Chapter 70
Snape had heard Dumbledore talk about Voldemort's possible return, but he had scoffed at the news.

Going to bully Quirrell every now and then is just to complete the principal's task.

No one knows Voldemort better than him.JPG
If it really is his moody and powerful master who returns, the wizarding world will definitely be bloody.

It will never be as peaceful as it is now.

Even if Voldemort himself didn't show his attitude, there must be families who want to stand out for him and take the initiative to attack.

Now this gray line is simply the thought before slapping him in the face.

Snape's heart was turbulent, but there was no expression on his face.

Rieg continued: "The first time I encountered a black shadow... The second time I encountered that black shadow was after we separated from the centaur."

As soon as Professor McGonagall looked up, he could see the three strange centaurs standing far behind the tree, neither leaving nor communicating with them.

Hagrid introduced the three centaurs to the professors.

The one with red hair and beard is Ronan who often deals with human wizards... The one with black hair is old-fashioned but very unique to Rigg, the next generation of centaur patriarch Bane...

Both Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall looked sideways at Rigg, wondering how he had been treated differently by the centaurs.

It's not that Hogwarts has never been a little wizard whose strength is far beyond ordinary people's level.

But no one was accepted into the Forbidden Forest, not even by the proud centaurs.

And, Hagrid hesitated.

"The one with the silver-white horse body is probably Firenze."

Hagrid said uncertainly.

He wiped his tears with a dirty handkerchief, tried his best to open his eyes wide and looked at the position of the centaur, not sure if the one that seemed to be glowing softly was Firenze.

He heard from Ronan that Firenze had been different from himself since a few years ago.

As if it was a message brought by the wind, or perhaps hearing his own name, Firenze stepped on the soil under his feet and walked forward.

He was a little excited.

Yes, this is the first encounter.

It doesn't matter if he moves, Bane and Ronan can only move forward.

No matter how inclined Ronan is to humans, he has never communicated with so many wizards.

Bain was even more uncomfortable.

Before today, he was still a standard normal centaur who stayed away from wizards and didn't deal with wizards.

Now that he was actually going to talk to a bunch of wizards, Bane felt that his whole horse was not good.

His silky ponytail hangs straight, and the legs that walk forward look very rusty.

Thanks to the physiological structure of the horseman, he does not have to mix his left foot with his right foot.

But the rhythm of going forward has become very strange.

Bane awkwardly swerved into the middle.

"It was the centaur who helped us. The black shadow wanted to attack Harry with a fireball."

When Rieger was putting out the fire, he was thinking, if all the people present were his own people, would he still have the opportunity to keep his knowledge of black magic with the professors?
Sure enough, Hagrid opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

He saw that it was Rigg who had cast the spell, but the guilt of having nearly killed Rigg and Harry still lingered in his mind.

This kind of harmless thing, just afraid of being punished, shouldn't matter if you don't say it?

He didn't recognize it as black magic, and Hagrid thought Rieg was worried about getting points deducted from the professors for harming the Forbidden Forest.

Regarding this point, Hagrid himself was not sure. The last little wizard who set fire to the Forbidden Forest was deducted a full 150 points and was imprisoned for a school year.

Filch was overjoyed, supervising the little wizard who was not familiar with Hogwarts mopping the entire castle floor every day.

Hagrid rubbed his hands and thought, there was no professor to check this with him anyway.

Even if the professors came to question him later, Hagrid could argue.

Why didn't you say it?

You didn't ask me either.

The other person present was Harry, so there was no problem.

Harry was still running for his life or the stream was sinking, thinking only of the shadow that almost caught up with him.

He knew it was on fire, but he only saw it after he came up.

The horsemen finally came to the center of the venue.

They all heard Rigg's words, but said nothing.

Facing Professor McGonagall, they returned to their usual attitude towards wizards.

Professor McGonagall, as a representative of the Hogwarts professor, thanked the horsemen.

