Harry Potter’s Morning Light

Chapter 1189: Got nothing

   Chapter 1189

  "Gazi, Gazi, Gazi"

Severus Snape's side kept reverberating with a crisp chewing sound.

Compared to the terrible movie on the silver screen, this "quack quack" sound made him even more unbearable.

"Do you want to finish this bucket of popcorn by yourself?" he said impatiently.

"Would you like something to eat?" The other party understood it in a different way, and generously placed the popcorn bucket in front of him.

"No, thank you." He said sarcastically, then adjusted his posture, trying to find a relatively comfortable sitting position in this overly soft chair.

"Are you sitting on the needle?" the other person asked.

"Quidditch, I can understand. What is the purpose of watching movies?" Snape complained, "The air here is not fresh, and the light is darker than the cellar."

"Because I want to watch a movie." Pomona said confidently, "and I don't want to watch it alone."

"Then you dragged me here?" Snape threatened gloomily.

"Would you like a Coke?" Pomona handed him the Coke.

"No." He looked at the can of carbonated drinks with disgust.

"You’re more like a pureblood who grew up in the wizarding world, Severus, haven’t you ever drunk Coke when you were a child?" Pomona asked. ?"

He remembered his gloomy childhood, so he stopped making a sound and cast his sights on the big screen.

This is a "popcorn movie" that tells the story of a mummy and a tomb robber. Now it is playing the scarab beetle crawling under the skin of one of the tomb robbers, and the cinema exclaimed.

"It's so funny." He smiled sarcastically.

"This is much better than a mummy grabbing a living person and biting." Pomona chewed on popcorn and said, "I need the flesh and blood of a living person~"

"You know this is not true." Snape said.

"It just so happens that we are studying Egypt recently, and the movie theater is showing, we can learn about Egypt in another way, not necessarily reading those old books that are full of dust."

"There are loopholes everywhere." Severus complained, "The pharaoh who was assassinated was Seti I, right? Seti I's mummy was dug out long ago."

"Have you seen it? High priest Emerton hesitated, it was Anna Sui who acted first." She focused on other places, "Immerton doesn't really want to kill the pharaoh, right?"

"But he took Pharaoh's sword in his hand." Snape said.

"Hold it in my hand, but didn't really wave it."

"Are you saying that this is implying that the power of the sacrifice is threatening the Pharaoh?" Snape asked hesitantly.

"I think so, maybe this movie is not as bad as you think."

He stared at the movie screen.

"Who is in it?" said the actor in the movie.

"He is... the one who can't mention the name." said the heroine.

The actor blew off the gray sand on the coffin, revealing an eight-pointed star depression with a scarab beetle inside.

"This looks like a lock." The actor said.

"No matter who is inside, it will definitely not come out so easily." said the heroine's brother.

"Oh, I hate bugs." A male audience in the back row said, "It's disgusting."

"I can't believe that the Egyptians actually worship this kind of thing." The female audience who watched the movie with him said excitedly. "If that kind of bug gets into my body, I would rather use a gun headshot than endure the pain. ."

"This is a waste of life." Snape said, "How long will the acting be?"

   "This is only halfway through."

So he simply closed his eyes.

"What a nightmare." He complained, "Call me when it's over."

Pomona did not insist that he must be awake to watch the movie with her, so he fell asleep peacefully in the sound effects of the horror film.

Severus used Pharaoh Camos’ dagger to cut a crocodile sculpture into two pieces.

Even after three thousand years, it is still very sharp, but this crocodile sculpture did not flow out black water like the last one, and there was no strange phenomenon.

"Damn it." He cursed. This was the fourth crocodile sculpture he had damaged.

The cultural relics in the Egyptian pavilion are so many and complex, and unlike the compliant house, the house will be ready for whatever he wants. He has to find special sculptures from these miscellaneous collections, which is not much simpler than finding a needle in a haystack.

More importantly, they have to leave before the sun rises, their time is running out.

Snape picked up the crystal ball, maybe because she put it in her bag, it was pitch black, and no sound was heard. He was so upset that he put the crystal ball back in his jacket pocket.

He had no magic power before disposing of the crocodile sculptures. Even if she had an accident, he would not be able to save her, so the most important thing now is to find the remaining 7 crocodile sculptures.

