Chapter 111 Closed Training ([-])

Liao'an Province, Haicheng City, Maoqi Town;

A bus stopped outside a mountain depression,

Yang Zhu opened his eyes, stood up, and said to the dozen or so actors and three instructors in the car: "Now, take the paper bags in front of you, and put your mobile phones, all the cash, watches, cigarettes, Snacks, chewing gum and other things are put inside and handed over to the staff for safekeeping;”

"In a word, nothing is allowed except your clothes and emergency medicine. Once found, you will be severely punished!" Finally, the voice was extremely stern.

The people who had been vaccinated countless times did not dare to neglect, they put their things into bags, wrote their names and handed them to the staff;
After getting out of the car, a group of people were lined up into two teams and walked up the mountain on foot.

Half an hour later, Yang Zhu, who was leading the way, stopped at the gate of an ancient temple with a small scale, calmed down, turned around and said to everyone: "Remember what I told you,"

"This ancient temple is different from the temple in your impression, it is a real place of practice,"

"So, after entering, don't make loud noises, don't belittle the monks, don't say nothing, do you hear me?"

Although the voice was deliberately lowered, the severity in the tone was a bit more;
Everyone unconsciously looked a little serious, looked at the three characters "Dabei Temple" on the plaque, and nodded one after another.

After entering the temple, everyone slowed down. The extremely quiet and huge temple was swept clean, but there were not many pilgrims;
Looking at the several plaques standing at the entrance, it says "Practice the dojo, no tourism", "It is strictly forbidden to put money, take pictures, smoke, and spit in the temple", etc.,

After walking for a while, Liu Xun said with some surprise: "This monastery doesn't sell tickets, doesn't set up a merit box, but the smell of incense is so strong, it's really strange."

Yang Zhu turned his head to the side and lowered his voice: "Mr. Liu, although this Dabei Temple belongs to the same Southern sect as Shaolin Temple, it is also a Jinding Pilu sect, and it cultivates Toutuo;"

"According to the common understanding, it is an ascetic monk,"

"They don't catch money, don't keep personal belongings, and pursue self-sufficiency; they don't ask for favors or ask for help from others;"

"So here, you can't see any place where you can spend money. Even vegetarian food is provided to believers for free;"

"Because of this kind of behavior, many people have changed their views on the temple, and even attracted some local and foreign lay Buddhists to come and worship,"

"But because the Dabei Temple does not accept any offerings, these people can only light a few sticks of incense in front of the Buddha to show their respect."

"That's why the Great Compassion Temple has such a strong smell of incense, even though it doesn't have any commercial activity."

After listening to this, Liu Xun's eyes flashed, his face showed yearning, and he sighed softly: "This kind of temple is really unheard of. It seems that this is really a real practice place."

Yang Zhu smiled: "There are tens of thousands of ways of practicing Buddhism, some of which are in the world, and some are out of the world, and it cannot be said that other places must not be places of practice;"

"It's just that in China now, there are really not many temples that practice fundamentalism. That's why you are so moved by Mr. Liu."

"However, this kind of ascetic life is easy to [become into the picture], and it will change the temperament of the actors in a short period of time,"

"That's why I traveled thousands of miles to send these actors here."

"It's just that you have suffered, Mr. Liu, and you still have to suffer at such an age."

Liu Xun waved his hand indifferently: "If it is true as Director Yang said, how many people may not have such a precious experience once in a lifetime, so what's the point of suffering?"

"Besides, to my old bones, how can the splendor of the world compare to a moment of emptiness?"

Then he looked at the young director who was respectful to him, and said with a smile: "It's Director Yang, you are really clever in this way of training."

Yang Zhu knew what he meant, not to mention those actors, even ordinary people and some professional monks, didn't they look frivolous and anxious?Which brow is not full of hostility?

Therefore, if you want to perform the feeling of being an eminent monk, [Enlightenment] is the most important, but also the most difficult method, but Yang Zhu can think of finding this kind of penance place to help actors achieve appearance, and it has prestige and courage. Liu Xun couldn't help but admire the means and courage of daring to spend half a year here in isolation for a group of actors to clean up at their own expense.

Yang Zhu smiled and said a few words of humility.

After a while, everyone stopped outside the abbot's room, and a teacher left the team and walked in;

After a while, a middle-aged monk wearing a slightly worn robe and a slightly miserable but compassionate face came out.

Yang Zhu put his palms together respectfully and bowed: "Master Miaoxiang, I'm going to be polite to you, Yang Zhu."

Everyone is curious, is this man the abbot of Mercy Temple?What about cassock?What about the tin rod?What about the Pilu hat?What about the aura?

If I didn't say it, I thought it was a monk who specialized in growing vegetables in the monastery.

Zen Master Miaoxiang returned the favor: "I already know the purpose of Master Yang's visit, but I would like to ask him a few questions."

Yang Zhu lowered his eyes slightly and said solemnly: "Zen Master, please speak."

On Zen Master Miaoxiang's distressed face, a pair of eyes that seem to be able to see through the world stared at the young man in front of him: "I have read Layman Yang's script, so I want to ask Layman Yang, why are you here to promote our Buddhism?" , or... slander my Buddha?"

Everyone's expressions changed, and they thought they were planning to keep us out?

