Hogwarts Homecoming

Chapter 1267 Voldemort's Plan

The strong wind caused by Fox's wings blew away the letters on Amosta's desk.

After circling the low kitchen and overturning many pots and pans, Fox stood on Amosta's shoulder and touched Amosta's cheek affectionately with his beak.

It liked the warmth and light in the wizard's magic.

Remus and Severus looked at each other, both slightly surprised by the other's appearance.

Remus's surprise was also a little embarrassed.

He came to invite Amosta to his wedding, but he did not invite Severus.

In fact, that was what he originally planned to do.

After all, those acquaintances from back then were dead or injured, and those who were still alive didn't have much contact with them now.

Although Severus and he had a bad relationship when they were students, after all, they are now in the Order of the Phoenix, fighting together to resist Voldemort.

Coupled with Amosta's presence, the old grudges have actually been alleviated a lot.

The final reason why Remus decided not to invite Severus was actually some of Severus' own experiences.

Because of James, Sirius was determined to ridicule Severus's unclear relationship with Lily back then.

But he is more objective than Sirius.

He was vaguely aware that the reason why Severus left Voldemort's camp and was deeply trusted by Albus was precisely because of his deep affection for Lily.

Severus had proven that alone over the years.

Therefore, he didn't want his wedding to arouse Severus' sadness and irritate him.

"Emergency?"

Rolling his eyes at Fox, Amosta looked over calmly.

It goes without saying that Dumbledore would not have asked Fawkes to send Severus here if it was not an emergency.

Severus nodded. He looked at Remus who was about to speak expressionlessly and understood that he had misunderstood.

"It has something to do with you too."

"oh--"

Remus blinked in surprise.

"All right."

After briefly clearing the table, Severus and Remus sat down, while Fawkes was pressed into Amosta's arms.

"Before coming from Hogwarts, I was at Voldemort's."

With just one sentence, the vague embarrassment on Remus' face was revealed, and his expression became solemn.

"What's going on? Voldemort is going to give me problems again?"

Amosta looked relaxed. He fiddled with Fox's beak and asked with a smile.

"He intends to take revenge—"

Severus spoke solemnly,

"Retaliation for your actions at the International Federation of Wizards for proposing the formation of a joint force and defining the Death Eaters as an international terrorist organization."

"What is he going to do?"

Remus couldn't help but ask with concern.

Severus glanced at Remus briefly, then turned his gaze back to Amosta.

"He put Adam Vogel in charge of this matter. All the criminals who escaped from Uxta's prison will be involved in the sabotage plan. I don't know the specific plan. He will not let the Death Eaters participate."

"Why?"

Remus asked confused,

"Voldemort no longer trusts the Death Eaters?"

Severus was speechless, and Remus had no choice but to ask Amosta for an explanation. The indifferent Amosta made Remus stunned.

"You already know, Amosta?"

"I would be surprised if Voldemort didn't do something in response to my provocation-"

The corners of Amosta's mouth moved.

"As for not letting Death Eaters participate in the plan, I'm afraid our Lord Dark Lord also realizes that under the current situation, it is not a wise move to allow Death Eaters to be too active outside of the UK. This will only make the international wizarding community's opposition to food The Dead Apostles share the same hatred."

"That Adam Vogel"

Remus frowned sharply,

"You arrested him. Do you know him? What do you think he will do?"

The establishment of the Combined Forces was, to a certain extent, as devastating to the Death Eaters as the Battle of Diagon Alley.

This is another of Amosta's measures to boost people's morale. If it is undermined, then the current prosperous situation may be in trouble again.

"Just a careerist who wants to see the world fall into war——"

Amosta said.

At that time, he intervened and sent Adam Vogel to Azkaban, who was supposed to be imprisoned in Uxta.

The original intention was to send him to Voldemort.

Although he had only met him once, Amosta knew very well that this kind of wizard was just more eager to see the world in flames, rather than for the goal of making the wizard proud in front of Muggles.

Let him exist just to allow the European magical community to be more closely connected, rather than to let all countries stand on the shore and watch the jokes of the British magical community.

Seeing Amosta's indifferent expression, Severus knew something.

Compared to the last two things he wanted to say, Dumbledore was obviously more worried about more vicious incidents happening internationally.

"So, what about the Death Eaters?"

Amosta did not explain his response in detail, but turned to look at Severus.

"Has Voldemort arranged any new tasks for them?"

Severus' eyes flickered and he didn't speak, but looked at Remus.

Seeing this, Amosta's eyebrows suddenly condensed. After relaxing for a few seconds, they tightened even more.

The look Severus gave Remus was also confused.

"Voldemort intends to deal with me. Why, oh, he intends to gather Death Eaters to attack the learning machine workshop?"

"I doubt the Dark Lord has such vision yet--"

Severus tilted his mouth corners, wanting to show a sarcastic smile, but he realized that it was not appropriate to do so, so after twitching his mouth corners a few times, Severus said coldly,

"The Dark Lord obviously thinks that a wedding held between two wizards of mismatched identities at an inappropriate time is a great insult to pure blood, and he is not prepared to sit back and watch it happen."

Fawkes made a few crisp cries, breaking the suffocating silence.

After a brief confusion, Remus's face suddenly became cold,

"He intends to let the Death Eaters ruin my wedding with Tonks, right!"

Severus glanced at Remus and said nothing more.

"Is Voldemort planning to send all the Death Eaters to do this?"

The candlelight from the candelabra hit Amosita's face, creating a flickering light and shadow, just like his unpredictable mood.

After a long silence, Amosita fiddled with Fawkes's beak again.

"He said this--"

Severus said calmly.

Amosita did not investigate why Voldemort got the news of Remus's marriage so quickly. Since Tonks' parents had already started notifying relatives, it was not surprising for the small circle of pure-blood wizards to hear about this.

"So, Remus--"

Amosta's eyes were fixed on Remus, whose face was livid.

"Do you plan to invite Harry to your wedding?"

Remus and Severus both had a look of enlightenment in their eyes.

"You mean!"

Remus was surprised.

"I do have this plan. The wedding is scheduled for the weekend. I think it should be in time for Harry and their friends to attend. But I haven't made up my mind yet. After all, Hogwarts is the safest place now. Amosta--"

Remus asked solemnly.

"Do you think Voldemort has guessed my plan, so I hope to take this opportunity to..."

"No."

After a short silence, before Amosta could speak, Severus spoke first. (End of this chapter)
