Chapter 69 Violations and Investigations

Chapter 69 Violations and Investigations

"Dingling" The bell on the door rang with a crisp sound.

"Hi. You can call me 'Fergie'." Fergie showed a friendly smile and greeted Colt who walked in. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Excuse me," Colt replied, "I'm here to see Mr. Murdoch."

"Matt?" Foggy froze for a moment, "Wait a minute, he's processing documents."

At this moment, Matt came out.

Fergie suddenly felt that the atmosphere in the room was not right.

He carefully looked at the two of them.

"Come to my house and talk about it." Matt took out the sunglasses from his pocket and put them on, then walked out of the office with a guide stick.

……

"How did you find me." Matt looked at Colt sitting on the sofa, "drink?"

"No, just water." Colt declined.

"Wait, you mean, he knows your identity?" Fergie was dumbfounded, "You know what I mean."

"Yes, I know," Colt replied, "I know he's Daredevil."

"How do you know?" Fergie asked in surprise.

"If you can access the Avengers' database, you'll know," Colt replied.

"You said you were an Avenger?" Fergie felt astonished, "What's your code name?"

"Sorry, I don't have a code name, and I'm not an Avenger."

"Then how do you..."

"I hacked in."

Fergie was shocked.

"Okay." Matt put a glass of water on the coffee table, "How did you find this place?"

"The address Valeria gave me." Colt replied, "Let's continue the conversation we didn't finish yesterday."

"I'll deal with it, it's not something you should deal with at your age." Matt refused directly.

"If you don't worry about me running around in Hell's Kitchen, you can try to refuse me." Colt picked up the cup, took a sip, and then looked at the other party.

Matt's fists clenched.

After a while, he let go of his fist: "You won, I can't."

"It's really easy to use." Colt raised his eyebrows.

"Who did you learn it from?" Matt replied.

"Zhao Hang passed me."

"Well, what are your abilities?" Matt sighed.

"No ability." Colt replied, "Or, I'm smart."

Matt sighed and shook his head: "You have no idea what Hell's Kitchen is."

"I really don't know much, so I came to you."

"You must do what I ask you to do, don't make your own decisions." Matt ordered solemnly.

"Deal." Colt won with a quick win, "You can rest assured that I will not put myself in a dangerous situation because of my passion."

Matt motioned for Fergie to bring out the file.

Colt took the document and read it carefully.

"That is to say, you suspect that Sarah has something to do with Judy who shot and killed her whole family?" Colt was puzzled, "These two cases have nothing to do with each other except that they have a boyfriend who never showed up, right? One is a murder, the other is a suspected kidnapping, can't find any common ground at all?"

"In prison," Matt began, "I heard the guard say to Judy, 'He's fine.'"

"What did you say?" Fergie jumped up first, "This is obstruction of justice! Why didn't you point it out?"

"I have no way to prove it, Fergie, and, if the energy of the man behind the scenes can even infiltrate the prison, do you think it will be useful if I say it?" Matt replied.

"So you suspect that this is a case against young women?" Colt understood what the other party meant, "After all, it is impossible for a person with such power to only commit one case."

"Yes." Matt replied, "I suspect that the murder was just an accident. It is likely that Judy and the family had a dispute over this so-called 'boyfriend', and then a conflict broke out."

"And this 'boyfriend' is now attacking Sarah." Colt answered.

Matt tilts his head in approval.

"Do you have a computer here?" Colt asked suddenly.

"I have." Foggy took out a notebook from his briefcase and handed it to Colt, "What do you want?"

Colt took the computer and began to operate quickly.

After a while, he showed the computer screen to the remaining two.He pointed to a row of photos of people on the screen: "Which one is threatening Judy?"

Fergie was startled: "How did you find these photos?"

"I hacked into the prison's website and found the schedule for the day, ruled out rest or wrong positions, and that's it."

"You are..."

"I know it's against the law." Colt didn't care. "But it's not legal to dress up as a devil in the middle of the night and go out with a short stick to beat people into broken bones and concussions, right?"

Fergie glared at Matt, then pointed out the guard.

"That's it." Colt began to look up her information, "Marita Schneider."

"What should I do now? Send a demon to knock on her door?" Foggy complained with an unhappy expression.

Seeing Matt who was about to stand up, Colt quickly stopped him: "It's not necessary."

"No need?" Matt wondered.

"Usually, there is always a reason for this kind of person who is controlled by someone behind the scenes." Colt replied, "Usually the reason is money."

After speaking, he started operating on the computer again.

Fergie put his head closer.

"You're hacking into her bank account?" he exclaimed.

"Is there a problem?" Colt asked, looking up.

"Uh..." Fergie was speechless, anyway, he had already violated the law more than once, and it was meaningless to say, "Go ahead."

After a while, Colt presented the results in front of the two.

"She has three savings cards and two credit cards," Colt replied, "but I found a very strange phenomenon."

"Is there a large amount of money flowing in?" Matt asked immediately. Although he can rely on his sense of hearing and smell far superior to others to be no weaker than ordinary people, or even stronger in most things, he obviously cannot read computers. Screen.

"No..." Fergie could see the result, "She used up all her savings and maxed out every credit card..."

"Financial issues are an entry point," Matt muses. "What is it? Gambling? Or something else?"

"I don't know." Colt frowned, "She took out all the cash herself, and kept nothing."

"I'm checking her credit card records." Colt continued to operate the computer, "But if it's gambling or debt, can I use the credit card?"

"This is so weird." Colt showed the screen in front of the two, with a credit card bill on it.

"What is this?" Fergie was dumbfounded. "A large number of consumption records of Michelin restaurants and five-star hotels, etc., and a lot of high-end men's clothing?"

"Are you sure you're not checking Tony Stark's credit card?" Fergie looked blank.

I was stunned. Some people said that I followed the plot exactly like copying books. I was stupid. Could it be that my book was actually popular in the future, and then the traveler came back from the future and copied it in advance?