None of the horsemen answered.

For a moment, the center of the empty space fell into a dead silence, no one spoke or responded to Professor McGonagall.

Finally, kind Ronan nodded to Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall felt better, not so embarrassed.

Bane began to look up at the sky again.

He had known for a long time that the centaur tribe would join Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the future, but could this fate be because of what happened now?
he does not know.

The trajectories of the stars are always blocked by various reasons, making it impossible for the horse people to make the most complete and correct language or interpretation.

Today is a different day, so Bane wants to take a closer look.

The night sky tonight is astonishingly bright, the moon sweeps across everything, and the stars are as bright as the most standard star map.

Firenze suppressed his excitement, but the eyes betrayed him.

His eyes were shining and amazingly blue, pale sapphires.

He looked Harry over carefully, his eyes lingering on the sharp, prominent scar on Harry's forehead.

"You are the Potter boy, the savior."

Firenze's heart was full of emotion.

That's it, the wheel of fate began to turn.

Much like what he dreamed about.

A weak Voldemort, a savior who broke into the forest, and a wounded unicorn.

Hagrid thought the first unicorn was dead.

In fact, the unicorn just lost a lot of blood and was rescued by Firenze.

Now he is resting and recuperating in Firenze's territory outside the centaur tribe.

The unicorn, Firenze could say proudly, had saved it from death.

Also a lot fatter than before.

It also proves that fate can be changed completely.

He looked at Professor McGonagall again and said, "You don't need to investigate the forest anymore, the forest is safe."

The danger is not in the forest, but in Voldemort.

Firenze thought calmly.

He didn't know how much Hogwarts could prepare in advance with his own words.

But Dumbledore is the iconic figure in his dream who has been fighting against Voldemort, with unparalleled strategies.

It's better than any of the centaurs he hasn't studied.

"My name is Firenze, and I would like to speak to Headmaster Dumbledore."

He added another sentence.

After obtaining such a strange power and changing the original destiny.

Firenze's eyes slid all the way along Professor McGonagall and Snape, and stayed on Rigg.

Perhaps this is the price of changing fate?

Firenze thought with some anxiety, fate affects the whole body.

The unicorns aren't dead, so new characters have to face danger.

This is fair and in line with the philosophy of the horse people.

But it also shows that his dream is not necessarily accurate, and it is likely to change.

He needed someone who was smarter and would never join forces with Voldemort to plan his future.

The future of the horse people is on his shoulders, and he always has to think more about it.

Firenze stayed because he wanted to meet with Principal Dumbledore. Now that his goal was achieved, he calmed down and prepared to leave in a while.

However, something happened that shocked Firenze.

Bain watched the phenomenon for a long time, while Ronan waited patiently.

He didn't leave just because he received Bane's order.

Bane looked at the leader, Professor McGonagall, and said, "I see the future of cooperation between the centaurs and Hogwarts. If you need anything, let Hagrid find Ronan."

Hagrid's jaw was about to drop to the ground, and Snape frowned uncomfortably.

He often came to the Forbidden Forest to collect medicines, and he had never been favored by these horsemen.

Firenze, who had already turned around and was about to leave, looked back in astonishment.

How could this be?
How could Bane support centaurs and wizards on the same side?Explain his prophecy to the wizard?

As soon as he saw Harry, his memory of the dream became clearer.

In the dream, Baine's roar seemed to echo in his ears.

"Remember, Firenze, we have sworn to never disobey Providence. Don't we see the omens shown by the movements of the planets?"

What made Bane change? How much has fate changed?
The pupils of Firenze's pale blue eyes narrowed, and he scanned everyone present.

Obviously yesterday morning, Bane was still normal.

He heard his teachings to Ronan outside the centaur tribe (swearing).

He had foreseen many situations, but he never thought that the centaur camp behind him would change.

What to do, what happened?

Firenze thought in a panic.

"Did you see that wounded unicorn?"

