Sui Xiong has never had much good feelings towards the orcs.

This is not racial discrimination. As a jellyfish, Sui Xiong does not discriminate against low-level creatures such as goblins, so how can he discriminate against orcs with a brilliant civilization? He does not like orcs for two reasons.

The first reason is that orcs are keen on slaughtering and sacrificing.

Slaughtering and sacrificing is a very common method of sacrifice, but orcs like it especially. In their culture, invading others and capturing captives as sacrifices for the sake of sacrifice is a matter of course and commonplace. This kind of slaughter not only occurs between orcs and other races, but also between orc tribes, and even within the same tribe, such cruel things often happen.

In contrast, whether humans, elves, dwarves or dwarves, although they often use killing as a way of sacrifice, they never start a war specifically for sacrifice, let alone kill their own tribe as sacrifices.

Sui Xiong felt that a race that could start a war and kill its own people for sacrifice was fundamentally different from the races he was familiar with and recognized. Although it sounded strange, he really felt that the orcs were "not of my kind" and always showed an alienated attitude.

The second reason was the beliefs of the orcs.

Regarding the issue of belief, Sui Xiong was an unwavering "belief liberalist". He believed that everyone, even every intelligent creature, had the right to freely decide their own beliefs. Believe in or not believe in a certain god, believe in this god or that god, or believe in a certain concept, or even believe in nothing... All of these are the sacred and inviolable freedoms of individuals, and are things that do not need or allow outsiders to point fingers.

He made this view one of the basic national policies of the Northwest Republic. In this country, no one can attack other people's beliefs for any reason or in any way. Various religions and various ideas can question each other and debate, but it is never allowed to declare "those who don't believe in me are guilty" or "such and such belief is guilty".

In this country, you can believe in any god, even if the god you believe in is hostile, believers will not be opposed to each other - at most they think each other is stupid and needs to see a doctor for treatment.

For this reason, Sui Xiong once took heavy measures to rectify. Many churches have been rectified, whether the churches of evil gods or good gods, they have all been rectified.

The result of the rectification is that this is the only country in the world where clergy of hostile gods can walk side by side, and there will be no offensive words or deeds except rolling their eyes at each other.

This situation is unique to the Northwest Republic, and Sui Xiong does not expect other countries to be as open-minded as himself. But he cannot tolerate the practice of "If you don't believe in my god, you are a sinner."

...This is exactly the mainstream thought of the orc society.

The orc society is a deformed society, in which "faith" is a natural barrier that distinguishes the right and wrong of "citizens". Only those who believe in the orc gods can be called citizens of the Orc Empire. Otherwise, no matter how long they have settled here, no matter how much tax they pay, no matter how much they have contributed to the country, they cannot be considered citizens.

"My ancestors have lived here for ten generations" - no!

"I paid more than 10,000 gold coins in taxes" - no!

"I shed blood for the country" - no!

For these "non-citizens", the Orc Empire has introduced various discriminatory policies, so that except for the border areas with weak governance, there is almost no trace of them in the heartland of the Orc Empire.

It's not that they can't get there, but they can't survive there at all.

If it were just like this, Sui Xiong might not be too disgusted. But the belief problem of the orc society is not just that. While they use faith to distinguish "citizens" and "non-citizens", they also use faith to distinguish "superior people" and "inferior people".

Specifically, those who can be inspired by the orc gods and have their prayers answered are superior people; those who cannot be inspired and their prayers cannot be answered are inferior people.

Similarly, it has nothing to do with what they did.

The response of the orc gods to faith is very clear. They will only respond to believers whose blood and thoughts are under their control. Regardless of blood or thought, as long as one of them is out of control, they will no longer respond to it.

This is also the origin of "half-orcs".

Half-orcs are not necessarily mixed with orcs and other races. As long as they cannot be inspired by the orc gods and their prayers cannot be answered, they will immediately become half-orcs.

As for individuals, whether they cannot be controlled because of their innate blood or get rid of control because of their awakening, they will become half-orcs.

The group of half-orcs is huge and numerous, but their status in the Orc Empire is very low. No matter how much they contribute, they will still be discriminated against and persecuted. They do the hardest work, but they get the least reward, so that most half-orcs are tortured to death, and often do not even live to middle age.

Because of persecution, half-orcs often flee in groups. There are many half-orcs who have fled in the Northwest Republic.

They risked their lives to cross the vast Gobi Desert, not for any benefits, but just to find a place where they could live in peace and stability.

Sui Xiong's friend "Iron Lion" Morani is a half-orc. Over the years, he has gathered many half-orcs who have fled here, and gradually spread his faith among the half-orc community. Because of his identity, he can easily gain the faith of half-orcs. According to the current trend, perhaps in a few decades or hundreds of years, there will be an additional "half-orc" in his priesthood.

By then, he will be the god of half-orcs, and his pantheon may also be renamed the half-orc pantheon.

Sui Xiong certainly cannot agree with the persecution of the Orc Empire against people who do not believe in the Orc gods, let alone their persecution of half-orcs - just because they cannot get the recognition of the gods, they will be discriminated against and persecuted, which is simply unreasonable!

He is an emotional person. If he likes it, he likes it, and if he doesn't like it, he doesn't like it. Reason? There are so many reasons in the world!

Since he doesn't like the culture of the orcs and their attitude towards faith, how can he like the orcs?

Therefore, he had no good feelings towards the orcs as a group or the orc empire.

Because of this, he was willing to help the elves, dwarves, and even other races, but he was unwilling to help the orcs!
