I saw this monk, aged about fifty or less than sixty, with kind eyebrows and kind eyes, the beard under his chin was already half white, and only two eyes were piercing, as if he could see through everything in the world.

"Amitabha, I have troubled the two benefactors to wait for a long time. This old monk is innocent, and he is the head of the Buddhist scripture pavilion. I heard that the benefactor wants to copy the scriptures and worship the Buddha in the monastery. I wonder if there is such a thing?"

While talking, Zen Master Wuwang looked at Guo Mo and Huang Rong.

"It turns out that there are two dolls who know martial arts. This kid has extraordinary internal skills! Hmm, one of them is actually a little girl?"

Zen Master Wuwang, with sharp eyesight, saw the details of the two of them at once, but his face was silent.

"It turned out that Zen Master Wuwang of the Cangjing Pavilion was in person, Xiaosheng Guo Mo is very polite." Guo Mo hurriedly stood up and saluted.

Guo Mo was keenly aware that the old monk in front of him must also be a master of internal and external cultivation.

Don't look at the current Shaolin Temple, which has closed the mountain for a hundred years and does not participate in the battles between the rivers and lakes, but the foundation accumulated in these hundreds of years is unmatched by others.

Take this old monk in front of him as an example, according to Guo Mo's judgment, his martial arts might have already entered the first-class realm, not inferior to "Danyangzi" Ma Yu and "Changchunzi" Qiu Chuji among the "Quanzhen Seven Sons".

Maybe it's higher, it's on the same level as "Black Wind Shuangsha".

Guo Mo took out the set of rhetoric he had given to Zhike monk before, and told Zen Master Wuwang again.

Zen Master Wuwang listened quietly, no letter or disbelief could be seen on his face.

After Guo Mo finished speaking, Zen Master Wuwang asked abruptly, "Benefactor Guo, I don't know how that Senior Brother You Fang looks like?"

"Does this mean you have doubts about me?" Guo Mo was taken aback for a moment, and suddenly a monk appeared in his mind, and he replied naturally.

"As far as the old Zen master is concerned, the wandering monk is unkempt, he can't help drinking and meat, he wears a flowered monk hat, holds a broken cattail fan in his hand, and often hangs a wine gourd around his waist."

"Xiaosheng also asked him why he was like this. Isn't it against the Buddhist precepts?"

"The wandering monk said, 'Wine and meat pass through the intestines, but the Buddha keeps it in his heart'."

"Xiaosheng only felt that he was making excuses, just making excuses for himself to eat meat and drink, so he retorted, 'In Buddhism, if everyone is like you, wouldn't the precepts be lost and descriptions destroyed?'"

"The wandering monk laughed again, and replied, 'If the world learns from me, it's like entering the way of a demon'."

"'Wine and meat have passed through the intestines, and the Buddha will keep it in his heart. If the world learns from me, it will be like entering the way of magic.' Amitabha, you are worthy of Brother Daoji, and I am ashamed."

Chapter 76 Copying Sutras in the Zen Room

Seeing Zen Master Wuwang's reverent admiration, Guo Mo couldn't help but want to meet this "legendary" monk Daoji for many years.

"Amitabha, Master Guo's blessings are profound, and it is very good to meet Brother Daoji." So far, Zen Master Wu Wang believed Guo Mo's words.

However, seeing him possessing martial arts, the subconscious vigilance still exists.

"Guo benefactor's wish to copy the scriptures and pay homage to the Buddha, I can satisfy you, Jueming—"

Zen Master Wuwang called the Zhigu monk: "From today onwards, you will be in charge of the daily life and food of the two benefactors Guo and Shifu in the monastery."

"Every morning, you can borrow a Buddhist scripture at the Sutra Library, and you must finish copying it in one day."

"On the second day, go to the Sutra Pavilion to return the original copy, and then borrow new scriptures." Wu Wang glanced at Guo Mo again, "Benefactor Guo, please don't take the copied scriptures out of Shaolin Temple. I hope Benefactor Guo will forgive you."

Guo Mo naturally nodded in agreement.

Judging by the weather, it was already past noon, so it was already impossible to borrow scriptures today.

The guest monk, Jueming, led the two of them to the Kuayuan first, and stayed in a guest room with a good environment.

It is said to be a guest room, but it is actually quite spacious, with two rooms, light and dark.

One bedroom, one living room, and a covered front porch.

Under the eaves of the corridor, there is a round stone table surrounded by three stone piers.

It is very clean, but it is not elegant.

Guo Mo and the others didn't bring too much luggage, so they asked Jueming for two sets of clothes worn by monks instead, and they also went to the temple to follow the monks.

