Harry Potter’s Morning Light

Chapter 992: "Tiramisu"

  Chapter 992 "Tiramisu"

Master Draco Malfoy is a spoiled little **** since childhood. A Malfoy’s taste is beyond doubt. He doesn’t even look at the clothes in Mrs. Morkin’s robe shop. His clothes are basically made by extraordinary robe shops. Yes, the clothes there have another feature besides being good-looking—expensive.

For a "young master" who lives in the wizarding world all the year round and his mother sends owls to bring sweets every day, he simply looks down on the things sold in the Hogsmeade stores, including the Honey Duke.

The reason why he came to Hogsmeade was to stay in school for too long and enjoy the free air, but mainly wanted to see the screaming shed.

It was the most haunted house in the UK, but he was teased there, so he ran away. When he returned to school, he complained to his godfather, saying that he had encountered a ghost.

During the summer vacation, he ran back to school and wanted to be a "castle master", but he was chased by the **** Barromant Castle. He still remembers that Lucius was so angry that he almost lost his mind. The platinum aristocrat who had been pretentious all the year lifted him up. With his cane, his son was beaten severely, and this time he almost angered his godfather.

Hogwarts are full of pearly white ghosts. What's so scary?

He also learned later that Harry Potter had an invisible cloak, but he thought it was made of invisible beast hair. If he knew that the cloak was one of the Deathly Hallows, Draco wouldn’t have used it so easily in the sixth grade. It covered Harry's body and sent him back to London.

Hogsmeade looks like a Christmas card, especially after it snows, the thatched-roofed huts and shops have become houses in fairy tales. During Christmas, the trees here will be dotted with a bunch of flowers. Magic candles, and owls haunt the post office from time to time.

It is also a village with only wizards. Palodo is full of deep lanes. He sits on an undulating hill with steps and ramps paved with slabs. The gaps between stone and bricks are covered with vines and plants. Maybe they will look alive in summer, but now they are like blood vessels.

The altitude here should be very high. The clouds are blocked by the mountains, covering the village like fog. Coupled with those Gothic buildings, it looks like a vampire castle.

There are hardly any shops on the street. There is only one tavern with a "opening" sign, but its door seems to be decayed, and even the roof is half collapsed, almost in ruins, which makes people can't help but I wonder if this tavern is run by a ghost.

Severus walked in front of her and opened the door first. There were no guests in the tavern early in the morning. Only the bartender was busy behind the bar. The lights inside were dim, and there were spider webs on the beams. It stirred up a layer of dust and made an uncomfortable sound, as if it hadn't been changed since the Middle Ages.

The bartender is a woman. She didn't greet enthusiastically when she saw guests coming. She was still packing up the clean glasses. There was a man lying on the bar and slumbering. There were a lot of nutshells on the soles of his feet, and she looked like a drunk.

"This place is so strange." Pomona whispered to Severus.

This is not like a village where healing wizards live, but more like a village ruled by black wizards.

Severus ignored her, he found a table and sat down, Pomona sat opposite him, and they just waited without saying a word.

Not long after, the bartender put the last glass back on the cup holder, and she looked up at her only table of guests.

"What do you want?" she asked in English.

Severus held a Jin Jialong with his fingers, shook it in front of the bartender, and placed it on the old table.

The bartender hesitated for a while, walked out from behind the bar, and came next to the two of them.

"News." Severus said, "Tell us what you know."

The bartender reached out and grabbed the gold coin and stuffed it into his chest in front of them.

"What do you want to know?" the bartender asked.

"Where are the people in the village?"

"Usually at my own home, except for that guy." The bartender snarled at the drunk, "He is not a local, everyone calls him ‘drunk’."

"What is he doing here?" Pomona asked.

"Same as you." The bartender said frivolously, "What are you here for again, dear?"

"Are you a local?" Severus asked.

"No, I was hired, I live in a tavern."

"Why did you go to such a remote place?" Pomona asked.

"Everyone has their own privacy, I don't need to tell you." The bartender said blankly.

"What is special about this village?" Severus asked.

"If you mean the scenic spot, there is a sinkhole nearby, but I don't recommend you to go there. There are legends that that place is the entrance to hell."

"Is there a hotel near here?" Pomona asked.

"There are several rooms here." The bartender pointed upstairs, "But I suggest you better live in your own tent."

"This is'Welcome'?" Pomona murmured, "Merlin's beard."

"Most people arrive in Palo when they have something to do. They will leave when they are done. If you want to travel, I suggest you change to another place."

"Are there any taboos that need our attention?" Severus asked.

"Don't knock on the door casually. The residents here don't like to be disturbed, and don't use flying broomsticks. I don't know who it is, but that guy has left a strong restriction here. Nothing can fly more than two meters above the ground. Otherwise, Will fall down."

"Thank you." Severus said with a smile.

The bartender has to leave without looking back, she didn't even try to sell any food.

"This is a retreat." Severus said when she was gone.

"You said this is a seclusion?" Pomona asked inconceivably.

"Although it is not as bustling and lively as Godric Valley, it is indeed a suitable place to live in seclusion. If there are foreign enemies, the wizards here can defend together and live their own lives."

   "Wow." Pomona suddenly realized.

"No wonder there is no introduction about it in the travel magazine." Severus glanced at the drunk man, then stood up, "Let's go, let's go and see the sinkhole."

"Did you not listen to her? That is the entrance to hell."

"Even if it is indeed the entrance to hell, it is not taboo to enter, I just asked." Severus suddenly laughed.

"why are you laughing?"

"I remembered a Chinese proverb, which Wang Wei told me."

   "What did he say?"

"There is a way in heaven, you don't go, and there is no way to hell. Isn't this just the portrayal of us now?"

"Don't say that!" She covered her ears, as if refusing to listen to him.

"You said you will accompany me when you go to hell, senior sister, are you going with me now?" He stretched out his hand to her, as if inviting her to dance to a dance.

Dante once wrote in the Divine Comedy that fraud is a sin inherent in man and is the most tolerant of God, even more than murder, robbery, and arson. Therefore, fraudsters will be locked in the bottom of hell.

In front of her is an excellent double agent. Because he is good at lying and acting, even the Dark Lord and the White Wizard can't figure out who he is loyal to.

To go to **** with him is to go to the ice **** that is the furthest away from God, built for the betrayers.

A voice whispered in her ear. She couldn't tell what it said, but Pomona gave him her hand anyway.

"I will go with you." she said.

At the moment, what she was thinking about was the night in the snow-capped mountains of Tibet. Because there were snowmen outside the cave, they did not dare to make a fire. They had to hug each other to keep warm.

There is also the old song "Can’t Help Falling in Love".

Wisemensay, onlyfoolsrushin said that only fools can indulge in love.

  ButIcan\'thelp, fallinginlovewithyou

But I still can’t help falling in love with you.

ShallIstay, would it beasin if this is a crime, should I stop there?

Takemyhand, takemywholelifetoo hold my hand, please take my whole life.

   "Stupid woman."

This time she heard it clearly. The speaker was Voldemort, a great devil defeated by love. What does he know about love?
