Chapter 259 Easier said than done! !
Cultivating immortals should be lived by the virtuous.

In terms of practice, it is even more based on this, involving cause and effect.

In fact, from Liu Di's point of view, the sense of fullness and substance of energy will make a person's arrogance inflated.

And this sense of expansion is illusory and unreal, just because the energy brought in in a short period of time exceeds the will, which triggers an overly good self-feeling.

This kind of person's morality and ambition are not enough to be controlled and accommodated under one heart.

There are two ways to solve this mental problem.

One takes time to grind.

Slowly let the heart and energy become harmonious and familiar with each other, the longer you will naturally return to your heart.

One has sufficient self-awareness and a matching mind and morality.

Instantly control the improvement of short-term energy, and can control the heart.

It is also divided into willingness (virtuous), and perseverance (to know bitterness and sweetness, and to choose bitterness. You can pick it up and put it down.).

The highest kindness is like water, because of its selflessness, it should be invincible!

Cultivation, enlightenment, attainment...

No matter what method, thoughts, intentions, actions, and so on.

All from the "heart"!

therefore.

How can a person who cannot control his "heart" go to the Great Path of Decheng?
At most, it can only maintain health and achieve small achievements.

Li Wudi compared his sword moves with Li Yiwen, and gained more insights.

He even had a new understanding of the way of cultivating immortals through Li Yiwen's exquisite sword moves!
of course.

No matter what new things are, they must sprout and break ground from old theories.

Finally, back to life! !
Li Wudi got a notebook with extremely esoteric content back then.

The content mentioned above is perfect.

Since they are all written in ancient Chinese, Li Wudi also translated them into modern Chinese.

In this way, the difficulty of understanding can be greatly reduced.

It is also convenient for myself to read from time to time in the future! !

In this notebook, roughly wrote the following words:

On the road of cultivating immortals, all the behaviors of mobilizing the essence, except for exercising the physical body before getting started, are all forks and wrong paths.

These things can be used as things to lay the foundation before getting started, but they are useless after getting started.

The so-called essentials of cultivating the Tao are not those that belong to the heart, knowing and doing.

All the exercises carried by the acquired consciousness are either uninitiated and just health-preserving methods, or they have gone astray.

The reason here is not difficult to understand.

If you want to cultivate the fruit of no birth and no death, you must start with the cause of no birth and no death.

On this point, the theory of Longguo Buddhism and Taoism is interlinked.

Only when you recognize the undead are you immortal.

The immortal person is called an iron man by the Taoists, and a King Kong by the Shi family.

Taoist theory is relatively mysterious, and it is easier for modern people to understand it with the Buddhist theory of consciousness only.

All postnatal transfer and mind-knowing exercises are done at the level of the sixth consciousness (consciousness)—the interaction between consciousness and the physical body is also at the level of consciousness.

Consciousness is constantly changing and cannot be used as the basis of practice.

To achieve the most basic achievement (detachment from life and death), at least break through the seventh consciousness (mana consciousness), and see the eighth consciousness, which is the root, the original wonderful sense of truth.

For example, the external environment is wind, and this wind passes through the five organs of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body to form the five senses.

This wind blows people's hearts and makes people's thoughts tumbling endlessly. This is the wave of the six senses.

In Taoist terms, a person's life is equivalent to ulcers.

According to Buddhism, one thought becomes the body.

This self is also called mana consciousness.

The seventh consciousness is waves - your life is just an occasional wave in the sea.

The so-called reincarnation is actually a process in which one wave falls and another wave rises.

The eighth consciousness, alaya consciousness, is very profound and subtle.

In Taoism, it is called Tai Chi, from which all things are born, so it is likened to the sea of mind.

The ninth consciousness, Amara Consciousness, is called the nature of water by the ancients. My understanding is the nature of water.

Whether it is waves, waves, or the sea, they are all water in essence, with different appearances but the same nature.

Besides, the body is the raft, so it is not important.

Before crossing the river is important, after crossing the river, it is not so important to reach the realm of cultivating immortals that can abandon the body.

The body is also divided into many layers, such as spirit, qi, essence, blood, qi, and so on.

In fact, the physical body is also very important.

There are deep mysteries in it.

Leaving the body prematurely is considered an achievement, and it is a small achievement! !
Once you know the principles, you will know how to practice real practice, which is very simple.

Just find a place to practice quietly and steadily.

You can walk, sit, sit or lie down, but you must be steady and your posture should be upright.

Let the wind from the external environment not blow in from the five roots (external breath all conditions).

Let the waves in your heart calm down slowly (no breath in your heart).

Note, do not use any method to intentionally eliminate or stop thinking here.
This kind of approach is wrong, and it is essentially an idea.

It's like trying to use waves to eliminate waves, which is useless.

In fact, you don't interfere with it, don't get distracted, and let it calm down slowly.

It's like a rough sea.

If the wind stops outside, the earthquake inside will also stop.

Then, slowly, you will calm down.

Just stick with it.

Not only persist in meditation, but also persist in daily life.

In the end, the inside and outside are completely isolated, and the mind is not moved by anything outside, and there are no delusions and delusions inside. (heart like a wall)

At this point, the sea is calm and clear, and you can naturally see the depths of the sea.

I can see something more original in my own life.

Physical and mental changes happen naturally.

That is to say, you have the qualifications to enter the Tao (you can enter the Tao).

Next, we just need to wait for the opportunity or someone to point out, and break that layer of window paper.

Here, you can quote the words of Bodhidharma.

That is "breathing all conditions outside, no breathing in the heart, the heart is like a wall, you can enter the Tao!!"

This is the way to understand the principles from the Tao, the law from the principles, and the precepts from the law.

It is the way of Confucianism to exhaust one's reason and one's nature to death.

Generally speaking, due to the limited understanding of ordinary people, if an expert teaches directly, they will not do this, but the other way around.

For example, what Buddhism calls precepts, concentration and wisdom starts with precepts.

If you have fulfilled all the precepts first, even if the reasoning is not clear, if you can calm down your body and mind, you will be able to achieve meditation.

If you have been in samadhi for a long time, you will naturally be able to generate wisdom.

As long as you don't go astray, don't be content with less, and regulate yourself according to the Shurangama Sutra's five aggregates to liberate yourself from the fifty yin demons. After gaining wisdom for a long time, it will be much easier to realize the Tao and enter the Tao.

After all, the law of cultivating immortals is very simple to write, but it is difficult to find out when you actually do it.

Where is the difficulty?

No notes here.

But in Li Wudi's view, the difficulty is that our past habits are difficult to correct and difficult to get rid of.

Once we start practicing, we will find that we have too many habits that we cannot quit.

It's easier said than done to make your heart like a wall! !