In the living room, Jueming went to bring a long food box, four dishes and one soup, and some white flour steamed buns.

Although it is plain, it is better than being clean. Guo Mo and Huang Rong are not picky, and they use it with relish.

The first day passed like this, and everything seemed so natural.

Even, Guo Mo interrupted the two-year night meditation and only regarded himself as an ordinary pilgrim.

Early the next morning, Jue Ming delivered another delicious breakfast.

Tofu, pickles, white rice porridge, and two hard-boiled eggs all have a somewhat familiar taste.

After breakfast, Guo Jing and Huang Rong changed into monk robes, looking like two lay disciples.

Jueming is also a careful person, not only brought new monk robes for the two, but also suitable for their body size.

It was still early, and there were no guests offering incense in the temple, and most of the monks were not outside during morning classes.

Jueming led the two of them through the three-story courtyard, basically arriving at the second half of Shaolin Temple.

Turning around the corridor, a very ordinary courtyard appeared in front of it.

The small courtyard is not big, covering about two acres of land. In the middle of the courtyard, there is a small three-story building.

Entering the yard and coming to the small building, I suddenly saw a horizontal plaque hanging on the small building - the Sutra Pavilion.

"This is the famous Buddhist scripture pavilion? It's too ordinary." Guo Mo secretly complained.

Jue Ming, a well-known guest monk, stopped and said, "Blesser Guo, there are three floors in this Sutra Pavilion, and the Benefactor can only borrow scriptures on the first floor."

"The second and third floors are where the temple stores martial arts secret books. Non-monastery monks are not allowed to enter. Even the monks of the temple must have the permission of the elders before they can borrow them according to the regulations."

"Guo benefactor, please remember, don't make things difficult for the little monk, Amitabha."

Guo Mo clasped his palms together and nodded in agreement.

Under the leadership of Jueming, the three of them entered the first floor of the Sutra Pavilion, and saw that the inside was filled with sutras by category, at least thousands of them.

Guo Mo was not in a hurry to choose, so he took a look around first.

It turns out that it is not all scriptures, but also some eminent monks in the past dynasties, who have opinions and comments on scriptures.

Huang Rong followed step by step. Up to now, she still doesn't know what "Brother Mo" is going to do. If you want to learn martial arts, it seems that you don't need to come to Shaolin Temple, right?

Guo Mo had already found the scripture he was looking for, pretended not to see it, turned around for a while, and finally chose the "Great Peacock Scripture".

This is a commentary on the "Buddhist Mother of the Great Peacock Mingwang Jing" translated by Bukong in the Tang Dynasty. There are three volumes in total.

Guo Mo held it in his hand, "Master Jueming, Xiaosheng should borrow this 'Great Peacock Sutra' today?"

Jueming read it, and he also read the "Great Peacock Sutra", which is not a very famous scripture, when he read it, he read it as a "monster novel".

Guo Mo wants to borrow, of course there is no problem.

After borrowing the scriptures, the three of them returned to their residence again.

Spring in the Central Plains is full of fragrance of flowers and warm sunshine.

Guo Mo asked Jueming to find a pen and paper, and simply sat on the round table under the eaves to start copying the scriptures. Jueming and Huang Rong sat on both sides and watched.

Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty, was not a good emperor, but he created this "thin gold body", but he also has his own unique features.

In his previous life, Guo Mo was forced by his parents to practice at the age of five, and he has worked hard for more than ten years.

Copying the "Great Peacock Sutra" stroke by stroke, even Guo Mo himself was a little moved by his devout look.

After staying for a long time, Huang Rong felt bored, so she told Guo Mo to go out for a walk and come back at night.

In this way, one day passed.

Guo Mo regretted it a little. The whole scriptures had about [-] words, even if he was as strong as Guo Mo, he was exhausted after writing it.

Jueming watched from the sidelines for a whole day. Except for eating and going to the toilet in between, he never left Guo Mo, never stopped or said a word.

Jueming couldn't help admiring in his heart, "Benefactor Guo really sincerely worships the Buddha!"

After copying the "Great Peacock Sutra", Guo Morao asked Jueming to enshrine the scriptures he had copied in front of the Buddha, fulfilling his mother's long-cherished wish.

On the second day, Guo Mo borrowed a copy of "Weisher Lunjing".

On the third day, Guo Mo borrowed a copy of "Moke's Monk's Law".

On the fourth day, Guo Mo borrowed a "Bodhisattva Sutra".

Huang Rong still went out every day during the day, or paid homage in Shaolin Temple, or looked at the scenery on Songshan Mountain, or went back to Dengfeng County to fight teeth.

Guo Mo, on the other hand, borrowed and copied scriptures for several days like a day, and seldom spoke for several days.

