the same time, and Matthew, Neville, and Hermione formed a small queue, pushing through the jostling crowd and rushing towards the door.

They got off at a brightly lit platform with a sign that read: Hogsmeade.

"Freshmen, come over here," an old man holding a lamp with a prosthetic leg shouted from one side of the crowd.

"This is Professor Kettleburn," Neville explained softly to Matthew: "He is the Care of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts and the gamekeeper."

A group of little guys crowded in front of the old man.

Only then did Matthew discover that except for the old man's left arm, the remaining three limbs were composed of magical prostheses.

After counting the crowd, Professor Kettleburn continued: "Very well, follow me. All first-year students will follow me."

They did not take the main road where the main force was, but followed Professor Kettleburn to a steep and narrow path.

There was darkness on both sides of the path, which looked a bit eerie.

As they reached the end of the path, what appeared in front of them was a black lake, and on the high mountain on the other side of the lake, a towering castle stood there.

The crowd began to cheer excitedly.

Moored by the lake is a row of boats.

"No more than four persons per boat," cried Professor Kettleburn.

Matthew, Neville and Hermione were the first to board the nearest ship.

The following crowds are also crowding in.

The two girls came to Matthew's boat.

"There is only one spot, let's switch to another one, Daphne," said the girl walking in front, "not to mention that the Longbottom family are also on this ship."

After saying that, she took the other girl's hand and left.

Matthew couldn't help but turned to look at Neville with some curiosity.

"My parents and her parents had some conflicts," Neville explained softly.

Soon, the boat welcomed the last passenger

A short, bespectacled kid with messy hair and his head lowered.

"Hello" Hermione greeted him proactively.

The thin boy just looked up at them timidly, and then quickly lowered his head.
