Harry Potter and the Old Ones
Chapter 593: Aragog
When the Quidditch trials ended, Harry, Ron and Hermione went to Hagrid's cabin on the edge of the Forbidden Forest to visit Hagrid as they had agreed.
When they got there, they saw Buckbeak, the huge grey hippogriff, chirping in front of Hagrid's hut.
It lit his sharp beak and turned its huge head towards Harry and them.
"Oh my god..." Hermione said nervously. "It's still a little flustered, isn't it?"
"Come on, don't talk about it, you disturbed it, didn't you?" said Ron.
Harry stepped forward and bowed to Buckbeak without blinking, and a few seconds later Buckbeak bowed too.
"Are you all right?" Harry asked in a low voice, approaching slowly, stroking his feathered head lightly.
After Tierra took control of the Ministry of Magic, he changed a number of laws, revoking many bans and warrants.
Among them were the death warrant and arrest warrant for Buckbeak.
Therefore, Sirius Black, who had regained his freedom, after temporarily not needing Buckbeak, he also no longer restrained it, but let it fly all over the world.
A magical animal with a high IQ like Buckbeak has a certain degree of awareness of family and friendship emotions, so after returning to freedom, in addition to playing everywhere, it will return to it almost every day. Its "mother" is here, sometimes eating and drinking, and sometimes just visiting Hagrid.
"Ow—" Buckbeak cried out to Harry's touch.
When Hagrid saw the three of Harry coming, he strode to the corner of his hut, still wearing his flowery apron and carrying a basket of potatoes in his hand.
With Fang following his feet, he gave a wary cry and ran forward.
"Leave it! He'll bite your fingers—oh, more than that."
Fang jumped up in front of Hermione and Ron, trying to add their ears. Hagrid stopped to look at them, turned into his cabin, and closed the door behind him.
"My God!" said Hermione, looking devastated.
"Don't worry," said Harry calmly, walking to the door and knocking loudly. "Hagrid! Open the door! We want to talk to you!"
But there is no sound inside.
"If you don't open the door, we'll blow it up!" Harry said, pulling out his wand.
"Harry!" Hermione called, terrified. "You can't—"
"Of course I can!" Harry said, and then Gao Sheng shouted, "Stand back—"
But before he could say anything, the door opened, of course Harry knew it would.
Hagrid stood there, glaring at him, with a warning look on his face despite his comically large floral apron.
"I'm a teacher!" Hagrid yelled at Harry angrily. "I'm a teacher! Potter! How can you threaten me to blow up my door!"
"I'm sorry, teacher," said Harry, the last word being heavy, and he put away his wand.
"Since when did you start calling me 'teacher'?" Hagrid looked surprised.
"From the time you started calling me 'Potter'," Harry replied tactfully.
"Very good, very smart," Hagrid growled. "Very interesting. But I'm smarter, right? Well, come in. You ignorant little ones..."
He muttered silently, and turned to let them in.
Hermione followed Harry, looking terrified.
"So?" Fang lay on Harry's lap as soon as Harry, Ron, and Hermione were at his large wooden table, drooling over his robes. Hagrid gruffly said, "What is this? Sympathy for me? Think I'm alone or something?"
"No!" Harry denied immediately. "We just wanted to see you."
"Missed me? Did you?" Hagrid sighed. "Okay. Then."
He stood up and brewed tea in his large teapot, mumbling all the time. In the end, he threw them three cups filled with tea mahogany and a plate of hard cakes.
Harry was indeed so hungry that he could bear Hagrid's cooking skills, and he hurriedly picked up a piece.
"Hagrid..." Hermione said with some guilty conscience, and Hagrid had already sat down at the table with them, and started peeling potatoes very savagely, as if every potato had a grudge against him.
"We really want to keep the Preservation Spirit Biology class safe, you know..." Hagrid sighed again.
Harry was even more convinced that some monster must have grown the potatoes, and once again was secretly glad he didn't have to stay for dinner.
"We tried it!" Hermione said timidly. "But, but, but... but your class really conflicts with our other classes..."
"Then you should come and tell me in person, instead of asking Tiera to tell me!" Hagrid just finished peeling a potato, and threw the potato into the empty plate heavily, making a loud "clang-" sound.
Concentrating on drinking tea and eating hard cakes, Ron was so startled that he almost jumped from his seat.
"Oh, sorry..." Hagrid scratched his head irritably, then explained with a sigh, "I, I'm in a bad mood recently..."
"What's wrong? Hagrid?" Hermione asked concerned.
"Aragog..." Hagrid said suddenly with a sad face. "Aragog is dying... woo woo woo... it, it, it is very sick!"
"Oh... Hagrid..." Hermione stood up and patted Hagrid lightly on the shoulder.
Harry and Ron were also comforting Hagrid in their own way—
Ron stopped eating and comforted Hagrid like Hermione did.
Whether Harry, Ron, or Hermione, they all knew how much Hagrid cared about his grotesque pets.
Harry knew that Hagrid once gave a baby dragon a stuffed bear cub, and besides, Harry had seen Hagrid feed a giant scorpion with a straw and a pacifier, and tried to talk to his murderous scorpion. The half-giant brother is reasonable.
"Hagrid, did you tell Tiera about this?" Harry asked. "I mean... Tierra must have a way to save your pet."
"Say, say, but, but..." Hagrid said twitching ~www.NovelMTL.com~ but what? ' Harry asked curiously.
With the relationship between Tiera and Hagrid, as well as their shared love for magical creatures, as long as Hagrid spoke up, Tiera would never refuse to help prolong that "Aragog"'s life.
"But...but..." Hagrid seemed to cry harder.
"Aragog was just dying of old age, but I don't know why, after I took Tiera to treat Aragog, it, it, it..."
"He's gone mad... woo woo..." Hagrid burst into tears, "he used to be very docile and wouldn't hurt anyone at all, but he seems to be scared to death by Tierra... woo woo... ...Even, even I attacked, and its children and grandchildren, also, also..."
"Hagrid... what kind of animal is Aragog?" Hermione asked strangely.
"Aragog is an eight-eyed spider." Hagrid wiped away tears.
"Ugh—" Ron, who was still trying to pat Hagrid on the shoulder like Hermione, froze instantly while comforting Hagrid.
