A day at Hogwarts

Chapter 451: Not pretending

The students of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were quite curious about Hogwarts. On Sunday morning, the guests saw many students walking towards the greenhouse, and many followed them.

However, the Shanghai figure standing guard at the door stopped the guests, and no one except Erica could enter.

"The greenhouse is Charles Smith's private laboratory. No one is allowed to enter without permission."

The guests all knew Charles Smith, the owner of the ruby, and the students of Durmstrang knew that he was Erica's friend. They really couldn't enter without Charles' permission.

Soon, the guests found another fun place.

When they came the night before, they noticed that there was a place outside the castle that emitted colorful lights. Today, when they went there, they found that it was a huge garden.

Krum asked a passing Hogwarts student in confusion: "Does this garden glow at night?"

The student replied: "Yes, this is the garden built by Charles Smith. It will look better at night."

Krum was not familiar with magical plants. He felt that Charles was magical. He could make so many things related to magical plants. No wonder he could become friends with Erica.

The group walked in the night light garden for a while and found that the Hogwarts students here were all in pairs of men and women, and they soon understood.

The explosion sound from not far away attracted the attention of the guests again, and they found something more interesting - a real-life version of minesweeper.

At the same time, Charles came to the school infirmary.

Harry was going to talk to Charles, but he followed him when he saw him coming.

"What are you doing in the school infirmary?" Harry was a little confused, "Are you sick?"

Charles said calmly: "I'm going to see Malfoy."

Harry asked incredulously: "You actually care about Malfoy?"

He also heard that Malfoy was attacked in Hogsmeade yesterday and was seriously injured. Now his brain is not working well.

Charles suddenly stopped and turned to look at Harry, frowning.

Harry was a little scared of him and asked hurriedly, "What's wrong?"

Charles said seriously, "Harry, if you go to Hogsmeade again in the future, you must be with Ron and Hermione, and you can't go to places with few people."

Harry asked puzzledly, "Why?"

Charles said, "The Death Eaters who escaped from prison last year have not been caught and are still at large."

"I'm worried that they will catch you and take you away by Apparition while you are in Hogsmeade."

This is what he just thought of.

No matter how many conspiracies and tricks Voldemort has, he has only one goal, to catch Harry and restore his body.

As long as Harry, the source, is controlled, Voldemort can't use any more conspiracies and tricks.

Harry said with some hesitation, "Ah...that's true...but...but...that...I'll be careful."

Charles narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "You can't date Ginny alone."

He didn't pay much attention to Harry and Ginny's affairs. God knows how far those two guys have gone. It would be no fun if they were caught when they were alone.

Charles continued, "Don't forget, I have the power to veto your going to Hogsmeade."

Vernon didn't want to lose his job, so he signed a consent form for Harry to go to Hogsmeade. Later, he patched it so that Charles and the old man could veto this consent form.

Harry's face suddenly became as bitter as a bitter gourd. He almost forgot about it.

It suddenly occurred to him that even if Vernon's consent form was ineffective, he still had a way.

Unexpectedly, Charles said, "If it really comes to that, I will have a good talk with Black. I don't think he wants you to be in danger either."

That said, but he felt that it would be very likely that Black himself would pretend to be Harry as bait to lure Voldemort.

Harry felt that his last hope was shattered.

He said, "I always feel that you have been weird since the beginning of the school year. It's not that you played with the Veela before the school year and damaged your brain... Ouch!"

Charles' wand was quite useful to hit people on the head at this time.

Harry rubbed his head and asked, "You mean, Malfoy was beaten up yesterday and it was related to the Death Eaters?"

"But his parents are both Death Eaters, why would they hurt him?"

Charles shrugged and said, "Who knows, maybe there are conflicts among the Death Eaters."

Harry pinched his chin and said, "Do you think Malfoy is pretending?"

"First he pretended to be attacked, and then there was some conspiracy."

Charles nodded and said, "I thought of that, so I prepared a test for him."

Harry asked curiously, "What test?"

Charles replied, "I asked Dobby what Malfoy hated to eat the most."

"Yes!" Harry clenched his fist and smashed his palm, "If he was really injured, he would definitely not eat it."

Now he was also interested, and wanted to see what Malfoy would look like when facing the food he hated.

The ward was very quiet. No students had committed suicide recently. Only Malfoy was sitting on the bed, looking out the window with lifeless eyes.

When Charles walked into the bedroom, his footsteps were a bit loud, and Malfoy didn't seem to hear it and didn't turn his head.

Harry followed behind, having put on his ancestral invisibility cloak.

Charles sat down beside Malfoy's bed and whispered, "Malfoy, how do you feel now?"

Malfoy didn't respond at all, his eyes just rolled.

Charles stretched out his hand and waved it in front of his eyes.

Malfoy didn't react at all.

Charles thought, could it be that the original Malfoy was dead, and this one came from somewhere and couldn't accept the reality for a while.

If it was someone who understood the "plot" and came here, it would be fine, but if it was a certain style of writing, I'm afraid Harry's chastity would be in danger.

Charles stopped thinking about it and reached out to pat Malfoy's shoulder.

Malfoy seemed to be startled, and his whole body shook on the bed, but his eyes had come back to their senses.

Charles asked: "Malfoy, do you remember who I am?"

Malfoy turned his head and said very slowly: "Smith."

Charles whispered again: "Where is Voldemort's Horcrux?"

Malfoy was frightened by Voldemort's name, shivered, and hurriedly said: "You...what did you say? I don't understand."

Charles took out his wand and erased his memory of asking about the Horcrux just now.

Judging from this reaction, he should not have been possessed by the traveler.

Charles said, "I brought you something delicious."

He took out a Stargazing and Touching Pie, which had lampreys sticking out of the pie crust and squid tentacles.

Charles put the pie in Malfoy's hand, gave him a fork, and whispered, "Eat it."

Harry shuddered when he saw the Stargazing and Touching Pie, then widened his eyes and watched Malfoy eat it up bite by bite.

When the two left, Harry said, "It seems that he really has a brain injury."

After a while, Helen came to the ward with an apple pie.

Madam Pomfrey saw her and said, "Oh, someone just brought food to the patient. He may not be able to eat so much."

Helen immediately asked, "Who sent it?"

She didn't expect that someone else would come to visit Malfoy and bring food.

Madam Pomfrey said, "It was Charles Smith, the kid, who brought food to Malfoy."

"Smith is the big boss of the Dancing Grass Restaurant. I smell a very nice smell, so it must be something delicious."

Helen was a little surprised. She didn't expect that Malfoy and Smith had such a good relationship.
