Chapter 3095 Hiding and Revealing (Part 1)

Patsy was also unhappy with the trip.

He was in seventh grade at the time and was about to face internship and employment issues. He didn't like Bill's job and he preferred to stay in London.

But Arthur's status as a "pure-blood traitor" would make Percy's career difficult. Charlie later went to Romania to study dragons, and Percy didn't like dragons.

Unlike his more playful brothers and sisters, Percy was worried all the way, even after returning home. He didn't even care that his former pet Scabbers was being chased by Hermione's cat. He used to do it to make Scabbers his family. A member of the family gave it a bath every day despite all the objections.

"I didn't find any cracks." Severus stood on the ladder and looked at the bathroom wall. "Did you make a mistake?"

"How could it be!" Pomona stood underneath with his hands on his waist. "There must be wind blowing in."

But he lost patience and climbed back down the ladder to the ground.

"I don't want to waste time on this kind of thing." He said in a dignified tone, then turned and left the bathroom.

"What on earth are we going to do?" she said after him, and they came to the study.

On the table that belonged to Severus sat a model just like the one Albus Dumbledore once kept in the display case in the Headmaster's office - a three-dimensional version of the Deathly Hallows symbol, if not for the fact that it looked newer. Pomona almost thought Headmaster Snape had "taken it out" of the school.

He walked over to the table and stood face to face with Pomona across the table.

“Can you recognize what this is?”

"Of course." Pomona said expressionlessly, "Are you also interested in the Deathly Hallows?"

He sneered, took a piece of parchment, and pointed his wand on it. A mark similar to a scorch mark immediately appeared on the parchment.

“What about this?” he asked after removing his wand.

This is an equilateral triangle surrounded by a circle. There is a square in the middle of the triangle, and there is a circle inside the square.

“The Philosopher’s Stone,” said Pomona, looking at it.

"Look at this." Severus said, turning the three-dimensional Deathly Hallows symbol in one direction.

The straight line representing the Elder Wand has become a square, and the sphere representing the Resurrection Stone is no longer cut in half by a straight line.

“It’s a little different.” Pomona said nitpickingly, “The square of the Philosopher’s Stone has its peak on the ‘mountainside’ and does not touch the top of the ‘pyramid’.”

"I told Dumbledore the same thing, what do you think he said?" Severus asked.

“Those are two things.” Pomona said. “Don’t think blindly. Even if you can explain the meaning inside the triangle, there is still a circle outside the Philosopher’s Stone symbol.”

"Do you know about the Hidden Beast?" Severus asked. "It represents the ancient runic number zero."

“You want to say that the circle is invisible like an invisible beast?” Pomona laughed.

“What is Gorbarok’s first law?” Severus asked next.

 She didn't want to answer.

But he looked at her uncompromisingly, as if she wouldn't be able to eat at noon if she didn't answer.

“Individual components will exhibit different properties under different conditions,” Pomona said dryly, “even if these properties are sometimes contradictory.”

"You don't have to add any extra details," Severus said. "What do you think are the differences and similarities between the Philosopher's Stone and the Resurrection Stone?"

 She felt tired.

“You didn’t sleep well last night, so you can’t move your head?” He said sarcastically, “Don’t say you don’t have the energy to think, I remember you had a rich breakfast.”

That's it, why can't this stingy character, whose flaws are bound to be reported, not be changed?

She was so angry that her teeth itched, but she still concentrated on thinking. The Philosopher's Stone looked like a transparent stone, but even the purest gem would have other impurities, so that it could change colors, even if it was not like Alexandrite. One color during the day and another color at night.

The Philosopher's Stone can make those who take it immortal, but the Resurrection Stone cannot really resurrect people like in fairy tales, but Voldemort was really "resurrected", although his new body was very different from the original one. .

Mummies seem to make people immortal. Well-preserved mummies like Seti I can even have a peaceful expression, but no mummy "comes to life" to hunt down living people like in Hollywood movies.