Bain said after careful consideration, "That black shadow is very dangerous, you should pay attention. This is what the trajectory of the stars told me."

"Yes, I will side with humans if necessary."

Bain, Ronan and Firenze nodded with their mouths wide open, and looked at Rigg again.

"Do you know what unicorn blood can be used for?"

"My name is Heimdall Day, and that's Harry Potter."

Rieger said, "Is the blood of a unicorn able to extend life?"

Professor McGonagall gave Rieger an appreciative look. She didn't expect that Rieger's level of knowledge had already been learned to this point.

This is for at least 5th grade.

Harry shook his head. He didn't know the answer to the question. "We only used its horn and tail hair in Potions. Oh, and some wands have unicorn hair in them too."

That was all Harry knew, he really didn't know much about unicorns.

Several professors knew the answer to this question, but apparently Bain wasn't asking them.

His eyes were fixed on Rigg and Harry.

Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick and Snape looked at each other with the same serious expression on their faces.

They all began to have an answer in their hearts.

"This is because killing a unicorn is an extremely cruel thing." Firenze couldn't wait to answer quickly.

"Only a person who has nothing and wants everything will commit such a heinous crime. The blood of a unicorn can continue your life, even if you are dying, but you have to pay a heavy price for it. In order to save yourself slaughtered a pure, helpless life, so that from the moment its blood touches your lips, you have a half-dead life, a cursed life."

Bane was about to be amused by Firenze.

Since the centaur Firenze woke up one day three years ago, he seemed to be out of his mind.

After offending his father, he was expelled from the centaur territory, and finally found a safe place to rest around.

Since then, I have rarely socialized with them, and I don't know what I am studying by myself every day.

Every time I met Bain, I could see Firenze's eyes of disapproval following him.

He really had a hundred thousand Merlin's socks hanging on his head, and he couldn't figure out what Firenze was thinking.

Not to mention the fate of being a human wizard, just seeing Firenze robbing him as if his destiny was robbed.

Bane was flattered.

Harry looked at the back of Firenze's head, which was speckled silver in the moonlight.

"But who is that outlaw?"

Harry uttered his question aloud, "If you're going to be cursed for the rest of your life, it's better to die, isn't it?"

"That's it." Bane agreed, a strange look on his face.

After holding it back for so many years, he has never told anyone about the fate he saw, and it feels quite comfortable to say it suddenly.

"Unless you're just using it to prolong your life so you can drink another thing--something that fully restores your strength and spells--something that makes you immortal. Now, you know What is XZ in school at the moment?"

"The Philosopher's Stone, the elixir of life created by Nicolas Maier."

Rigg replied calmly.

Professor Flitwick shrieked, "How do you know that? My God, how many little wizards have gone on Night Swimming."

Professor McGonagall's face also turned green.

She thought she finally understood what little wizards like Rigg and Harry were messing with Filch before.

"Can't you imagine, who has been waiting silently for so many years, longing for a comeback? Who is clinging to life and waiting for the right time?"

Firenze had never had such a tacit understanding with Bain.

One person finishes talking and the other starts talking, more twins than twins.

Firenze was terrified now, and he began to worry whether because he had changed his fate, his fate would be replaced by others.

If this is the case, Firenze's heart seems to be grabbed by a big hand, how long can he live?
Amidst the wind rustling the leaves, Harry seemed to hear Hagrid's words again the night they first met: "Some say he's dead. I think it's pure nonsense. There's not much humanity left in him, I'm afraid. So it's impossible to die."

Before Professor McGonagall could stop them, Rigg answered the question.

"It's Voldemort, right?" Rigg's voice overlapped with Harry's.

Harry's voice was low and hoarse, but Rigg's voice was a little light.

He had waited too long for this day.

It took him a long time to guide Voldemort into Quirrell and not Snape.

Professor Flitwick let out a gasp, as big as a boiling kettle.

"Merlin's socks..." Professor McGonagall whispered.