"I saw an Egyptian priest." Snape recalled what Pomona said before, "I think he looks a lot like Immortal."

"I don't know if it will work." Snape said, "but it doesn't hurt to try."

As he said, he took out something from his deformed lizard skin pocket.

A glass bowl, a bottle of grease, and a small bottle of dried gecko. These are the ingredients for the potion.

"I should have found a live gecko." Snape said to the surroundings, "Take it as a gecko's mummy."

As he said, he poured the grease into the glass bowl.

This is lotus seed fat, and then he threw the dried gecko into the fat.

He found a piece of iron, which was left over from the last time he went to Paloto, and put it in lotus seed oil.

   "Asclepius, show up!" he shouted.

Asclepius is another name of Immortal. He was the designer of the pyramids in the Third Dynasty era, and became the patron saint of the writers in the New Kingdom era 1000 years later.

The mummy of Seti I is now in the Louvre.

"Movies are movies." Severus muttered, planning to put away the bowl of lotus seed oil and gecko.

At this moment, a snow-white macaw flew in through the wall.

"Come on, I found one!" Gonsei's voice came out of the parrot's mouth. Severus followed the parrot and ran after him, and soon he came to an exhibition hall on the second floor. .

This is a crocodile sculpture made of turquoise, which looks no different from other sculptures at first glance.

"How do you know it is?" Severus asked.

Gonsei pointed to a pool of wine on the ground.

"It reacted just now, but I sent them back before something got out of it."

Severus didn’t know what to say for a while.

"How are your gains?" Gong Saiyi asked mockingly.

"What kind of snake was that kind of snake?" Severus asked.

"A kind of monster in hell, but that's just one of the many monsters in hell. Fortunately, we eliminated them while it was not strong yet." Gonsey looked at Severus. "No one I have returned from the underworld and told about their experiences. I always thought they were just legends."

"What else is dangerous? Like bugs or something?" Severus asked.

"what?"

  Severus hesitated.

"I have read a book." He said dryly, "There is a sacrifice in it, which was tortured by insects."

"There is this punishment." Gonsai said, "but this kind of punishment does not exist in the world of living people. Only Osiris can order it."

"Is there really such a bug?" Severus asked.

"What are you asking about this?" Gonsai asked.

"Have you ever thought that if you use the same method next time, it will not be a snake but the kind of bug that will be summoned?" Severus said angrily.

"Aren't you worried about yourself?" Gonsey sneered, "If you don't finish playing chess before the sun rises..."

"I know, the consequences will be serious." Severus said calmly. "I just can't imagine the consequences of this kind of bug in a big city of 10 million people."

"You are the boss, listen to you." Gonsey said indifferently, "but I want to remind you that if this is destroyed, there are still six waiting."

Severus clenched the dagger tightly and stood beside the crocodile sculpture.

After he was ready, Gonsey blanked the glass cover. At that moment, Severus raised the dagger and destroyed the sculpture.

A black oil-like liquid flowed out of the statue, emitting a pungent odor, which was not present when the sculpture was destroyed.

"Hurry up." Severus said to Gonsai, covering his nose and mouth, and the two quickly left the exhibition hall.

Waiting to come to a place where no smell can be smelled, Severus said, "Do you think it makes sense to split up?"

"At least some suspected objects can be ruled out. How many sculptures have you destroyed?"

Severus ignored Gonsey and returned to the exhibition hall he had searched just now.

"Oh, you are holding a summoning ceremony." Gonsey saw the lotus seed oil and gecko dry Severus put on the ground. "Will it work?"

"It's obvious." Severus smiled sarcastically. "Did you see a ghost?"

"Where is Mrs. Smith?" Gonsai asked.

   "Downstairs."

"Then we should go find her?"

"I have no magic power." Severus said, "I can't do much if I go."

"But you have at least the power of a man." Gonsey patted Severus on the shoulder. "Let's go, sir."

  After speaking, he trot away.

"I hate this place." Severus muttered, taking the iron block out of the lotus seed oil, not knowing what to do with the material for a while.

"What a stupid idea." He muttered, splashing lotus seed oil on the ground, and then followed Gong Saiyi downstairs.