The concept of "0" did not exist in ancient times. Although even kindergarten children now know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide with zero, there is no real "emptiness" or "vacuum" in this world.

Even if the quantum vacuum is reached, there is still a Dirac sea full of antimatter, and the "0" in the eyes of kindergarten children is invisible. For example, there was an apple in front of them, but it was taken away and eaten by an invisible beast. Then there are "0" apples in front of them. Invisible beasts exist when they appear, so they do not exist when they are invisible?

In addition to vision, humans have other perceptions, and Invisible Beast Tincture can be used in this perception-enhancing potion to temporarily improve the user's perception in addition to vision.

Invisible beasts can briefly "predict" what will happen in the next few seconds, and then find the best response method for their own survival. This improves the survival chances of this sloth-like magical animal that doesn’t move fast enough and doesn’t have sharp claws and venom to protect itself. As a result, they are not yet extinct, and humans capture them for their invisible hair. Use them to make an invisibility cloak.

The outermost triangle of the Deathly Hallows symbol represents the invisibility cloak, but in the Philosopher's Stone this triangle represents something else.

"Have you thought about it?" Severus asked impatiently.

“I was thinking!” Pomona said angrily.

“Where is your magical thinking? Is it stuck in a traffic jam?” he said sarcastically.

"You'd better shut up before I beat you up, Severus Snape!" Pomona growled.

“I thought you needed your brainpower more now.” He made a surprised sound. “When did you become the same as Gryffindor? Was it because you were often with them, so you were infected by them?”

If Ron and Harry didn't need Sirius and James, they would definitely pull out their wands and teach this Slytherin snake a lesson.

Admit it Hermione, when Harry knocked this guy unconscious with magic, you were actually very happy, even if you yelled "How dare you attack the teacher!"

"It's stable." Pomona said angrily. "Nicholas died when he stopped taking the Philosopher's Stone, but the invisibility cloak still retains its effectiveness after so many years of making it."

He stopped sarcastic and listened quietly.

“The hair of the invisible beast will lose its effectiveness after a period of time, and my pigskin cloak will also lose its effectiveness, but it lasts longer.” She finished speaking in one breath, gasping with anger.

"Yes, stable." Severus said calmly. "We always thought that the Elder Wand was a straight line running through the top of the triangle and the bottom of the circle, but it can actually be divided into two sections."

As he spoke, he gestured with his wand on the parchment.

“This half is the Elder Wand,” he said, connecting the top of the triangle to the top of the circle.

“This half is the Resurrection Stone.” He said, running a straight line through the circle.

“I didn’t think about it that way,” Pomona said.

"Neither did I. This was Dumbledore's idea." Severus said. "What else do you know?"

“Gold and silver.” Pomona pointed to the circle that was divided into two halves, and then pointed to the circle outside the Philosopher’s Stone. “This is the air element.”

"It may also be a liquid alloy." Severus pointed to the circle in the Philosopher's Stone square. "It represents the element of water."

"What's liquid in the Deathly Hallows?" Pomona said confused.

“When the stone is heated by dragon fire, it turns into magma, and when the temperature drops, it turns into stone again, but the stone looks glazed, and what I want to express is that the resurrection stone has dual characteristics.”

“Is it you or Dumbledore?” Pomona asked.

“The Elder Wand cannot penetrate the Resurrection Stone, which is a contradictory property, and the individual components will exhibit different properties under different conditions.”

She wailed.

“Are you still staying up late?” He smiled gleefully, showing his yellow teeth.

“I’m going to make coffee,” Pomona complained.

She needs caffeine to wake up her brain now. As for the problem of staying up late, Old Bat obviously often stays up late, but now he is in charge of her. She didn't let him stay up late before.

“I want a cup of black coffee.” He said from behind her. “No sugar or milk.”

 Pomona rolled her eyes.

He is an "adult", so he doesn't drink coffee-flavored milk. She will make the coffee very bitter in a while, just like the special bone spirit he brewed for Harry. After one sip, it will taste so bad that he will spit it out. .
