Chapter 174 Ron is bitten

Dragons had been something Harry had heard about since he thought he was just a Muggle.

In most stories, they are scaly reptiles with snake-like tails and bat wings that spit venom or fire.

Like witches in fairy tales, they are often synonymous with evil and greed.

Dragons destroy human dwellings and take rare treasures for themselves.

It is synonymous with power, majesty and solemnity.

Those who can kill it are called warriors and are recorded in myths and stories passed down from generation to generation.

But the creature that appeared in front of Harry only gave Harry the feeling that it was ugly. Is Draco obsessed with such a creature?

He even didn't hesitate to befriend Hagrid, the warden of the Forbidden Forest whom he despised.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Hagrid murmured. He stretched out a hand and touched the little dragon's head. The little dragon bit his finger, revealing its long pointed teeth. "Oh my God, look, it knows its mother!" said Hagrid.

"Hagrid, are you wearing some invisible dragon-skin gloves on your hands?" Malfoy, who was also obsessed with dragons but knew how much of a threat they were, said from a short distance away.

But Harry was very surprised when Draco was willing to call Hagrid by his name instead of "big man" or "you".

As for Ron, before Hagrid could answer, he was so confident that he imitated Hagrid and approached the dragon with his hand, "Come on, Malfoy, are you so timid? Don't you like dragons?"

"Ouch! It bit me!" Suddenly, Ron screamed, and Ron's right hand was already dripping with blood.

"Healed as before!" Harry read, and Ron couldn't help but look surprised, "Harry, why are you—we have never learned this spell."

The wound on Ron's right hand healed immediately, but the healed wound burst open again in the next second, but this time there was no bleeding.

Then the wound turned an ugly green color.

"Ron, don't you feel pain? You don't have time to worry about how I did it." Harry frowned and wanted to give Ron another shot.

"The wound bitten by the Norwegian Ridgeback will add toxins that prevent healing. Well, it seems that it also has an anesthetic effect. Weasley, this is the first time I find you so useful - you have given me new knowledge about dragons. Malfoy circled Ron's right hand and observed, "Harry, your spell has accelerated the speed of the wound turning green."

"What should we do? I'll go find Madam Pomfrey!" Harry said anxiously, but Ron stopped him, "Is it appropriate for us to go find Madam Pomfrey - will she see that this is a dragon attack? Bite?"

"It's not fatal, but you'll probably find the bitten hand swollen to twice its size the next day."

"If you take it hard, it will probably take about a month." Draco said with a smile, and turned his attention to the dragon again, just like Hagrid, who had not turned his attention away from the dragon until now.

"Wait, a month, this isn't with Snape-" Ron shut up mid-sentence.

"Come on, Draco already knows that. Professor Snape was bitten by a three-headed dog before, and he was the same way. No, it's a little different. Professor Snape's wound healed most of the time." Harry Draco explained to him who raised his eyebrows and turned his head.

"According to what you said, that's different. Professor Snape is a professor of potions. He has no shortage of potions to treat wounds. This is equivalent to using potions with the help of another month. The bite of the three-headed dog can be That's amazing." Draco touched his chin, thinking.

"Ron, what's wrong with your hand?" Hagrid suddenly asked in surprise.

"Nothing, I was bitten by your precious dragon!" Ron said angrily.

"Ah, that's awesome! How about I call you Norbert? Oops, I almost forgot. Ron, are you okay?" Hagrid was happy at first, and then said as if he was waking up from a dream.

"Nothing?" Ron said sarcastically, and then Hagrid really took it seriously and started teasing the dragon again.

Ron looked very surprised and a little angry.

However, he didn't know that in the original world line, he was also bitten by Norbert, and Hagrid didn't take it seriously at that time. After all, in his opinion, it would be better to just sleep for this minor injury.

This is also Hagrid's only incompetence as a professor of magical biology. He misestimated the danger of magical creatures and mistook the young wizard for his previous self of the same age.

"Hagrid, it's a female dragon. If you really want to call it, you should call it Norberta." Draco corrected, completely ignoring Ron who kept emphasizing that his hand was injured.

"Draco, how did you tell?" Hagrid asked curiously, and Draco explained, "The male Norwegian Ridgeback does not have so many spikes on its wings, and its nose will be shorter."

Hagrid quickly took out his palm-sized notebook again and started to write down.

Harry also forgot that Ron was bitten at this time. He noticed that now even Hagrid started calling Draco's name. Only Ron kept repeating - my hand - hey, guess what, brother. Why can't I hold a pen and write for the next month?

Finally, when the three of them were about to leave Hagrid's hut, Harry realized the real purpose of his hurry.

"Hagrid, didn't you tell Professor Dumbledore about Quirrell?" Harry said eagerly. Hagrid fed chicken blood to the little dragon and replied, "Yes."

"Children, these are none of your business. Dumbledore has already arranged everything."

"Also, remember to stay away from the fourth floor, so as not to lose your life!" Hagrid said seriously.

After he finished speaking, his face under the beard became kind again - to the little dragon.

"What about the dragon egg!" Harry keenly discovered the blind spot, and his insight was not only applicable to the Golden Snitch.

"Okay, I was too nervous, I forgot!"

"But I have said everything else that should be said, so don't worry about it." Hagrid said angrily, and then ordered him to leave.

On the way back to the castle, Ron was still indignant, "He is just destroying the bridge after crossing the river. How can he raise a dragon in his cabin! And my hand!"

"You can use the Fire and Water Charm, a common spell that dragon experts have to learn." Harry thought, and then suddenly stopped, "Charlie!"

"Charlie is my brother's name, and my name is Ron." Ron blinked in confusion, and then suddenly realized, "Why, let me write a letter to Charlie to ask how to treat this wound? Or let me ask for advice on the Fire and Water Charm?"

"Oh, right! Charlie is an expert in dragon research, Harry, you are worthy of it!" Ron jumped up excitedly, "But I need you to help me write this letter."

"Weasley, how did you get into Ravenclaw."

"Harry obviously meant to let Charlie take the dragon away before it was discovered." Draco said sarcastically. Judging from his unhappy expression, he was still very angry that Hagrid kicked him out of the cabin.

"That's it." Harry laughed dryly.

He noticed Draco's dissatisfaction with Hagrid, but he didn't know what to say this time. Even Harry himself was a little unhappy with Hagrid.