Yang Zhu smiled slightly: "I don't quite understand Zen Master's words;"

"What you call [Buddha] is a clay sculpture covered with gold and copper in the main hall?"

Zen Master Miaoxiang said in a calm voice: "Of course not."

Yang Zhu's voice was slightly lowered: "Is that something that pilgrims enshrine on the wall of their home, what they think in their hearts, and beg for pity every day?"

Zen Master Miaoxiang shook his head, and a smile appeared on his sad face: "Of course not, layman Yang has his own research on Buddhism, why bother making fun of a poor monk?"

Yang Zhu smiled, with a somewhat respectful expression: "Don't blame Zen master, I am very hostile, and my words are very offensive."

Zen Master Miaoxiang waved his hand slightly: "It's okay."

Yang Zhu looked at the starched brown patch on his body with a slight undertone, and pondered for a while: "The Zen master also knows that the so-called [Buddha] is actually the kindness, the pity, and the detachment in our hearts. "

"I have little talent and learning, have not read a few Buddhist scriptures, and my research on Buddhism is very superficial;"

"I used to think that the essence of Buddhism lies in [seeking self in all things], [unstained mind], and [wisdom reaches all living beings];"

"The purpose is to let people in the world cleanse their minds and resist all kinds of demons,"

"It wasn't until I opened the "Diamond Sutra" again one day that I hesitated. Is this really the case?"

"It says: Yesterday's heart cannot be grasped; Today's heart cannot be grasped; Future mind cannot be grasped;"

"When I first read these three sentences ten years ago, I thought they were talking about [emptiness];"

"But after several years of crawling in this filthy ten-foot soft red, I realized a truth;"

"As long as you are still living in this world, for the vast majority of people, there is no permanent [goodness],"

"There has never been a slight possibility that you can truly stay out of everything, so that [mind and nature are not stained];"

"Because if you want to live, you must get something;"

"If you have something, you must have something to ask for;"

"If you want something, you must not avoid cause and effect;"

"What corresponds to this is the trace of [evil] that people have never voluntarily given up in their hearts, and as time grows, they actively indulge this trace of evil, allowing it to thrive;"

"In the end, in this world, demons fly and infect each other."

"After I have these insights, I will read these three sentences separately,"

"It was only then that I realized that these three sentences were clearly speaking,"

"Human nature is fickle and unpredictable,"

"The Buddha of yesterday is the devil of today; and the devil of today may not be the Buddha of the future!"

"The so-called [Buddha] and [Magic] are one body;"

“The difference is only in your thoughts, in your current [asking for something]!”

"Therefore, I dare to think, since the gentle means of [Buddha] can't infect people at the moment,"

"Then why don't you turn into a [demon] and intimidate the thunderbolt of the Angry King Kong, so that the world's people will panic and fear, and dare not continue to fall?"

"Of course, in this movie, it is definitely impossible to express so many things;"

"But I just want to use intimidation so that people in the world will no longer try to find a reason to escape from their laziness and weakness by relying on the [False Buddha]."

"So...according to the appearance, my request this time is to slander Buddhism;"

"But according to the purpose, it is indeed promoting Buddhism and trying to [clean up all living beings]!"

……

After listening to Yang Zhu's remarks, Zen Master Miaoxiang nodded, then shook his head again;
Wen Sheng said: "Principal Yang's understanding of this Buddhist classic is somewhat fragmentary and somewhat extreme;"

"However, there are thousands of Buddhas, but the poor monk can't say that you are wrong."

Then he raised his head and looked at the crowd:
"The practice of this monastery is austere, with the precept of not grasping money, not begging for karma, not asking for help, and not pretending to be outsiders in everything. We rely on our own hands and feet for daily food, clothing, housing and transportation. I wonder if you can bear it?"

When everyone heard the words, they nodded.

"There is a Chinese meal in this temple, don't eat too many people, everyone eats the same food when fasting; in the afternoon, you are not allowed to eat anything except water and medicine, I wonder if you can abide by it?"

Everyone looked bitter, but fortunately they had already prepared their minds before, so they gritted their teeth and nodded.

"This temple will have a 15-day walking begging every year; stay away from the countryside, travel the world on foot, use it to live indifferently, and donate from love; and in this process, we will sleep in the wild and bend down in the dust Begging; I wonder if you can accept it?"

Everyone remembered the materials that Yang Zhu showed them before: the blisters on their feet, the figure curled up in the bridge hole and the bottom of the tree, the appearance of the monk bending over to beg; they didn't know what it was like, but they nodded in the end.

Zen Master Miaoxiang nodded, with a peaceful smile on his lips: "In that case, please place your order, please come with me."

Just two steps away, Zen Master Miaoxiang suddenly stopped and turned around: "Layman Yang, I see that you are very hostile, and you are only willing to put a few words in your eyes; if possible, don't put it here to practice for a while, so I can be with you." Discuss Buddhism."

Yang Zhu smiled a little far-fetched: "No, Zen master, I am full of trivial matters, and I need to rush over to deal with other things."

Zen Master Miaoxiang stared at him twice, sighed slightly, bowed, and turned around.

Watching that tattered patchwork gown disappear from sight,
Only then did Yang Zhu heave a sigh of relief, looked around for a while, quickened his pace on his feet,

Leaving this place of recuperation that made him feel uncomfortable...