Even Guo Mo himself did not expect that during the period of copying the Buddhist scriptures, he actually read them.

I may not fully understand the content of the scriptures, but I feel that my state of mind has improved a lot, and I feel suddenly enlightened.

Jueming was also full of admiration for Guo Mo, not to mention a worldly person, even his brothers in the temple, there were few who could do what Guo Mo did.

Such a large volume of scriptures, constantly changing scriptures, and meticulous handwriting.

On the fifth day, after breakfast early in the morning, Guo Mo followed Jueming to the "Tibetan Scripture Pavilion".

Huang Rong felt bored, so she simply stayed in an inn in Dengfeng County for the past few days, and specially bought the top-quality "Four Treasures of the Study" for Guo Mo to send to Shaolin.

"Benefactor Guo, I have some trivial matters today, so I won't go in with the benefactor. I will arrange someone to deliver the vegetarian meal at noon, and the monk will go to pick up the scriptures copied by the benefactor in the evening."

After sending it to the door of the Sutra Pavilion, Jueming expressed his intention to leave with Guo Mo, sang "Amitabha", and left first.

Guo Mo clasped his hands together and bowed to see him off. Feiming saw a ray of light.

Is it the red sun hanging in the sky, or the cunning in Guo Mo's eyes?

Chapter 77 Finally Winning Nine Suns

Seeing Jueming walking away, Guo Mo came back to his senses and walked into the Buddhist scriptures pavilion as usual.

At the exit on the first floor, there is also a gray-clothed monk who is responsible for the registration of daily scripture borrowing.

Guo Mo came here for several days in a row, and the gray-clothed monk was familiar with him. Even without Jueming's guidance, Guo Mo successfully entered the first floor of the Buddhist scriptures pavilion.

Guo Mo walked back and forth twice as usual, passing a corner, looking at a few scriptures placed there.

Guo Mo picked it up and read them one by one. In the end, there were two books left in his hand. He seemed to be entangled for a long time, and then put down one of them, still looking reluctant to part with it.

"It's a pity, I can't copy so much in one day, I'd better borrow this book tomorrow." Guo Mo said to himself.

Selecting the scriptures took almost as long as in the past.

Come to the door of the Sutra Pavilion and ask the gray-clothed monk to register.

The monk took it over, glanced at the name of the scripture, handed it back to Guo Mo, and wrote three words "Langa Sutra" on the registration book.

Guo Mo didn't stop there either, and returned to his residence along the same route.

Still under the eaves of the corridor, on the stone table where he used to copy scriptures, Guo Mo took out the paper and pen he had prepared.

This "Langa Sutra" is different from the past. It is a relatively thick scripture, with four volumes and written in Sanskrit, with more than 6 characters.

Time was limited, Guo Mo did not dare to neglect, and began to copy scriptures.

With his eyes fixed on the scriptures, his hands were writing very quickly, and he was used to this rhythm in the past few days.

"Sure enough, in the cracks of the 'Langa Sutra', there are densely packed small characters." Guo Mo said in his heart.

On the surface, it was the same as usual, with his eyes fixed on the scriptures, and he kept writing.

What outsiders don't know is that at this time, Guo Mo has already used the method of "one mind and two tasks", silently reciting those small words in the cracks in his heart.

"If he is strong, let him be strong, and the breeze blows the mountains; if he is strong, let him be strong, and the bright moon shines on the river."

"The virtual and the real must be clearly distinguished. There is one part of the virtual and the real, and there is always one of the virtual and the real. The energy must be bulging, and the spirit should be restrained. There should be no flaws, no bumps, and no interruptions."

"If you don't move, you don't move. If you move slightly, you have already moved. The strength seems to be wide but not loose. When it is about to develop, it is not yet developed, but the strength is constantly broken."

......

"Holding the Nine Suns, holding one Hanyuan, this book can be called 'Nine Suns Scripture'".

Stronger than Guo Mo's current mental strength, plus eating lunch, and going to the toilet three times in the middle of the excuse, to seize the time to rest and adjust.

It wasn't until the sun went down that Jueming brought dinner, and Guo Mo's "Nine Suns Manual" was memorized correctly.

However, there are still thousands of characters in the "Langa Sutra", which has not been completely copied.

"Amitabha, Master Guo is really diligent and copied the 'Langa Sutra'."

"This scripture is said to have been written by Patriarch Bodhidharma himself, and it was written in Sanskrit, but the young monk has never read it."

Guo Mo also stopped writing, "Master Jueming is here. Sanskrit is really difficult to understand, and Xiaosheng only knows a little bit."

"Fortunately, it's just a copy. It would be much more difficult to study it." Guo Mo laughed at himself.
