The Old Gnome looked at Grey seriously, he didn't expect anyone would block him, especially someone like Grey.

Grey was only in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane.

He looked at Grey again and raised a brow, "Oh… you've broken through to the Second stage. The Prince must really be taking good care of you."

He just noticed Grey was no longer in the First stage, but was on the Second stage of the Sovereign Plane.

"No wonder you're getting cocky." The man said calmly, but then his gaze turned murderous, "However, that's far from enough to deal with me. I'll end you in a few seconds."

The man didn't think Grey was his opponent. This was someone he fully believed he would squash with a few barrage of attacks.

"Since you're here, it means the Seventh Prince is the one who orchestrated all this. If your companions harm His Highness in any form, I'll kill all four of you. The Prince won't be able to stop me from doing that." The man didn't entertain the fact that the Fourth Prince was in danger, and it was all the Seventh Prince's doing.

"You shouldn't worry about that, like I said, you're not going anywhere. I'll be done with you soon, and you'll understand that you're the one who's in danger." Grey took a step forward and his explosive speed showcased.

His speed was frightening, the Old man wasn't able to react and was caught off-guard. He never thought Grey would make the first move, and even if Grey did, he didn't think it would have this much threat.

Grey couldn't care less about what the Old man was thinking, he appeared before him and attacked. His fist struck out, and the Old man scrambled to block the attack. A puppet appeared in front of him, also in the Fourth stage of the Sovereign Plane. The puppet blocked the attack, but it's hands were shattered from the impact of the attack. The eyes of the man widened when he saw this, but he didn't hesitate to continue retreating. He didn't dare to get close to Grey.

When battling people like Grey who has explosive speed and attack, it was best to keep as much distance as he could possibly keep from him. Grey's attack power was too much for someone in his cultivation stage. Not just that, but he was also too fast.

The puppet tried to fight, but Grey unleashed another attack aimed at the head of the puppet. The puppet didn't have hands to block this attack, it tried to use its earth element to create a wall, but before it was created, Grey's fist has gone through and smashed its head.

The Old man looked at Grey with dread, even someone on his cultivation stage only managed to withstand two blows before he was eventually taken down. Even though the puppet wasn't on the same level strength-wise when compared to the Old man, it was still a Fourth stage Sovereign who should be able to overwhelm someone two stages below it.

"You little piece of shit!" The Old man soon flew into rage. He was originally stunned by Grey's strength, but then he realized that his puppet he has spent so many resources on has been destroyed by Grey in just two strikes.

He was annoyed at the uselessness of the puppet, but he still couldn't wrap his head around how Grey was able to defeat the puppet in such a short time. The fact that Grey was able to defeat it with two blows in quick succession proves that he would've done the same to the Old man. The Old man didn't think his defenses were as high as the puppet. One has to know that the puppet doesn't feel any pain, so when Grey shattered its hands, it could still fight. But Grey was too fast and was able to shatter its head before it could even fight back.

This shows that Grey was very confident in his words. Without his puppet, the Old man felt his strength had plummeted. However, he was not going to escape from this fight. If he turns back now, he doesn't know what will happen to the Fourth Prince.

The Fourth Prince is someone he was very fond of right from when he was a child, so there was no way he would forsake him at such a moment.

'Damn it!'

Veins popped on the head of the Old man and he charged at Grey with a ferociousness he didn't display the first time.

Grey laughed when he saw the Old man coming his way, he opened his mouth and a stream of flames came out. He didn't use his normal blue flames, but used the usual reddish flames. Although the attack power reduced considerably, it didn't change much.

The Old man was an Earth Elementalist, as well as a Darkness Elementalist like all Gnomes who have all the darkness element.

The Old man created an earth wall to block Grey's attack, before sending out a large array of swords made of earth at Grey. The swords were positioned in a hexagon, and they attacked from all angles.

Grey didn't feel pressured, he blocked the attack with his fire element, while dodging the ones he couldn't block.

The Old man took another step forward, and Grey was forced to take a step back. The Old man is stronger than Grey, this was something he was well aware of, however, he has the advantage of his explosive speed and attack power. As long as he could catch the Old man off-guard, he would defeat him within a short time.

The Old man had seen his speed and knew not to get too close. His swords were arranged to create a hexagon around Grey. This was both an attack and defense technique. With Grey trapped within the hexagon, he would face attacks from multiple angles, and if he tries to step out, the Old man has enough time to stop him and retreat from his attack range.
