Everyday Players at Hogwarts

Chapter 140 The Arrival of the Flying Broom

About a week later, when the owls swarmed into the dining hall as usual, everyone's attention was attracted by the slender package carried by six screech owls.

Harry was as eager as everyone else to know what was in the package. Unexpectedly, several owls circled down and landed right in front of him, knocking his bacon to the floor.

He was very surprised.

They had just flown away with their wings flapping, and another owl brought a letter and threw it on the package.

Harry tore the letter open first, and saw that it read:

The new flying broom Nimbus 2000 that you asked me to buy for you has arrived. Although almost all the students know about it, I don't recommend you to open it directly, lest they all want to ask me to buy it for them.

Roger Davis will wait for you at the Quidditch field at 7 o'clock tonight for your first training class.

Professor Flitwick

To be honest, Harry almost forgot that since he went to Atlantis a week ago, he hardly went out except for classes. He has been studying the magic knowledge he has learned from there, and looking at this semester's courses from a more advanced perspective. Harry is not bragging, but he has tried and succeeded in all the spells he should master this semester.

This also has a benefit, because Harry has not been out, and now few people talk about Rita Skeeter's report, and everything has returned to calm.

He casually handed the broom to Ron, who was amazed at the side.

"By the way, Ryan, what is the trauma caused by long-term control of two bodies?" Because of the arrival of the broom, Harry suddenly remembered the question he wanted to ask at that time.

"Oh, insomnia." Ryan said, but he didn't think it was serious, and added, "Long-term insomnia."

"That's it?" Harry was speechless, looking like a salted fish who had lost his dream. If he had asked at that time, would he have stayed in Atlantis for a while longer?

To be honest, now, even the arrival of the broom can't make him a little happy.

Ron, however, was attracted by the broom. He pulled Harry up and wanted to find a deserted place before the first class to open the package, take out the flying broom, and return later. Then he led the other Ravenclaw students to class together to avoid encountering Peeves.

However, just as they passed through the hall, they found that the way upstairs was blocked by Crabbe and Goyle.

Malfoy took the package from Harry naturally and touched it.

"It's a flying broom, nothing wrong." He said, throwing the package back to Harry with a slightly worried expression on his face. Ron turned his face away and secretly showed a look of vomiting.

"Potter, I just noticed that you still had a crying expression after getting the broom. What's wrong? Did those guys in the Ravenclaw team exclude you?"

"Is it that chaser Henry!" Malfoy's pale cheeks flushed slightly, and anger appeared in his eyes.

Just when Harry was about to ask Malfoy how he knew Henry and knew that he looked down on junior freshmen.

Ron couldn't hold back. "What are you talking about? That Henry is also a fan of Harry. I think you want to talk to him, because Harry hasn't been out recently." He said, "Harry is my friend, how could I not notice it?" Ron grinned at Malfoy. "If you understand the impact of Rita Skeeter's report, you will understand why Harry is alienated from you."

"What do you know? Weasley, you are a poor guy who can't even get half a broom handle. I think your stupid head is all focused on the Nimbus 2000!" Malfoy replied fiercely, "If Rita Skeeter's report is mentioned, shouldn't it be you who should leave Harry? Ron Weasley, who is passionate and has a big appetite!"

Before Ron could answer, Professor Flitwick appeared at Malfoy's elbow.

Harry secretly rejoiced that no matter which side he stood on in this conflict, it would be wrong. He even thought that it would be better if Malfoy was a girl, so careful - no! He must be crazy (Ryan, who was hiding in the corner and secretly influencing Harry, shook his head regretfully).

"I hope we're not quarreling, kids?" he asked shrilly, looking at the broom. "You should all know about Harry's special situation," Professor Flitwick said, smiling at Harry. "Harry, what model is it?"

"Nimbus 2000, sir. Nothing to do with the broom, just a joke between friends," said Harry.

Malfoy on the side secretly made faces at Ron, while silently making his friend's mouth shape.

Ron's ears turned red, and then his face almost became as red as his hair, but he tried his best to restrain himself from exploding. "Professor Flitwick, we're leaving first. We need to put the broom back in the common room first." Harry added.

Harry pulled Ron upstairs, and the footsteps of Malfoy behind him were obviously much lighter.

"It seems that Draco Malfoy, the brat, is really worried that he will be alienated by Harry Potter." Kate suddenly appeared from behind Ryan and said.

"Well, the worry is real, but it's just an excuse to test Harry. Ron's friendship with Harry is real, but he's too careless." Ryan continued, not at all frightened by Kate's sudden appearance.

"Oh! What's wrong? I can't scare you recently." Kate turned her face away depressedly and squatted on the ground, indicating that she would never get up without coaxing.

Kate also has the active skill of reducing her presence, but for Ryan now, it's just a small case.

He coaxed Kate skillfully, separated a body to go to class, and went to play with Penelope with Kate.

In today's class, Harry listened to the class as usual, but Ron seemed to have ADHD and had a hard time concentrating on listening to the class seriously.

Ron seemed to be the owner of the flying broom, and his thoughts kept flying to the dormitory, under Harry's bed - Harry's new flying broom was lying under his bed.

After the end of the day's class, Ron asked from time to time to go to the Quidditch field tonight to see what it was like there. The new younger brother Anthony also came up and nodded in agreement, expressing his concern that Harry would be excluded by other players.

So, Harry, Ron, Anthony and his two younger brothers Michael and Terry also decided to accompany Harry, and even Ryan, who was eating melons on the side, was pulled up by Harry in revenge and asked him to go with him.

Everyone in the dormitory was ready to go, and Neville naturally couldn't be absent. Even Hermione, who was not interested in Quidditch, decided to join the team because of Ryan.

It was soon dinner time. Harry behaved normally, but Ron was completely different from usual. He swallowed the food in two or three bites without paying attention to what he was eating.

Then a group of people rushed up the stairs quickly, dragging Harry who wanted to eat something more. Ron even thought of a quick solution. This time he was the first to answer the riddle of the eagle ring at the door.

After answering the dormitory, except for Harry, Ryan, and Hermione, everyone focused on the Nimbus 2000 that was about to be opened and placed on Harry's bed.

Harry looked helpless, looking at his toes, just hoping that time would pass quickly.
